I have dead straight, fine but thick hair that reaches the top of my backside. I truly love watching channels like yours because I’m interested in becoming a foster mom when I retire from trucking, and I want to be able to care properly for any child that walks in my door! I absolutely refuse to make a child go through what I did when I was in care at age 7 and the family I was with cut my hair off because I ‘didn’t know how to brush it.’

Ever since I picked up on the fact, that black women who display their straight shiny hair( famous people like Naomi Campbell and other famous actresses) might not always have natural straight hair like that but wear wigs or weaves, I got really interested in black hair and how it can be styled. This channel renders some answers and is just mesmerising. While I also appreciate healthy curls I am in awe of your dedication to give your customers such shiny straight hair as well if they ask for it. Looks gorgeous!

Kee, I just have to say that you, and the ladies of Curvy Brides Boutique, are some of the most uplifting and encouraging stylists on UA-cam. I love your quotes to open each video, and the fact that never ONCE do you call out a customer for what they did to their hair. Instead, you point out times in your own past you did the same thing because you were either young, or didn't know then what you know now. You allow people to make mistakes, to come in feeling insecure and assure them that they will walk out feeling confident and comfortable in their own hair. Even if it takes more than one visit, you won't give up on them!

Back when I was relaxed, I had the same exact breakage in the back of my head. It looked like I shaved it, but I didn't. And it was about the same height as her's too. I believe the breakage was caused by wrapping it and putting my scarf on, but it was probably the way I was tying my scarf that created that breakage. Now I'm all natural. Most of the time I have my hair in a protective style which is cornrows under my wig. But what I do different now is, that back section that used to be broken off, I separate that part first, and braid it to the side. Then I just braid the rest of my hair going straight to the back. Best decision I ever made.

I've never been to a hair stylist in my 30 years of life put of fear of judgment. I guess I'm doing pretty well for myself as I have had many women ask about how I get my hair so long, but I know it could be better. I had terrible interactions with black women when I was younger in regards to my hair after going to a hair care class with my lovely mother (I'm adopted and she is white) and never wanted to go near a stylist ever again due to their snide remarks.
