Nice work, I also had bcm water ingress last week. Tails and drl came on by itself. And thén keyfob antenna stopped working😅. Luckily I had a spare bcm laying around.
Hello! On 2006 VW Golf 5 SDI, Front parking lights stopped working , VCDS controller 09 cent. elec. no errors! checked with meter the output from J519 - 0 volts on the pins for Left and Right bulbs. All other lights work ok, both front and back. For example tested front low beam light pin output (tested from J519 to vehicle chassis ground) 3v when on. 0 when off. Does this mean I should check the PCB of J519 for burnings in driver ? My J519 is revision D (pretty old)
@@PORepair I look at schematics from ELSA win, I see on each side the parking light bulb shares the ground with High Beam and they go to ground point in engine bay. The other side of wiring to the bulb goes to J519 and connection is also called (for left side) "Positive connection (58L), in interior wiring harness"
What was the issue with lights ? I have Bixenon lights on Passat B6,and changed xenon ballast,changed new original bulbs,checked the wiring,but both front lights are still not working,could it be this BCM that is causing problems ?

hi, i cant remember now, but need to check how it controls bulbs, or bulbs have always 12v, and j519 gives ground (0v) then bulb activated.
