    Baking Polymer Clay:
UK instructions for baking- it's all in Celsius not Fahrenheit, which is why I don't always quote times & temperatures. I recommend using Polymer Clay packet instructions. However a good tip is to bake no higher than 100 degrees Celsius. It's better to bake at a lower temperature for longer, than higher for shorter.
Larger clay items need longer- always check after 10 mins- sometimes things fall over in the oven & can be rescued at this point. Watch for burning! Especially white as it's quick to burn (don't know why...) and can turn yellow!
Once out of the oven wait for it to cool before thinking it's baked- if it feels soft to touch, you can poke a finger nail in it or a finger print, back in the oven it goes!
Electric ovens work better as the temperature is even, gas oven temperatures fluctuate do not keep a steady temp for baking polymer clay.

Hi Gail, so nice to have another tutorial from you. I really like this one. I love how you made the flowers and the vines over the door so effective. When you were chopping up the green, I thought it was for moss but it looks fabulous as foliage on the vines. Also, like looking at your technique for using the pastel powders to add texture and shading. Thanks again girl you’ve done it again!

Aww thanks 😊 I enjoyed this one. The window decoration was tricky! I like making bigger projects, but smaller ones are quicker! Chopping up clay and making it look like foliage is such an easy way to do it! Love what soft pastels can do & you don't need much either, I used to use mica for everything, but it makes it all sparkly & too bling 😆 thanks for watching Ellie ❤️

Got to love your train of thought, it’s always a holiday in traveling, never know what you bring to us, but you know it will be good. Like this little door super cute, and I’m so glad your getting you mojo back in the direction you want it. Love it. Tfs hugs from California. ❤😊

Aww thank you Karen! I do have a lot of artistic ideas all of the time, I have to write lists haha. This one had been on my list for a while. I'm working on the mojo. Good & bad days, time will heal. I'm just happy to be creating again - thanks for watching! 🥰
