Have the 600 on 180 invert tank with soft corals. The PSK 1000 pump is legendary from how many skimmers have used that through the years and a brut. Great video...

if you push from the bottom on the neck scraping tool it is MUCH easier to remove the cap off of the cup, also, the cup is much easier to remove if you rock it back and forth...

Nice job cleaning all that yucky green stuff and not once did say eww it stinks!🤣 that's a great looking skimmer and I agree you have to clean your equipment real good so it works good and last ,cause they ain't cheap! I do the same with my filters on my planted tanks, those baby snails get right in the places that are important with freshwater also🤔 Thanks guys!💜💜 ✌🌿😊

Really? You might want to reach out to Red Sea or your place of purchase, it should be virtually silent
Yeah they are known to be one of the noisier skimmers, get a Great white or Deltec if you want something quiet :)

Hey, me and my husband dunno which skimmer to buy for our new Red Sea Peninsula Reefer 500... should i go with red sea skimmer as well? Worth the investment? Thanks guys :)
We feel it’s pretty great, best one we’ve had for ease of use and cleaning. Definitely recommended!
I know it's been about a year but if you did get the red sea skimmer I'm sorry and hopefully everything went well, I'd recommend any of the DC skimmers on the market, my personal favourites are Great white and Deltec.

Hey Guy's, do you think the RSK-600 is too much for a 90 gallon with maybe 30 gallon sump?
I would say that would be alright... check the Red Sea website, they have a table with which size goes with which tank 😊

I love mine too got.mine from Aquaristic the day they came out. Cleaned it a week ago and i did find 2 snails trying to get in the impella but serviced and cleaned and its always amazing

@@TwoGayReefers My RSK 600 - Neck is tight too. This skimmer is the "beast" for my sps tank (600l), not too laud and very cheap. Better than skimmer from China for 100%...
