Quality3rr0r Correct, that's why I posted a new version of this suite. I used a lot of the pieces from the old suited to fill in the gaps, but I eventually found a good-quality version of that section

Jack Vaughan Ahhh, nice. I guess that was the best synth voice Marty had for that part in the suite. It sounds awesome with the remastered version. Can't believe people were hating on it initially.

The one thing that 343 did *descent* whas remastering the halo 2 soundtrack (especially this song)
That was Skywalker Sound who remastered it, 343 had nothing to do with it. 343 mainly worked on remastering the multiplayer maps.
The removed some of the best moments of the original soundtrack and replaced them with new elements

How can you remaster something that is already perfect?
I like the original a lot, but the newer stuff has some darker tones which I like as well
It's also crazy to me that they did some of the looped pieces really well. For me, some of the string pieces are so fluid
