My dad had a VR6 2.8 it was definitely a 97 or 98 model and the exhaust souned exact as your R32 i love it! Best sound ever!😍

The exhaust is writing cheques the engine can’t cash!! 😂 it sounds like it’s doing triple figures but then the trees aren’t zooming past that fast! 😂 I had the Audi A3 version of this for 5 years and loved it! Also, you’re right about the fuel light too! For short journeys, it was horrendous! 🤣

Had a full straight pipe on my mk4, novelty wore off pretty quickly, sounds much better with a more sedate system. And the bonus of being under track limits.

Its not what I expected tbh. My TTV6 was stock i love the stock R32 rumble. My A3V6 snapped from the flexi pipes and the exhaust noise was savage. I was hoping this would sound the same as my A3.
Your changing my mind on the mk5 r32 like them more now but still miss my mk3 vr6 that's was super fun

Brother i just got hold of another r32, the management light came on an when i got it diagnosed mechanic said that sum1 fitted a performance Cat on an never remapped it so they advised me to remap it stage 1, he said there was a really small minute leak but doesnt really need sorting but they didnt wana sort it anyway incase they snapped a bolt or sumat.. so my question to u brother is, do u think the mechanics advice was right? Or should i just get a full custom exhaust made from back to front for the car?
