Well this was soul shattering. Melissa Benoist does so well with acting sad and despondent. Almost too well because I honestly cannot handle how sad and lost Kara has become this past few episodes. It just hurts to see everyone pulling away from her. I hope they fix this so Kara can go back to being all smiley and sunshiny.
Melissa does an amazing job and capturing all of Kara's emotions. I know what you mean at the moment it feels like everyone is just doing their own thing and Kara is beginning to feel lonely. I think it's a good character arc (from a fan editing point of view) but I'd like to see the return of a lighter/happier Kara too.
It goes to show you how amazing Melissa is as an actress, as Kara, that she can convey all the pain, the anguish, the sadness and anger that are as much a part of Kara as her happiness,her joy and her hope are. I believe Melissa was made to be Supergirl.
Thanks for making this. Melissa is a great actress, and singer too. I hate people always saying she cannot act/bad acting. Clearly they didn't watch those emotional scene of her.
