- Here's a question I get asked a lot. When would you use Premiere Rush over Premiere Pro and vice versa. Well, here are some quick tips on the differences between the two, what you can do in one versus the other and some workflows that can enhance your productivity.

Thank you 🙏
Very helpful video! Thank you, Chris!
No worries @AlwaysArianne thanks for watching 😊
Great video thanks - One Question? Are you limited to how many time lines you can have in Rush?
Hey Matt, thank you, so by lines I think you’re referring to tracks, you can drag videos above the initial track and it’ll create a new track and you can do Up to 4 video and 3 audio. Hope that helps let me know how you do 😊
I like that phrase "Never Stop Creating". Liked and subscribed for more. I want more, I need more ;-)
Thanks Michael, appreciate the subscribe, definitely plenty more videos planned especially in the new year, so keep an eye out 😊
What will say between smartphone and laptop video editing,
Very good information ♥️
Cheers @MrTorque69
Thanks Chris, this has helped a lot. I know now that I don’t have to Rush into Premier Pro. Lol
Haha thanks James I see what you did there! 😉 glad you enjoyed it
Can you do all of your rough edits on mobile rush then be able to open it on premiere pro and add more heavier edits?
@Wildredo absolutely. You can have it set up so that you’re doing these edits via Rush mobile and having it sync with Creative Cloud you can then open up Premiere Pro on desktop and on the Home Screen select Open Premiere Rush Project. All of your rough cuts, edits, transitions, audio, motion graphics etc will port directly across. Hope that helps 😊
@@Chan53n thanks it really does. Subbed
Cheers Wilfredo appreciate the sub 👊
Great video my friend! 💯 This helped a lot. Thank you 🙏 LIKED & SUBBED
Thank you TechInsomnia, appreciate it hope you like my other videos too and more to come in the new year 😊
Question I’ve been editing on iMovie which is the better upgrade
Hi dean street dreams entertainment, so if you're used to editing in iMovie, then Premiere Rush will be easier for you. Rush has a very minimal interface which allows for users to jump straight in and start editing quicker. Premiere Pro on the other hand, if you're unfamiliar with the user interface, it will take some time for you to adjust and familiarise where certain effects, panels etc are located and also the style of editing. Hope that helps :)
@@Chan53n helps a lot thank you
Thanks alot i'm trying to improve my editing game and skill at editing it was short and got to the point🙂👍
Thanks Hasanthe 😊
Premiere Rush has auto-ducking of Audio and auto-reframe too, so it's a bit strange that you mention those as Premiere Pro features.
Plus, one big difference for many users: Premiere Rush does not support Captions.
Hi Jarle, thanks for your comment and yes you are correct, but I will be doing a deeper dive into both applications in future videos to come mentioning both those features in more detail.
does Premiere Rush support keyframes or not ?
Hi Video & Art, at current it does not, for any type of key framing you can open your Premiere Rush project inside of Premiere Pro to apply key framing where necessary. Hope that helps 👌
