The drawer fronts are awesome! I only noticed the grain pattern as you were installing them. So cool. I hope you'll continue to film, edit and share your construction, gardening, sawmilling and other efforts with us. Your internet presence is enjoyed!
Greetings from Colorado. Welcome back. Pleasant surprise this Sunday morning. You have built a fine home and we have had a great time watching you. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this wonderful home with us. We will be gladly standing by, just waiting for any future surprise projects you share with us.
Your build..from a concrete crib..to this most excellent bit..BRAVO PILGRIM...SUCCESS VIA FASTIDIOUS ENERGETIC FURY AND GREAT EFFORT..YEARS IN THE MAKI G..AND ITS JUST NOW YOUR HOME.. HURRAY FOR YOU
Bus..........You HAVE to find another project......You have a talent for creating content that draws viewers in....Not to mention your talent for building and woodworking. We don't want to lose you when this project is finished. I do not understand why you don't have a massive number of subscribers yet, but you deserve them Hang in there buddy
I enjoyed watching the video. It was your usual quality craftmanship. It was a great pantry design as far as function and beauty. I'm so happy you are enjoying the fruits of your labor. I hope you will be showing us what you are planning for the outside in the spring, as far as gardening and landscaping projects. I know it will be beautiful because you have such a love for nature and the wonder of the land. I hope you will explore some inlaid pulls for the drawers and avoid just having holes. Thank you.
I have been a cabinetmaker most of my working years. I love working with ash. And for the most part I feel like hardware takes away. I made my last pulls for myself. If I can get away with it I really like holes for the anti-hardware.
Yes, and thats what i did just yesterday, slightly more than half holes at the top, entered, 1" 5/8 hole saw and rounded corners. I love it. Thanks for the kind words.
Finishing feels good. Completely finishing will be even more amazing. Do some fun stuff outside like getting set up for syrup time. A pizza oven outside would be so fun for you to make and use all year long. I am sure you two have plenty planned but if you run out of ideas, just saying your audience would be glad to help.. 👼😄
Yes! Syrup season draws near, and eventually I will have a small timber frame for that process, but not this year. but it will be boiling down here! Thanks for the kind words
Another excellent job. Have enjoyed your house building journey greatly. Now just have to get on with building my own timber framed house. Hope you will be continuing to post, could i suggest a new project maybe a wooden sailing boat. Have been watching Two blokes build a boat. Sort of shed build cross last of the summer wine( bbc comedy series). No ply wood to be seen. Just an ideal .
We bought some metal "edge pull" handles that kinda hide the handles on top of the cabinets under our apron front sink and love them. Wonder if you could do something like that for the drawers out of scrap wood? And are those bird perches? Too cute!
Can’t believe it’s season 9!! Great work. It must be amazing to finally be living comfortably in the beautiful home you have pit so much hard work and effort into.
a greenhouse/ arboretum built from trees! That would keep you busy. I think Maine has a strong green house culture, right? Yeah, new content... a greenhouse built from trees.

The cats watching the birds was the most perfect shot ever.

Endless entertainment for the kitties watching the birds 😂

Thank you sir.
House is looking great!
Thank you very much
gawd what a pleasure it must be to be able to keep adding things from wood you milled yourself. :D
Oh, it is glorious. Though I have used some wood that was wetter than i thought and it shrank a bit on the first night inside.
A happy surprise this morning….have missed the videos. Wonderful pantry, good job! Look forward to more.
Thank you!
Looking great. I think you need to inlay some finger pulls for the drawers.
Made some hole pulls. Thanks a lot!
