Just sent some money your way my friend. Thank you for taking the effort in asking for help. I know it isn’t easy, but I think many of us appreciate the opportunity to help any way we can. Your positivity and love for reading is very inspirational… now go beat the hell out of that cancer!!
I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with all of this, Randy, but your attitude is inspirational. I’m giving what I can and sending you all good thoughts for your continued healing and recovery. ❤
Thanks, Jim. I'm hoping to be able to post videos more consistently moving forward, but it's tough. I'd rather not post a video at all than post one when I have the personality of a soggy piece of toast, which happens more often than you might think.
Randy, as a fellow traveler also with multiple myeloma, I have some idea what you're going through. Treatment is incredibly expensive. I'm blessed my wife has good health insurance (for the time being). We were both in agreement that we wanted to make a donation and hope it helps, financially but also to let you know you are well thought of. We're rooting for you (& me). Stay positive (& sexy!). Warm regards, Ken & Melissa Yott.❤
Omg, it is so comforting just to know someone else has gone through this so hugely helpful. I have health insurance through the market place, but I'm so grateful to even have that available to me. Thank you again, so much!
@@LiterateTexan I’m so glad it helps, Randy. I’m just returning the favor because your videos have helped me (especially when I’m not feeling great). Yes, they are informative & entertaining, but they are comforting to me in a way I cannot easily explain. It may be your warm, engaging personality (that and you remind of my eldest brother) and you share your name with another brother (LOL). Or it might be because you feel like a friend. P.S. That Dexamethasome is something, isn’t it? 😂
@kenyotta67 The Dexamethasone is crazy. It makes me really emotional. I spent a couple of hours crying this afternoon because I hurt a friend's feelings last week. This whole experience has been unlike anything else I've experienced in my life. Your kind words have made this entire week so much better already.
You've really been through the wringer! Thanks for telling us your situation. I didn't hear about the earlier GoFundMe... but I'm happy to donate and so grateful your doctor believes you're going to recover. I used to do the same kind of business, by the way.
@@LiterateTexan I understand how hard that was to do but believe me, the rest of us are thinking about how lucky we are we don't have your diagnosis. It could happen to any of us and a few months without income is a disaster!! I can't do much to help, but every little bit helps.
I hope you are feeling well. I haven't given before but will do now. The reason I avoided the video before is that I get annoyed with Gofundme's. So many Americans are making fun and telling incorrect horror stories about European healthcare systems. And esp. about the Dutch system because of euthanasia without looking at what it really is. But when Americans get sick they do ask for our money. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings with this. I just hope that Americans reading this and giving money to Gofundsme's will think about way's to make them obsolete. Or at least thing again before they trash on someone else's ways of living.
You're very kind, and I'm grateful. I wish we had a better set of social programs in the United States, especially as it relates to health, but we just don't. I'm grateful for your help and your thoughtful comment.
@@LiterateTexan Thank you for your kind answer. I shouldn't have bothered you with it. It's not like you have more important things on your mind. But withing you all the best. And I hope you get a bit more energy in the next few weeks.
@maewyn01 I get much enjoy answering questions of any kind, even though I wonder if any of my answers make sense any more. I'm grateful for your comments here.

I somehow missed that earlier GoFundMe video. I’ll contribute what I can. Wishing you the best, Randy!
You know, I just posted the link on my wall and never made a video for you to miss.
Hang in there! ❤ I’m praying for a full recovery for you and looking forward to more videos about books!
Randy, hang in there and keep fighting! 💛💛💛
Thank you so much!

@@LiterateTexan You’re a star in my eyes, Randy. Sending you all good wishes always.🥰
Rooting for you, mate!
Thank you, sir!
Glad to call you a friend, Randy 🎸
I'm lucky to have friends like you.
Donated and wishing you all the best!
You're very kind, and I'm beyond grateful
I'll be keeping you in my prayers and I hope you get out of this pickle!
Thanks so much. I need all the prayers I can get.
Hey, Randy! I'm glad the treatments are going well and that you're staying positive. It just gets better from here. Good to see you!

I understand that completely, Randy.

@@Eldertalk Your words of encouragement are a huge help, more than you know.
How you stay this positive (and energetic in your bookshelf tour) certainly flabbers my gast. Good to hear from you.
That's very kind. I just feel lucky every day, even when I'm physically not at my best.
Happy to contribute. I wish the best for you.

Glad to hear that you're getting through it and feeling optimistic Randy. Thinking good thoughts for you
Thank you, James
