I only have 100 items in my closet (would like to get to 150) and I do share my entire closet on average 20-30 times a day. But now I’m thinking that’s still not enough! I also love the tip about offers and keywords! If keywords are in the description and not the title, I wonder if my item will still pop up on search results.

I noticed a lot of buyers "Like" the item but when you lower the price so low you never make money. Theyu still do not buy even when you have free shipping. I wish I could sell my lot of clothes to another seller. All of my clothes I buy for my Boutique. They are still in the orginal packaging, I have around 20 peices of different items. I don't know anymore.
Sorry that you are frustrated. Poshmark is one of those things that you need to keep at and there are a lot of moving parts to have success. I have a lot of videos on all of the different strategies I use to make sales… Of course, lots of people go into a store look around pick things up I never buy even if you put the item on sale. It’s the same with Poshmark. I don’t typically do a lot of price dropping I like to send out offer to likers, and I have a pricing model where I can send pretty deep offers and not lose money and make a profit.💕
I’m a new reseller and I hesitate pricing too high because I think people wouldn’t even take a second look at the time because the price is too high. I tend to only price just a little over what sold comps are. I’ll try pricing higher in a few items and see how that works out.
Yes give it a try and see what happens but it needs to also match with deep offers also not sure if pricing high without high offers would affect your sell through💕

Where do I look for a VA that can do my offerings? Right now I use flyp. That is very helpful. Being I only get a couple offers a month is it worth paying for a VA? I mostly have like sales but no offers. I am thinking your saying offers come plentiful to ones closet. How much should I be investing in help if I am only making a small amount of money a month. I just turned off my bundling cause I never get anyone to Bundle, but I had 3 instead of 2. I do like that better. I am fairly new at this and can only work on it PT. Also, if I price my things double (for the 50% discount) it seems people are going to breeze past my closet, if price is their main concern. I do like your video it is most informative. Short answer… All of them. Long answer …title and description are both searchable so anywhere is fine. Style tags are like a bonus in my mind. I have a video on that too💕
I get confused when you say share. Are you talking about sharing with your follower or do you mean to share to social media you have connected to your shop? Because if I shared 9 times a day with my social media people wouldn’t want to follow anymore. I’m new to Poshmark so I’m not sure what you are referring to.
I decided to delete the items that didn't have any likes (to list on other platforms or relist eventually on PM). Once I did that, I got more traffic and sales. Not sure if that was a coincidence or if my activity did something to the algorithm. And, of course, guest buyers are my favorite buyers. Re: keywords, I listed a necklace that I'd researched online for type of necklace and it was a rosary type. So, I listed it that way and another PMer commented that that was not what it was. She was wrong and I've sold similar pieces with that wording. I'm learning from researching items and types of items.
No one else on Poshmark is in charge of your business but you. Do what works for you, no matter what someone else on the internet says. If its the right keyword put it, if it doesn't apply really then don't keyword stuff. There are lots of activities that you can do to help with sales, so gather all your sales generating activities like tools and keep them in your toolbox and use them as you need them. You got this!
May I ask where you are sourcing from that you are able to spend $5-$10 and price at $50 to get a $25 sale? I have looked into some of the online sources plus local and the inventory just isn’t mashing up.

Depends if you share every hour yourself and are making the sale you want and don’t mind the time spent then do yourself but most people can’t share that much so they don’t and then don’t get the sales and still waste a lot of time…. I think $30 per month is worth it no matter how many because my time is worth it but it’s your decision 💕
If that’s what you can swing then try that to see… it’s about frequently making offers that are progressive in discount but it is also about aggressively offering too so keep that in mind I do 20 30 40 50 now💕
I used to offer a bundle discount and got immediate sales. Then people started to bundle with the discount and let their bundle sit so I would have to make an offer and give an additional discount! So, I stopped with the bundle discount? Did I do this wrong?

My dilemma is my prices are so low I can't offer at poshmarks 10% plus discount shipping. I have approx 125 listings. Any suggestions what I should do.
So many things you can do. Review the tips I share in videos and IG posts. Relist. Change photos. Revise listings. Reprice. Add keywords. Sometimes just give it time. No one answer. I offer coaching as well for deep diving into your specific situation 💕

Yes! Is the short answer. I price high on purpose so I can send offers and accept offers. However, if its an old navy tshirt you cannot price it at $50 just to offer a discount....if that makes sense. So price high but within the reasonable comps for that item. Great job on the sales! I have TONS of videos and resources for you as you dive deeper into reselling!

John i have a bot that shares my items multiple times a day. Sales have been really slow still. The algorithm rewards participating in multiple posh live shows. This weekend I had several full price sales. The only thing I did differently was go to posh live shows, make comments, like items in the live sales. I bought nothing. I stayed on a live show no longer than 10 minutes & visited about 4-5 closets Friday thru Saturday. Hope this helps you!

Perhaps… I don’t think 10% off is high enough to get people excited and feeling urgency to buy right now… Try pricing a little higher and offering deeper discounts and see what happens💕
@@RebeccaTheReseller As a buyer, I don't care about percentage, I care about final price. Before the purchase I compare prices of the item I want to buy on Poshmark and other platforms including shipping price. If sellers overprice the item and then send 50% discount but the final price with 10% discount from other seller is cheaper, I would buy the item for cheaper price regardless 50% discount. This strategy might work if you sell something unique that no one has.
You can use Poshmark sharing tool it’s free and on the phone but not very efficient…. Not sure about offers for it might need to use my shoppers for that…. Hopefully reselling goes well and you can save up for a cheap refurbished computer like I have to run mine…. It’s so helpful💕

When you send high offers your not accounting for platform fees. How can you give 50% and then Posh fee at 20%. I’m sorry my items are not purchased for a $1. The culture that’s created is what is making reselling hard. We’re not Amazon or Macy’s and we all don’t get items for cheap.
Nope and nope. I don’t shop at the bins or get items for $1. My COG is $5-10. I like for $50 I can sell for 50% off and that’s $25. Poshmark takes 20% that’s $20 then shipping discount brings me to $18. So there still plenty of profit in there for me. I am a multiple six figure reseller and earn about $60K as a salary after paying a photographer, lister and storage unit. This works great for me. I don’t judge others for how they run their biz…. I share what I do as an option. Profit in realized when a sale is made. If you don’t sell it doesn’t matter what the potential profit is. Just my 2 cents.💕
The only way some one can possibly do that is if they are overpricing there items to begin with. I wouldn’t take that advice at all unless you want to be making pennies.

Use all the best Kewords.... •••IF I DONT GET LIKES 1st, isnt that the core name of the game as STEP 1? Great question! So the goal is to sell things. So I don't really want likes or to send offers I want to sell. Ideally in a perfect world people would just buy it and that does happens sometimes. Then next best is people on PM are conditioned to get offers and send offers so they like and see what happens or they like because they want to go back to the item later like a bookmark. Then you can send offers to the likers and that is the next best option. Then you can keep sending offers to remind people about your item and the good deal if your price is high enough because you can send higher offers. If you only priced low you couldn't send multiple offers and you would miss the opportunity to get in front of the buyer over and over. I believe that multiple offers are more effective than price low and wait and see. There is a trade off but I believe worth it. This works for me and for many others that try it but it may not work for all if the items are not worth a higher price. The items have to have value for this to make sense.
@@RebeccaTheReseller just to clarify: as a newbie: is there a grear strategy for drumming up likes? IE: obvi getting products visible to ppl, ensuring proper presentation (pics/title/info( for best SEO, best keywords used etc etc) But beyond that, with SALES as the agreed GOAL: Step 1 is to get products SEEN, Step 2 is to get Audience to LIKE, Step 3 is to be able to send smart OFFERS to LIKERS & use those steps w stragegies for SALES. Can you do a video focused on those first STEPS? ..you've described the perfect listing and perfect keyword etc. But is their any stratgey to drumming up product LIKES? as that is such a pivotal step in the chain, correct? (you cant send an offer strategy unless someone first LIKES the product, is that true??) OR are there other ways to send offers to perhaps your followers or even perhaps the people that you follow? Is the only way to send those strategic offers to LIKERS? or can Poshmark offers be sent in others ways to work around that? IE, you mentioned periodic sales etc. etc. various other strategies, which I assume??? You are doing that to all of your followers, correct??? if so much is based on reacting to item LIKES, it might be EZ for an experienced Poshers w many followers, but how to drum those up if just starting? (IE: Relisting items every (60?) days? sp they are more likely to show up in the SEO PM "Just In" category?) (knowing sales dont really happen from the home feed) Does that make sense? i'm wondering if you could talk a bit in a video about the middle section of the chain .... I love your videos on the first steps (creating the perfect listing) and the last steps (perfect sale strategies for offers and other sales etc. etc. to be noticed) But perhaps you could explore the middle pivotal section of getting buyers to actually notice your products and therefore having the opportunity to send those critical offers .... to make the sale! #1 goal! thats my big "?" in the process as a newbie about to load up & launch my closet w 100-200 items from scratch... need to then be able to follow up in tagent w moving products to builf momentum & flow... To do 50%, you literally will have to source an item for less than $5.

You don’t have to do anything extra you can just leave it at the bundle discount or offer extra it’s up to you.💕

No not depending on # of followers. It’s number of items. So if you have 1000 items you can share your whole closet nine times per day.💕

Hi, I got started last month and have had 5 sales. When someone likes an item I offer a discount but then Poshmark ask me to give a shipping discount (required). By the time I do all that my pay would be very little. So, I should raise the prices? Thanks so much! 💜
Yes! Is the short answer. I price high on purpose so I can send offers and accept offers. However, if its an old navy tshirt you cannot price it at $50 just to offer a discount....if that makes sense. So price high but within the reasonable comps for that item. Great job on the sales! I have TONS of videos and resources for you as you dive deeper into reselling!
Do you have a video on how to set up PosherVA. I have it and I have it set up with different things but I am not quite sure I have it set right in every category offered. It gets a bit confusing.

Thanks to you I now know it wasn't enough. Automatic offers to watchers was too low at 10% so I am fixing that. I am very much looking forward to your tutorial and do you offer advice on closets and such? I have been selling over a year with about 100 items sold but I would like to increase my sales. I am subscribed to your channel and love the way you get to the point right away with great advice.

John i have a bot that shares my items multiple times a day. Sales have been really slow still. The algorithm rewards participating in multiple posh live shows. This weekend I had several full price sales. The only thing I did differently was go to posh live shows, make comments, like items in the live sales. I bought nothing. I stayed on a live show no longer than 10 minutes & visited about 4-5 closets Friday thru Saturday. Hope this helps you!

@@RebeccaTheReseller As a buyer, I don't care about percentage, I care about final price. Before the purchase I compare prices of the item I want to buy on Poshmark and other platforms including shipping price. If sellers overprice the item and then send 50% discount but the final price with 10% discount from other seller is cheaper, I would buy the item for cheaper price regardless 50% discount. This strategy might work if you sell something unique that no one has.

What do you do if you send out an offer then it sells on another platform? You can’t delete until time is up.
You can, just edit the item, change the size and save, that will knock out the active offers, then delete.

You can use Poshmark sharing tool it’s free and on the phone but not very efficient…. Not sure about offers for it might need to use my shoppers for that…. Hopefully reselling goes well and you can save up for a cheap refurbished computer like I have to run mine…. It’s so helpful💕

When you send high offers your not accounting for platform fees. How can you give 50% and then Posh fee at 20%. I’m sorry my items are not purchased for a $1. The culture that’s created is what is making reselling hard. We’re not Amazon or Macy’s and we all don’t get items for cheap.
Nope and nope. I don’t shop at the bins or get items for $1. My COG is $5-10. I like for $50 I can sell for 50% off and that’s $25. Poshmark takes 20% that’s $20 then shipping discount brings me to $18. So there still plenty of profit in there for me. I am a multiple six figure reseller and earn about $60K as a salary after paying a photographer, lister and storage unit. This works great for me. I don’t judge others for how they run their biz…. I share what I do as an option. Profit in realized when a sale is made. If you don’t sell it doesn’t matter what the potential profit is. Just my 2 cents.💕
The only way some one can possibly do that is if they are overpricing there items to begin with. I wouldn’t take that advice at all unless you want to be making pennies.

This is great because many times I’m selling items at full price, 20% off, 30% off,… And of course sometimes I do make the 50% off sales but because I price high I make more money on the ones that sell with the lower offers… 💕

Great question! So the goal is to sell things. So I don't really want likes or to send offers I want to sell. Ideally in a perfect world people would just buy it and that does happens sometimes. Then next best is people on PM are conditioned to get offers and send offers so they like and see what happens or they like because they want to go back to the item later like a bookmark. Then you can send offers to the likers and that is the next best option. Then you can keep sending offers to remind people about your item and the good deal if your price is high enough because you can send higher offers. If you only priced low you couldn't send multiple offers and you would miss the opportunity to get in front of the buyer over and over. I believe that multiple offers are more effective than price low and wait and see. There is a trade off but I believe worth it. This works for me and for many others that try it but it may not work for all if the items are not worth a higher price. The items have to have value for this to make sense.
@@RebeccaTheReseller just to clarify: as a newbie: is there a grear strategy for drumming up likes? IE: obvi getting products visible to ppl, ensuring proper presentation (pics/title/info( for best SEO, best keywords used etc etc)
But beyond that, with SALES as the agreed GOAL: Step 1 is to get products SEEN, Step 2 is to get Audience to LIKE, Step 3 is to be able to send smart OFFERS to LIKERS & use those steps w stragegies for SALES.
Can you do a video focused on those first STEPS? ..you've described the perfect listing and perfect keyword etc.
But is their any stratgey to drumming up product LIKES? as that is such a pivotal step in the chain, correct? (you cant send an offer strategy unless someone first LIKES the product, is that true??) OR are there other ways to send offers to perhaps your followers or even perhaps the people that you follow?
Is the only way to send those strategic offers to LIKERS? or can Poshmark offers be sent in others ways to work around that? IE, you mentioned periodic sales etc. etc. various other strategies, which I assume??? You are doing that to all of your followers, correct???
if so much is based on reacting to item LIKES, it might be EZ for an experienced Poshers w many followers, but how to drum those up if just starting?
(IE: Relisting items every (60?) days? sp they are more likely to show up in the SEO PM "Just In" category?)

I love your videos on the first steps (creating the perfect listing) and the last steps (perfect sale strategies for offers and other sales etc. etc. to be noticed)
But perhaps you could explore the middle pivotal section of getting buyers to actually notice your products and therefore having the opportunity to send those critical offers ....
to make the sale! #1 goal!
