    I just came across this channel and love it! It was my dream years ago to become a pilot, but I let my dream slip away. Now I love watching our brothers and sisters master these aircrafts. I would love to see more interaction with the pilots before, during or after the flight. Again, this is awesome and maybe on day I will be on one of your flights. One Love!

    Man they really make it look easy. For those who dont have a fear of heights, traveling in an aeroplane ✈ is a great experience and the ride is smoother than a car feels when in contact with the road. Feels like you are not moving as there are no objects relative to your motion (look from windows) yet moving much much faster.

    Cool. How do you know where the way points are? 🤔

    • @CallsignBookworm
      @CallsignBookworm  Рік тому +1

      The aircraft is equipped with a computer that has a database of points set as coordinates and unique to each other.
      The points can be plotted on a geographical map and also on the screens but invisible outside the aircraft.
      Every aircraft has these points(waypoints) loaded in the computers which we use to fly safely from one point to other with 100% precision.
      Thank you for your great question. Much appreciated.

    Huyo Captain ameweza......👏👏👏👏....One thing I love about your videos is that they are also educational for plane enthusiasts like me flying vicariously through pilot experts like you.....😄....nina swali - how do you know what to focus on in terms of hizo instructions zote Tower Controllers huwapatia immediately after take off na before landing?....are there like specific channels you're taught to focus on, juu personally, I'd get so confused with all that talking?.....😂

    • @CallsignBookworm
      @CallsignBookworm  Рік тому +2

      Glad you like them!
      When one is starting off,it's normally quite challenging and I'd say you get used to it such that by the time you are on your fifth training flight, your brain will have adapted to the new norm.
      The brain is very powerful you know 😁
      Thank you for the great question and for always tuning in. Asante sana.

    Very nice landing. Congrats to both of you. Question, how are pilots able to maintain the centreline in calm conditions and even during strong winds. Is there something that guides you (like an instrument showing where to aim) or is it based on judgement?

    • @CallsignBookworm
      @CallsignBookworm  Рік тому +1

      Thank you for your great question.
      When the visibility is poor we use a special tool called the instrument landing system(ILS) that provides guidance both vertical and laterally enabling a safe precise path all the way down to the runway.
      Thank you and much appreciated.

    • @kibaaranjeru6246
      @kibaaranjeru6246 Рік тому +2

      Asante. You make great videos. If possible, make one where you're doing the ILS and how it works to guide you on your path

      Hello,
      I'm not sure if it will return but I hope it does esp since I was a beneficiary and I understand how challenging the journey can be.
      However, try and not wait it. Find a way because there is one waiting for you.
      Thank you. Much appreciated.
