The perseverance of Sisyphus…love the little trick camera work scattered throughout. What a great summary of your many year effort to build the fantastic house you now live in. Nothing stopped you from finishing the job you started…. Setbacks, aches and pains, broken foot and lots more. Sisyphus indeed. So proud.💕
Yes, I can remember when it was only a house from plastic.. Have watched since day 1 and have enjoyed the recap of all your work. Peter Wollongong, Australia.
I watched everything from the time you first started publishing. You sir are part of our family. The most memorable thing you came up with (so many) but the one the kids and I still repeat about 100 times a year (each) "this guy". If you have no idea what I am talking about, you obviously did not watch all the best videos ever! One day we are coming to visit. Thank you for the so much entertaining stuff.
I have been with you the entire journey! You got me through a shoulder replacement and then a 12 level back fusion and your videos made those recoveries more enjoyable for sure! I hope you come up with a new project! Thanks Chris
Bus, thanks for the recap of your house build. I am certain you have impressed many folks with your desire to do many things to make progress on your huge project. Merry Christmas and many blessings to you.
Very impressed with your house and what it took to build...very few people are remotely capable of such a feat and have the skills to pull it off. Congrats!
Even though I’ve watched all your episodes, this was great to watch. It’s amazing to see it again, I’ve forgotten how hard and brutal most of it was, also nice to see you in it now all comfy!
Merry Christmas Sir This was a great recap . I followed you from the beginning and this was great seeing your skills in woodworking and filming progress. Watching the evolution of Men and Machines !! Thank you for this and looking forward to the next one . Cheers from Montana .
So ironic you posted this video. Over the last several months I’ve been re-watching all of your seasons of your building a house from trees. Mostly for educational purposes for the most part. Now that I have an LT15 sawmill I’m always looking for tips on how to mill logs, make dowel pins for timber framing and on making wood sealer using pine tar and linseed oil. Another reason is I sure miss your videos
I can’t believe it was that long ago that you stated, I couldn’t wait for your weekly video releases, such a cool project great to see it only your carpenter skills but your videography skills improve over the series. What’s next? Building a garage from trees?
It has been two years since my oldest son passed away from an upper respiratory infection, a cyst in his stomach preventing food from being digested. he would eat a meal and just a few minutes later he would be in the bathroom throwing it back up. then last year we lost both of our miniature longhair dachshunds. Sugarfoot was our female and was 13 years old when she passed away in her sleep on May 31,2023. Then in Dec, we lost our male Gunner's Coal when he passed away in the early morning hours of the 16th. On a brighter note my two oldest grandsons went into the military. Kaleb the oldest went into the US Navy. Tyler went into Marines and will be studying cyber security.

Thanks Bus, great memories captured, nice to see Bobo, proud of your accomplishments. Take care friend.
Great to see the modern context shots! That mallet has seen some use! And to see the lovely Bo-bo again...

Thank you Bus! Merry Christmas! I have watched from the very beginning and it has been a wonderful gift you have given all of us.
I’ve watched every episode from when you started doing the ground work to Build the house
That was awesome. Great work. I assume Oxford County has no issue with using your timber from the property to build.
An absolute pleasure even if it has been a year. I hope all is well behind the camera.
Merry christmas from northern Wisconsin.
A true miracle for the season!
Best present this Christmas. Thank you, Bus.
