Iv'e only seen a GT750 once back in 1977 and my Dad almost bought me a GT185. I really wanted a Yamaha RD250. I settled for 2nd hand Honda CB250G5. Best bikes back then.
Aah the stuff of dreams, the GT750 was one of my favourite bikes. I have never owned one, but I had a ride round the block on one way back in 1986. Thanks for posting this video, it has allowed me to experience what it must feel like to take a long ride out on the open road on one. Thanks.
Looks like another very nice old Suzuki GT750 its a shame though, that people insist on fitting these three into three exhaust systems. You just can't beat the original three into four stock pipes, both for looks, and the unique engine sound.
I own the 1970 version of that, which I confided the best onel, later years they took off the fan and rthe tank that had, access to the radiator cap,for easy service, and the exhaust pipe that could be serviced, the black caps came, off so you could clean the baffles inside, the only improvement in later years I likes were the disc, but the dual drums worked very well, what I would give to own another 1970,I miss it so much
They came out in '72. This does bring back memories. Bought mine new in '74. Mark Kelly above said slow for 750. She was built for cruising. Heavier everything. Put 3100 miles on a trip with two buddies out west in 2 weeks that summer. The only time I saw the water gauge ever move was Old Tuscon, two lane road, 120F, inching along for about 20 mins. My buddies 900 was probably being hurt. No fan on the rad. after '72.
A great bike. I owned a kettle in the 80s ..... wish it had been in the condition yours is in. However, rust was always a problem with Suzies from the AP50 and up in the 70s and 80s
I also owned a 1976 (GT750A) model in the same colour as the bike featured in this video, only mine wasn't quite as clean as this one & the rear spokes became loose after racing Yamaha RD350's all the time! LOL
Far from slow,i had a 1974 1,it did 79.ooo miles before crank shaft oil seals went, they are built to last, not like other 2 srokes ie low rev zone dus it easy, with out needing,a zilleion revs,,thy have 4 ,sroke and 2 sroke feel ,ie 66,torqe at3,5oo,revs,after all the miles i did gear box, and, clutch, mech still un worn, gear box oil 20.50,,,t.2 sroke oil,,dident need, fully ,or semi, syenthetic oil,,hold,70,miles,a,hour or 100,all day not needing 20,ooo reves,i had a,135,mph,on clock,,if you went into red zone ,on rev counter,,which is 7,ooo rev,s very, low compared ,to other 2 ,srokes that don,t last ,,from mr charlie dale.
Ok thats great now let me tell you that no one cares what you like. CB750's are fantastic but whats the point of commenting that? You didn't say you like one better, you just sound like you're 9.

I like the Hondas too but have you ever riden a 750.cc Suzuki three cyclinder water cooled it faster
Kell nekem egy ilyen!
Where do you get the parts for a complete restoration?
Try E-bay as most parts for bikes of this age are hard to find these days.
Yet another A model with a B tank Zzzzzzz
SuperChris0011 Get over yourself,it is a lovely machine in every way.
