Positive Mental Health During Lockdown

  • Lockdown has become a reality for a lot of us, and so its important to talk about how we can stay not only healthy but mentally healthy during this time. Here are 5 things you can be doing to work on and maintain postive mental health during this Lockdown period.

    That celery bite 😂
    I've actually been told to avoid refined sugars where possible because its suspected to be one of the reasons for the complications I've been having with my pregnancy. Which as much as I miss it, it's probably for the best because I was getting my bake on during lockdown! Plus I'm now learning to make savoury things instead, which I'm usually terrible at. I can make fresh pasta now 😉
    I've found that organising has been great for me! Tidying up and giving myself a clean environment to be in REALLY helps my mental happiness. It always has. We've been sorting out baby's room which is lovely to do together and is a change to pull us away from sitting and gaming etc... ☺️

    Only saw this video now but it was so true... was a difficult time but i have to say we were pretty lucky here in 🇨🇭, only a light, short lockdown. But the schooös were closed for a few weeks and that was really difficult sometimes😅 teaching the kids, woerking from home, together 24h.. i was actually happy wgen schools opened up again😆 and after a few days i had to change our routine from being in pajamas till lunch to get up and dress and start schoolwork💪😊 thanks for the video

    Hi Oliver! Finding plenty to keep me occupied in self-isolation. The first thing I did is gather all my unwatched DVD's. I've also been reading. As an alternative to mainstream media, I am finding newly discovered UA-cam channels very entertaining to watch. I'm so impressed by how professional they look, including yours, of course. I'm also discovering the thousands of podcasts there are, on any topic. Whenever I feel down, I find music so uplifting.

    Beans on toast sounds horrendous under any circumstances. Is that with or without marmite? =)
    A great opportunity was missed on the cut to the kitchen to instead make beans on toast. :-P
