WHAT?????? I don't know what is a bigger crime: Underrating the guitar talents of Warren Demartini or having Kurt Cobain ranked higher than him. The late Robbin Crosby would have something to say about that.
M MH yeah. That's one song that he didn't even play towards the end of his career so I'm sure he would agree with you. So one song discredits his entire catalog? That's just asinine.
ao el I’m not sure whether he played it not towards the end of his career matters. It was a straight up rip off off that riff I’m sure at that point he was pretty much sick of playing it. I definitely disagree with your statement that anyone with practice can play like demartini. I will agree by that time that type of rock needed to die when it did. It had become a parody of itself but Cobain was no great guitar player by any stretch. And frankly the entire grunge thing became as derivative or even more so than the so-called hair metal era. My opinion
Your dad must be about my age. I freaked when this album came out. I was sixteen and already had all of their earlier albums. Still think it's their best album and this is the best song off their best album in my opinion. 7th Avenue is another great song in fact I think it may have inspired Steve Vai in his song "The Animal" off of Passion & Warfare (I hear a lot of similarity). I have held that guitar in my hands, I almost cried. I was working for TSA at Bob Hope airport & working in the over sized bags area where we got lots of golf clubs and guitars. I had no idea who's guitar it was but when I opened the case and saw the guitar I almost shit my pants, then I looked at the PAX tag - it said "Warren Di Martini", I freaked; stepped out of the screening area looking for him but never saw him. I very carefully screened his guitar and sent it on it's way. Had to do my job. It was the very same snakeskin guitar you see in this video.
Met him a few years back. Super nice guy. They were playing a club in Bay City Michigan. Pearcy was gone. Jizzy Pearl was fronting the band. Hmmm. Tough. Sound of the 80s would probably be a combination of Michael Jackson, a dash of A Flock Of Seagulls and a touch of Poison. lol. But Ratt has to be the best of the LA metal scene. You can thank Warren DeMartini for that signature sound. He and Robin Crosby together were such a great duo.
@Ayan Majumdar How do I say this... "You listen to what the publishers give you." It's not demand driven. It's supply driven and tweaked to integrate demand.
A lot of my favorite music from that time came from sitting in the back of my older brothers first car, getting blasted by Crue, Def Leppard, Van Halen etc. Good times. But Ratt was one I found myself.
When I first heard this song, I was in the Middle East. I just couldn't stop listening to it, I loved it so much. It's probably my favorite Ratt song. It was months till I saw, the music video. When I did, I loved the song even more, because of all the beautiful ladies in the video.
I wanted to open up a clothing store called "Way Cool Juniors" back in the eighties. Still would make a cool name for a clothing store that sells junior sizes.
Ratt is my favorite out of that whole 80's glam metal/LA rock/hair band, whatever you want to call it era. The fact is they sounded good and were good musicians too. They stood out from the rest.

Love that woman with that back guitar.
Ava Fabian.Spilled a lot of adolescent seed to her!😁
Probably the best ending of any Ratt song.
What a dobro man!
Im in love with the girl at 1:40 best looking in the video
Greatest outro in the history of rock and roll video's!!!
RATT is without a doubt the sound of the 80s
I like RATT, but that's going a bit far
@@eq1373 OH YEAH?!
Hmmm.
I'd say they tied for the best with plenty of other bands. Remember we had Van Halen, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, and a handful of others.
Lots of things are the sound of the eighties
Motley Crue and RATT best bands glam rock in galaxy
Winger, Skid Row.
B J you know it
Agreed. My 2 favorite groups.
Crue Ratt and skid row
@@ramongarciagamez8773 Agreed 100% i love LOVE MOTLEY CRUE AND RATT, best bands ever. my two favorite
I miss the 80's, they were great!
❤Happy Birthday Warren De Martini❤Great guitar player❤
1980 through 1993, yes great music!!!

I love it too!Let's get some more hits for the great Fucking song!Read my above comment!
The small guitar parts deep in the mix are so good!
This song had good rotation on KNAC. Remember 105.5 in Southern California? God I miss that station!!
Probably my favorite RATT tune - and the eye candy 'taint bad either!
It's nice to see this video again on youtube.. Thanks Rhino for upload it! Ratt & Roll Forever!!!!!
Francisco Geovanny WAY COOL is a favorite word some more
Ratt & Roll baby 🎸🎶🎵🤘
"Lol". ... I still got the crazy hair. All the ones in the era with me look "let go"...😆
God I miss when this music was fresh AF. Remember hearing these tracks for the first time? And they gave us GRUNGE to replace this? GMAB.
@Ayan Majumdar How do I say this... "You listen to what the publishers give you." It's not demand driven. It's supply driven and tweaked to integrate demand.
Underrated 80's band love Ratt love Stephen Pearcy these songs still kick asssss
Oh man the memories ❤ the best times of my life!
A lot of my favorite music from that time came from sitting in the back of my older brothers first car, getting blasted by Crue, Def Leppard, Van Halen etc. Good times. But Ratt was one I found myself.
Women. Rock and roll. And drugs. Let's talk 80s GOD I MISS THE 80S
Oooooooohhhhhhhh yyyyyyyyeeeeeeaaaaahhhhhh

Ratt & Roll at it's finest!!
Awesome! Thanks Rhino for another great song & video.
God bless robin Crosby
Spencer Spencer RIP
He was a good dude, I remember him for that
The King indeed. RIP.
When I first heard this song, I was in the Middle East. I just couldn't stop listening to it, I loved it so much. It's probably my favorite Ratt song. It was months till I saw, the music video. When I did, I loved the song even more, because of all the beautiful ladies in the video.
One of the best concerts I saw as a kid. Would love to see a reunion of all the surviving members.
Wudda loved that! (I know a Jonny P. from Osky)
I remember this song for two reasons, it was a cool song, but more so for the "Glance", and that 35 second stroll right at the end..."
In the 80 s chics cared about their appearance. Loved living thru it all, the excess of it all. The rock, the TV shows and the movies.
I wanted to open up a clothing store called "Way Cool Juniors" back in the eighties. Still would make a cool name for a clothing store that sells junior sizes.
Metal chic
Do it. Nothing stopping you other than you.
80’s were the best time of my life! My man cave is retro 80’s ….. the music has no equal…… the hair bands kicked ass
Ratt is my favorite out of that whole 80's glam metal/LA rock/hair band, whatever you want to call it era. The fact is they sounded good and were good musicians too. They stood out from the rest.
Tie between ratt and dokken for me
