Fun deck! I think it could be better against aggro though, without much of a change. Looking at the actual matches, I think you used the Nurturing Pixie ability exactly once. It feels like an overkill to eat 4 cards for this type of impact. It's a classic example of a combo which looks good on paper but just does not work that well in practice. With a simple change, your deck will be just as efficient against control (you have a plethora of discard effects already in the deck) and be much more resilient against aggro (e.g 2x Temporary Lockdown, 1x Sunfall/Deadly Cover-up, 1x March), which right now is not just a bad matchup, but feels completely lost before it even starts. And since aggro is what people are going to face mainly on the ladder (at any level), I think being better against aggro will take this deck a step further.
Good points. It's a give and take though, since if you're going to tech it against aggro you could bring in the cut downs and go for the throats, or as you mentioned the sweepers, which are all going to help it against Mono-Red or Boros Convoke but at the price of making it worse against control. I do think teching against Mono-Red and Boros Convoke is the better way to climb the ladder though since it is a far more common matchup in bo1.
I just brewed a greedier version of the Pixie deck. might even record! :)
oh, and it's rotation proof (minus the lands)
excellent!
Thanks for rejuvenating this game! Love the vids!!
My pleasure!

Feels like this archetype is more suited for bo3
Agreed. I think you're more likely to come up against control match ups, instead of aggro, in bo3 as well
