Another from Miami Int drove me from the Airport! made less then $15 on a 30min drive.* Was trying to offer a bunch of drinks and snacks in the hopes of a better tip!--Also complaining about how Uber is not working out for him. I feel bad. As I prior Uber driver back when I thought it was exciting, was not practical. I could not see it possible to keep up with the vehicle repairs that YOU are expected to pay--Especially now! ha!

Thx to medical reasons, I haven't driven since 2009, so I use ride-sharing exclusively. I believe people deserve the safest, highest quality transportation options available. I doubt human drivers will ever be fully eliminated, but eventually they might not be the first choice to look for. Likely the quickest and least expensive though.

Just like you, as an employee, who does what is in your best interest, not your employer's or company shareholders' best interest. The CEO's job is to make sure the company does well financially in order to secure jobs... if the company break even or loses money then it has to layoff workers, which is even worse scenario for drivers/employees/customers. Life is often about choosing between two choices that each have trade-offs, as opposed to two choices where one choice is good and the other choice is evil.
