Thank You The foil is same type of foil used on stain glass projects. Also I have seen it in the scrap book departments at the craft stores. We are looking to have in on our site Cool2Craft within a month, as we've had so many requests
Inspiring tutorial! I think these look much nicer than the ones I’ve seen and with using tape to seal the edges the bracelets could be smaller that the bottle for those of us with small hands😁. I see tithed possibilities as well the possibilities! Thanks for sharing.
You are so amazingly talented and creative!! They r so beautiful ! I'm looking so forward to making these, Thanks for sharing and for helping our planet!
You ladies are all magnificent ! I am so glad that I stumbled upon your channel. Member for life here ! Can you pls tell me where I would find this foil tape? LOVE your projects !
gorgeous bracelets...but where do you get that sticky silver tape that you put round the edges? I can only find a gold-coloured one in my local craft store.....
You can purchase it at our shopping site. Just added the link to the description. But you would need to email us your address so that we can give you shipping cost to UK.
If you put the paper on the one you cut, and put it on the inside, you'd have solid plastic on the outside and could cover the cut with a tiny bit of the foil tape. If you stick to the outside, I'd use foil tape to cover the break and make it a decorative element.
Stain glass suppliers for copper foil tape and hardware stores for foil duct tape. Hope this helps all of you who want to enjoy this awesome craft project!
I love people getting so involved in up-cycling. ^_^ Just an idea, but what you could do for the gap between the plastic is to take a small piece of the tape & put it around the seal. It would look like a metal join, rather than having just a gap. It is just an idea, but I know that is what I would do if I decide to do this. ^_^
Nice bracelets. It occurred to me that the tape you use on the edge can actually be duct tape. Then you can also match the color scheme how you like :)
i have a suggestion ,instead of cutting the outer ring ,why not cut the inner ring so you dont have a gap on the outside but a close fitting seem on the inside .i don't want to be rude by this suggestion . would you mind if i try one the way i suggest and film it and send you the film for you to see what i mean ,i have copper tape ,like your silver ,i think it might look quite nice ,i will wait for your answer before i put my foot in it lol . all the best wesley
Well although I am English, I am not in the UK, LOL! So I went onto your website but sadly you don't take PayPal . Guess I will keep looking locally. Thanks anyway.
Keeping along with the environmental theme, instead of using googone or other more toxic cleaners, you can use cooking oil or olive oil to get off the sticky residue.
@brassi100 Thank you so much! We love our Heidi! If you make them, we'd love to see and share photos on our website - contact candace@cool2craft (dot com)

what type of glue did you use??? is it the white glue?
You can also use vegetable oil to take off the label adhesive; it's less toxic and cheaper. Just scrub it in and scrub off with dish soap.
Monica...Thank you so much! Be sure to send us photos when you make your bracelets.....

GENIOUS!!!!
do u have to use foil tape?
+Mariah Clarke The foil tape makes a nice finished edge but you can get create and improvise with other materials that you may have on hand.

ilikeduty- Yes you could. or you could also just use 2 different sizes of the plastic water bottles.
We always use Aleene's Tacky glues.
Thank you!

Did you just cover your paper up so you can't see the paper?
Well although I am English, I am not in the UK, LOL! So I went onto your website but sadly you don't take PayPal . Guess I will keep looking locally.

Not terribly, but if you find sharp pieces, a nail file or sandpaper will fix it.
