Damn, he was my 3rd favorite warlord and in my head canon moria might have been storng as law may be even stronger, but beast pirates are known to use weapons like poison gas, and virus
@@christopher4684 I mentioned it the other day but I love it when people like a lot of niche characters. I’m not sure what the rest of the beast pirates would have used (like your saying I can definitely see them using underhanded tactics, I do think he probably just got bodied by Kaido though, we see them clashing and I just can’t see him doing much to Kaido, having said that, not many people can 😂 Who was your favourite Warlord ?
@@jackcypher7474 jinbe, kuma, moria, Hawkeye, boa and so on. In my head canon Moria might have had a huge crew maybe when as big as the star hat grand fleet, moria, and his main crew were buffed by the shadows of the other members, and the rest even without their shadows could fight fodder, Moria might have put up a fight with Kaido using shadows asgard but as soon has the bio weapons were used and his crew started to die Moria lost his strength because the shadows can't exist with out the owners being alive. Maybe absolom saved Moria just like in the Marineford war.
@@christopher4684 Definitely like the thought of it all. I could be wrong but I don’t think Absalom would have saved him because it was mentioned his whole crew dies and then he recruited the mysterious 3. Either way I’d love to see a Moria backstory where that battle is included so we can see what happened! And get more of a look at what Moria was like back then !

@@jackcypher7474 if you have noticed something about moria crew, absolom looks just like the beast pirates, oras is an Oni like Kaido, He stole the The sword God Ryuma who slade a dragon, he also stole former crewmate of Kaido from the Rox pirates, the rest of his Crew are undead because he doesn't want to lose any more people he cared about, Perona Devil fruit help fight by staying hidden and with negative hollow they could feel the same dispare Moria felt. Moria wasn't scared of the other warlords or Luffy because Moria was stronger in the past to be able to Fight a Yonko crew, thou the current Him is a lot weaker then he used be in Moria head he believes he was strong as he used to be.
@@christopher4684 Na that’s a really good observation man, the mysterious threes powers being things to help them escape death is a nice touch. How strong was Moria back then is just totally unquantifiable which is really annoying. We know Kaido didn’t think much of him because he’s not included in the images in kaidos head about all the strong people he’s fought. at the very most you could potentially say he’s was as strong as Kid, but that’s just a wild high ball speculation that probably does a disservice to kid. It’s so annoying that we don’t know more but I’m loving the sound of all this Moria love !
He really is a tragic character, maybe not my favorite but I always liked him. I never thought about why he has a zombie crew and just assumed he had a zombie crew when he attacked Kaido in the first place. I would love to see him fit and trained up, ready for combat. His power is crazy, I can't imagined what he would be capable of if it was awakened. I bet if a person has powerful haki, he can't pick up their shadow though.
I don't remember clearly, but did Absolm die? I thought they stripped him of powers and released him.
@@Drucifer-1988 Your definitely right about the Kage Kage no mi not working on someone like Kaido, to be fair though not many powers would. As for Absalom I’m pretty sure it’s stated that stealing a devil fruit kills the user, I’ll have to fact check that later though. I didn’t go into the video expecting much from him but was heavily surprised with just how in depth and complex his character actually was.

@@Drucifer-1988 I actually haven’t heard that one, that would be hype 😂 But I agree Mihawk would be in that upper tier echelon for me as well.
@@jackcypher7474 yeah the theory is that he is the spirit of the black blade, and it’s so strong that it manifested into a person, probably resembling the guy that forged it. Who ever can defeat him can use the black blade. Another theory following it is that he was in shanks crew, believing shanks might eventually defeat him. Until he lost his arm of course.
Also lends reason to train zoro to eventually defeat himself.
