It's going to be Ocarina of Time remastered in Super Mario 3D All Stars 40th anniversary edition with all remasters including 64 Sunshine Galaxy 1 and 2 3D World and Bowser's Fury Deluxe. We will get a brand new 3D Mario next year
I do think 3d all stars will get a rerelease for switch 2 but I don’t think 3d world and bowser’s fury would be added. Actually I think bowser’s fury could have a sequel or full game in that rerelease or something separate. Instead I think they’d add 64 ds and 3d land to the collection and not just galaxy 2
I don’t think a BotW remaster would sell that well. It was already such a huge selling game so everyone who is interested in playing such a game has most probably already played it and I don’t think they want to buy it again just because it happens to be in 4k. I also lean towards the possibility that we could see several remasters and remakes. We could see one every year up until the next mainline zelda game. OoT is a given I think. I really think Nintendo is planning on that and will have it ready pretty soon. It’s a classic and they haven’t done much with it. They haven’t really revisited it at all and it would be weird if they never did. I think now is the time for a full blown remake in all its glory.

I think its pretty much guaranteed that Mario Kart 9 will be there at launch. Its the first game they showed off Its also a great multiplayer option to get people playing together right off the bat It'd be cool if it also had a single player adventure mode

I’ve had a switch for a good while and I’ve never gotten Zelda BOTW until recently. A week later switch 2 gets announced so I’m probably going to wait to play it until the switch 2 gets released lol
At this point I’d be open to ANY of these things happening lol. Obviously I’ve got my preferences (open-zone Mario, TP remaster/overhaul, OoT remake, BOTW remaster/definitive edition for starters), but if literally any of these things Mario AND Zelda happen this year, I’d call it a major win.
I agree I believe the switch 2 remaster of BOTW would add new content such as a depths map accessed by 2 chasms in the Gerudo region, new shiekah tech including shrines, divine beasts, guardians models, and more which are mostly in the depths, new monsters and bosses, and new cutscenes and memories
I wouldn't expect that much, to be honest. Maybe some Easter eggs here and there. Maybe some useless new armor set(s) but... Now, maybe some small depths area located through the "bottomless" pit at the Yiga headquarters would be something they would give us. Maybe a chest down there. Don't know how we'd get back up without a ladder. I'll be happy with a remastering though. I haven't played the game a long time so I could definitely go for another 50 hours of it with better FPS and visuals. I'm still taking my sweet time in ToTK on my way to 100 percent though, so I would love an performance and quality upgrade for *it.*
In my personal opinion, I played the 3-D Mario game the one with Bowser fury and I had a good time with it but the only thing I would say they need to work on with that game is a better range on seeing how Mario jumps because when I fought enemies and I want to jump on them, I was off by like a few meter. I was off by a little bit, so maybe they could approve on seeing where exactly we’re about to jump and land

I really hope wind waker and maybe Twilight princess are ports this time. We clamored a long time for wind waker and Twilight princess hd. Wind waker is perfect for switch 1 and being sat on. Other ports id like are the 3d port of Ocarina and majors mask with a few improvements. The big remake for switch2 should be a remake of Ocarina for next year. Played 45 minutes of FF7 Rebirth on my Steam Deck and some shader issues and the occasional stutter in the cutscenes. But extremely playable. It does play at 30 fps at most. And expect downgraded graphics similar to the PS4’s version of FF7 Remake which was locked at 30 fps. This is pretty much what Switch 2 owners should expect next year when Rebirth comes out for them. Do not expect it to look as good as the PS5 Pro or higher end PC. And forget even the base PS5. But I was quite a bit surprised it could even play on my Steam Deck and at a fairly stable 30 fps. Remake could run at a minimum of 45 fps with moments at 60. I believe this is great news for Switch 2 owners. If you’ve only been a Nintendo owner, thinks Luigi’s Mansion 3 is one of the best looking games on the Switch 1, and can tolerate the stutters in Tears of the Kingdom, downgraded graphics of FF7 Remake and Rebirth should still impress you. The spirits of the Xbone and PS4 lives on in the Deck and Switch 2. Hopefully, by the time the Switch 2’s version of FF7 Rebirth comes out next year, all the shader issues and slight stuttering should be patched by then. And the Switch 2 version will probably have longer battery life since it’s better optimized for that hardware. Not complaining with FF7 Rebirth on the Deck. At least I can play it now.
If TP comes to switch 2 i am going feral and buying it for all my friends who GET the switch 2 because i know i am :) i still own my WII in order to play TP!
First year they will remake some games from the Wii U era. Breath of the Wild, Xenoblade chronicles X, Splatoon, and Starfox zero will all get remakes for switch 2.

Remaster BOTW do not makes sense with all of those backward compatibility. But I can expect BOTW run better on Switch 2. Nintendo should remaster Ocarina of Time or older game.

I own every Retro Nintendo console from the NES up to the DS XL. I skipped the WiiU and the Switch because they seemed weak to me, and I was waiting for Nintendo to bring out a better console. I didn't like what the WiiU and Switch were offering, not to mention I saw their struggles. Switch 2 looks promising, like it has what it takes to bring many of Nintendo titles back to life, even though I have to admit the Switch 2 also makes me a bit nervous because I did see how badly Switch games were struggling. With that said, I'm thinking I might pick it up because I can't pass on Metroid Prime 4. And it Nintendo does bring out a remake on OOT, I can't pass on that either. I don't care much about 3rd party support. That's what my Xbox is for. But I do hope Nintendo does bring back many of their old games back to life.
I dont have high hopes on any launch games being worth anything. The Switch 1 Launch games sucked so why will The Switch 2 be any different? Not everyone plays Mario or Zelda nor cares. I wouldn’t call Ocarina 3D a remaster. Every asset in that game was remade from scratch. They kept the game 1:1 but it was still a full remake.

The spirits of the Xbone and PS4 lives on in the Deck and Switch 2.
Hopefully, by the time the Switch 2’s version of FF7 Rebirth comes out next year, all the shader issues and slight stuttering should be patched by then. And the Switch 2 version will probably have longer battery life since it’s better optimized for that hardware. Not complaining with FF7 Rebirth on the Deck. At least I can play it now.

First year they will remake some games from the Wii U era. Breath of the Wild, Xenoblade chronicles X, Splatoon, and Starfox zero will all get remakes for switch 2.
People are reading way too much into this. Whoever put up that listing has obviously been paying attention to rumors as much as we have. Nothing to see here.

Remaster BOTW do not makes sense with all of those backward compatibility. But I can expect BOTW run better on Switch 2. Nintendo should remaster Ocarina of Time or older game.
I think the switch cartridges would still run the same if they’re put in the switch 2 just like how the Wii discs still ran the same in the Wii U

"legendary" games like these should be always available to play on the console that are exclusives otherwise why make them exclusives....like for sony with Ratchet and Clank trilogy,jak and dexter,sly GoW c'mon man u need at least a remaster and do it just one time and u got ICONIC games always aailable for that console...
Wind Waker 2?
I own every Retro Nintendo console from the NES up to the DS XL. I skipped the WiiU and the Switch because they seemed weak to me, and I was waiting for Nintendo to bring out a better console. I didn't like what the WiiU and Switch were offering, not to mention I saw their struggles. Switch 2 looks promising, like it has what it takes to bring many of Nintendo titles back to life, even though I have to admit the Switch 2 also makes me a bit nervous because I did see how badly Switch games were struggling.
With that said, I'm thinking I might pick it up because I can't pass on Metroid Prime 4. And it Nintendo does bring out a remake on OOT, I can't pass on that either.
I don't care much about 3rd party support. That's what my Xbox is for. But I do hope Nintendo does bring back many of their old games back to life.
I dont have high hopes on any launch games being worth anything. The Switch 1 Launch games sucked so why will The Switch 2 be any different? Not everyone plays Mario or Zelda nor cares. Never played them and never intend too. I only play the Mario RPGS and thats only because tis an RPG. Never played the non RPG crap. They don't supply for everyone's tastes. The online still sucks
