  • This how you can resurface your bowling ball from home
Always use the lowest grit pad usually it’s at 500 grit. Then work you way through the pads
Make sure to use water for best results

Bowl looks real good Mitchell. I mostly maintain my ball at home just like that. Thanks.

ive been bowling for 22 years and i like to stick with storm roto grip and 900 global, just finished a league where i averaged 194 and i had a high game of 280, i would say im advanced but i dont do tournaments much cause far away but my friend hooked me up with a facebook group that links up local stuff going on so it will be good to do that

ive been bowling for about a little under a year, 145 league average 2 handed. I only have 2 balls, a solid and a pearl. still dont know squat about balls outside of coverstock but you dropped some gems in this. Also I want to get a gem next

If they are still selling the Gem I would recommend getting it. It’s still one of my best balls on the fresh shot to break down my line

Great Video. Nice video. Only I use more water. And then do my spins. But the explanation is otherwise very clear. You have some beautiful music behind it. Love from Holland

What temperature should the water be when you do this process?

    How hard do you press?

Just enough to feel the pad grind on the ball. It doesn’t have to be fully forced to surface the ball.

Did it make much difference on the lanes?

After certain amount of games the ball becomes like a sponge and not react as much. Now if there are way too many games I would bring it the proshop that has an oil release machine or (bake machine) and then bring the surface back to what you want it to be at. The ball will bring back to life on the lanes

Do you get the oil out of the ball before you resurface?

If there is a lot games like 150 to 200 games then yes I would. But if there is like 50-70 games getting the lane sheen off and brought back to surface it should good to go. Then after another 50 -70 on that then I would bake the ball at your proshop

Just asking a question if you wanted to take a 3000 grit ball down to a 2000 grit what would be the process. Thank you I use tru cut pads and do not have a ball spinner.

Yes I would bring the ball in the process from 500 grit to 1000 and then to 2000 to have an even ball surface

I would bring the ball back to surface box finish after 60-100 games or when the lane sheen is present like it’s almost polished
