We have an infestation of those fish in the rivers and streams of "Mountain Maryland"(western ⛰️ Maryland) from Federick County all the way to Garrett County. Antietam Creek, Catoctin Creek, Conococheague Creek, Fifteen Mile Creek, North Branch of the Potomac River, Savage River, Wills Creek and the Youghiogeny River. The two uncle prepared were a much more colorful and meaty looking fish than the ones inhabiting these waterways. The meat if prepared correctly is firm, flaky, white and a slightly sweet taste. Like anything else its always nice to positively use the thing we are trying to eradicate. It would seem baited fishing lines, hot oil filled skillets and a big dallop of tartar sauces maybe the quickest solution to our "snakehead" epidemic!
I love to watch you cook, but my dad would of slapped me for slurping on my soup and chewing with my mouth open. Also, it’s illegal where I’m from in the state of New Jersey USA to slurp on your soup. Literally!
