There's something very enchanting about these original Spyro games. They make not have the top notch graphics of today but somehow the dialogue fits perfectly. I really disliked the Spyro series that came after this game. I wish somehow Insomniac could comeback and make more Spyro games like this one. I hate to sound like a nostalgic enamored 14 year old but the 90's era for video games really was great!
Watching this made me cry because it showed me how much i loved this game until lost it :( But i really loved this game with my life and i can never find it in shops anymore :'(
I finished Spyro 3 reignited yesterday and bawled my eyes out. Out of all 3 games, this ending was the one I completely forgot and I didn't know how much I forgot until I got to watch it in HD. Such a great end to a trilogy and an amazing experience.

This was the greatest ending ever i'v seen on spyro games. Well insoniac made the best spyro games. To bad they dont make um anymore. Well i liked the couple of hunter and bianca (i love that paring) I always use to like the elora and spyro paring but not much anymore, but it was ncie to see her, but this was the last we'd see of her. :( although she was a collectible card in spyro orange (spyro fusion) but still...good times good times. :)
The original epilogue for Ripto's Rage had a page that says, "Spyro misses his chance with Elora." Toys for Bob was more or less embracing that joke with their new interpretation.
Strangely one of my favorite video game endings, sure beats the hell out of the 100% ending which is very disappointing compared to the normal ending here.

@theirkeninvader tom kenny does half the voices in the game (including spyro himself), he's an amazing actor. also... what? he does spongebob? man, he's talented.
your best chances of getting this game is either ebay or somewhere like it eg. amazon play i dont think play sells it but you can try hope that helped.
Amen to that dude. I played 1, 2 and 3 too and I was going to play Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly for the PS2 and it was really not the same than the first 3 games... As you said, it just wasn't Spyro anymore. Too bad that from that point it went seriously downhill and Spyro is probably doomed to mediocricity forever.
Insomniac didn't sell mim off, he was already in Universals hands, yet they did say to universal that they wouldn't create any more games. I agree with danielallen.

Spyro was best for the ps1, I have a plushy of him and we always backtrack to our old adventures. We're trying to give the new/new-ish the benifit of the daout, but it's just making him up set. I the origanal will always be fave.

I've played some of the new ones, and they're okay. But 1 - 3 are certainly the best, and it's not just because of nostalgia, I honestly believe they were better games. I played a heroes tale, and they completely ruined the whole go to home world, then go to portals system and changed many things that the original success was based upon.

dawn of the dragon is good its just nothing compared to the first 3 which I rank the first 3 all in my top 10 games of all time, with spyro 4 being in the top 20 at least
