Glad I found your video. my daughter has shoulder length hair that she wants out for the first day of school but I could not think of any styling options that would look cute with her natural being left out from the beginning of the day until the end. with these styles she'll still look cute by the time she's getting off the bus! I agree. I wrote an article on my blog about how we kill our natural exotic beauty to live up to the blonde-haired, blue-eyed European standard of beauty. I wish more Black women and minority women as a whole would embrace the unique beauty each of our races have.
After you put your hair in the 'fro hawk you can wrap a scarf around the sides to smooth them down. Make sure you apply a pomade or gel on the sides first. This should create a really neat look.
