This is Berkley’s new premium mono. It’s easy to see why too: with a supernatural density that allows it to sink more like a fluorocarbon than a conventional mono, a trait that we can see helping it to win over a lot of carpers. Berkley has achieved this density by using pro-grade alloy monofilament polymers, a make-up that contributes to its superb abrasion resistance, huge strength, caring performance and manageability. CM90 is also available in the same breaking strains and diameters as CM70: 8, 10, 12, 15, 18 and 20lb and on 1,200m spools.

I've got the 15 on all my big pits and used the left over line to make some brilliant mono hair rigs for my barbel fishing last year brilliant stuff.

I have got this in 20lb I use it on the continent where you can’t use braided lines, I found it excellent, sinks like a bullet and doesn’t spill off the spool.
