Cryo Chamber often reminds me that music speaks to your soul in a way that words cannot.
Courtney L. Yes, and just by writing this comment, your soul is speaking to music the only way you know how.....words. As any musician would know, having the ability to act as a medium for music to talk through to the souls that are listening, is like a game of volleyball. The energy is thrown out to the people and is bounced back at you and then back out again back and forth. Its a strange, and very intense sensation that almost seems like magic.
@@TJCarter_426 I just saw this on my phone, and it may be one of the most beautiful and thoughtful comments I've seen on UA-cam. Thank you.

@@arbutusviper1 It is magic, and those who don't believe it call it fantasy...
Never forget that, every word ever spoken even if false, comes from a true feeling. Words are soundless and mean nothing without the voice that echoes in the hearts of those who speak it.
For those curious, the quote read during "Identity Theft" is from Carl Sagan's Pale Blue Dot, chapter sixteen.
"When I was a child, my most exultant dreams were about flying - not in some contraption, but all by myself. I would be skipping or hopping, and slowly I could pull my trajectory higher. It would take longer to fall back to the ground. Soon I would be on such a high arc that I wouldn't come down at all. I would alight like a gargoyle in a niche near the pinnacle of a skyscraper, or gently settle down on a cloud. In the dream - which I must have had in its many variations at least a hundred times - achieving flight required a certain cast of mind. It's impossible to describe it in words, but I can remember what it was like to this day. You did something inside your head and at the pit of your stomach, and then you could lift yourself up by an effort of will alone, your limbs hanging limply. Off you'd soar. "
Higgybaby wow, how you recognised it with this lot of interferences
Exact words to describe the undescribeable, it's a feeling you live in your dreams, a feeling of drive of pure will, like in your own matrix world. The things i've seen and the poeple I've meet, voices I heard singing, dragons flying in the sky, 7 pillars of light on an altar, it was a beauty, reading symboles, I've had so many lives, I can't remember them all, despite the everyday predictability of physics, we still don't know shit about much except time is short, time is only an instant, WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF IT ? Enjoy while you still can !
I still remember that feeling so clearly. I didn't know anyone else had that. It was dipping and diving under water and shooting out again for me. But that moment, I know what he means. I couldn't describe it better than him but the memory rings like a bell through my mind.
The world needs another Carl Sagan. A grand visionary who could communicate with the people. We are a much diminished "pale blue dot" without him on it. He opened up the vast emptiness and infinite wonder of the universe to me with his words, we are all formed of star stuff and to star stuff we will all return.
@@sargonixofur1234 The world doesn't need another Carl Sagan, let it be Carl Sagan be the only Carl Sagan ever to be. What the world needs is to pay attention to those who are worth it and be and do greater by him and spawn other great minds that will still take it to another level.
But I completely understand your point of view, RIP Carl, you helped us step into the dark unknown with a smile and a curious brain, compelled to think and reflect upon our surroundings in unimaginable ways, dreaming our way through.
But this COVID shit though, although not as deadly as other pandemics we have faced before and other nuke crisis and shit, gotta make you wonder, just how much more will we ever be able to really accomplish before our end as a species with what seems to me forever exponentially growing odds against us :!
When I feel too oppressed by the life I lead, I come here and choose some music, close my eyes and let my imagination run free. It's a real medicine for the soul.
Prepare your soul my brother! Mans time in the cosmos is just around the corner! But first we must stand fast and have fury in faith!!!!

To the people that listen to dark ambient, your my kind of people. You don’t find it disturbing and your not weirded out by it. You enjoy the emotion it gives you like as if it was from a film that is dramatic in a way of sorrows or just comfort. It doesn’t always have to be related to horror, it can just be the soft ambient it gives out that is called dark for a reason. Yet we all are here and each one of us are mysterious that listens to this including myself, I always loved dark ambient. Even just use it to either sleep or play open world games being by myself.
(Edit) it’s like the dark ambient speaks in hieroglyphic words that we cannot understand only our mind and soul knows, the only thing we understand is the emotions it gives us that makes us think on a spontaneously deeper level, and that is what I call.....Meditation. Putting the reality to the side of what’s really going on and focusing on your thoughts of what comes into mind, and letting it run and make you think outside the box. It truly is mysterious how powerful our minds can be just by letting our brain focus on music on a deeper level.
Not sure it works that way. All the vivid images of everything that's gone wrong and is going wrong pop up. That the only hope is that all of it might come to a close as the world dies is a calming thought but not a good one so not exactly meditation.
I agreed the calming music somewhat with beautyfull melancholic tones that is definely mysterious music in symbolic sense of the world _ending.but the end of the world is indeed not evil thing but the way the end can be is sometimes evil for someone or some living beans but every beginning good or bad have a end it is fate.nothing is forever because one thing is certain decay is the real eternal victor in existence.even the stars goes one time go to die and disapear likewise in to the far future ouer earth go to consumed by ouer expanding old sun and exploded.ouer cosmos go trillions of years later became empty and totally cold and dark as dead itself.it is a good thing that everything have his of her time to came in existence and go to disappear to nothingness to sleep dreamless forever without any burden of became aware of conscious as existent presence like before birth.than eternal peace preceed wit no more pain suffering evil good pleasure survival dividing or anxiety or safety only resting in peace of calmly nothingness.it is good al that experience as existent form but it is also good nothing is forever and everything cames to end to the good as to the bad things to the superior neutral laws of nature everything that exist in time and space is equal and one connected thing because it ending over time.
Well said, I say.
Too often I've let cowardice decide my views, and it'd certainly be a new low if I let it trip me up on this hairbreadth of a hurdle.

A message of comfort in times of trouble. For every problem, every turmoil: the answer is History. To see the future, you must know the past. Understanding the past, brings understanding of the present. Understanding both, predicts the future. Humanity has faced many, many plagues before. Plagues far worse than Covid-19. Plagues that killed more people, in a short time, than those who survived. Human life continued. Every civilization that has ever existed, eventually collapsed. Human life continued. Each painful, costly, and deadly step of the way, we as a species survived, and with each set-back, we gained valuable understanding, and came back stronger, and more knowledgeable than before. Everyone who reads this, will die eventually. But life will continue.

I don't know why but such images give me the feeling of pocket dimensions/worlds in which beyond the wall and the neighboring house there's nothing else... either the continuation of the sky on the ground too or a never-ending flatness.
Exactly, I have the same thoughts looking at this. The never-ending flatness beyond this wall. Nothing more than a flat ground and the sound of wind.
There were less stars in the sky today. Even the moon looked dim despite it being full. I watched the news and the last polar bear has gone extinct. I went to sleep and had no dreams. The water has rust in it today. The plants I look after have begun to wilt for no reason. Whats going on? Why is everything dying around me?
Is this actually true George? I just looked up the polar bear extinction situation right now, and there weren't any news articles or information sites that mentioned this.
@@danielsmithiv1279 I think it's a small poem to end of the world
beautiful intro to a movie or an atmospheric type game :D.
@@danielsmithiv1279 I have found a Facebook post of an article that mentions the sudden death of most of the visible stars, and the sudden extinction of polar bears, and that the 2 might be related. There must be some greater forces we don't understand yet behind all this. There is another article about the Sun suddenly dimming, making the Moon dimmer. The rusty water George mentioned is probably just something in his pipes, since I am not experiencing it (I drink well water though, that might be the difference). His plants probably died because of the bad water. I've read that your dreams are just the souls of your relatives and friends from your past life showing you guidance. If you stopped having dreams, their souls are probably already gone. Which would mean that Heaven got it's apocalypse before us...
@@starchild2299 Actually, the polar bear population is at around a comfortable 30k mark, has been for several years now, they're not going extinct with all the regulations and bans on their hunting. The most likely reason for not seeing stars would be light pollution, as I'm sure you can agree that astronomers would be concerned if what that article you read was true, not to mention multiple papers and publications would be writing about it. The Sun dimming is because we are approaching a grand solar minimum, and that one is a concern, yes, but even then not an extinction level concern, only a major worldwide famine concern due to the volatile weather it will bring, or rather is already starting to bring. And for the dream part I disagree with what the article you've read about them says, my own beliefs on dreams are too much in my head to be put into cohesive words at the moment so I'll leave that at this. Lastly, you shouldn't worry about the heavens, if we are to believe the as above so below rule/statement (or however it should be designated) the heaven is just fin.... Okay maybe a bit less than fine, but it's still pre-apocalypse in there.
This is so beautiful. I still have undying hope, however.
The undying hope is core - keep it alive :)

You can see all the world's boiling, all it's energy at only two times, when it is created, and when it comes to an end. Think about life. When you were a child, everything seemed magical, every new thing seemed to come from a world you wouldn't have imagined before, and there was an amazement while discovering it. You will have the same kind of wonder when you die, looking at all the things you'll never be able to experience again. These times are the ones when you can feel every part of the beautiful world we live in, but I might have lied about something... You are actually able to recreate this feeling of amazement in other times of your life, but to do so, you have to work on your awareness of the world. You need to focus on the beautiful aspects of the world : people you love, the beauty of nature, the expression of the artist through their art... Meditating is a good start, and if you don't know how to meditate, just sit in silent darkness and listen to your inner self. If you can raise your awareness of your surrounding environement, you will be able to live moments of amazement again
I wish you the most wonderful day/night

[Real Story on how I love the apocalypse and what I think lead up to it]
Since I was a child, I was really into action movies, like Micheal Bay levels of action where there's explosions everywhere, sure people in the movie were scared but I really liked it.
Than I gotten into horror with Creepypasta's and SCP's. They gave me, an unsettling feeling when watching a video on them, and I'm like talking about like 2012 to 2014 so their popularity was booming or lasting. But I never really gotten into horror because it didn't hook me with crazy theories. Around the same time I really liked the movie 2012 and Transformers Dark of the Moon because... it was something I didn't see before.
Than I discovered FNAF, like back when the game was like 2 weeks old, when all the youtubers were playing it giving it rockstar level popularity amongst the internet, the ambiance, horror and questions I had ended up leaving me stay with the franchise till today.
2013, E3. The first time I discovered an E3... what is this? Oh video games! What is this Destiny game? I had questions and why I was hooked on the dissolute atmosphere. But this is a style I am quickly getting into like Fallout New Vegas and 3, Last of Us. So I was getting quite used to it.
2014, lots of games but one gotten my eye- Tom Clancy's The Division, it had action, and a world I recognized but in a destroyed state, so in 2016 I played it and than forgot about it but the atmosphere in that game kind of sealed the apocalypse feeling for me.
Of course I looked for other atmospheric apocalyptic games and eventually noticed that it's really an art style so I decided to make a universe but to make it different than the stuff I listed... I basically made a worse case scenario like Yellowstone Volcano erupting- no All of the super volcanoes erupting, nuclear warfare- nope Viruses, famine, civil disorder. This would end up creating "Post Rapture", an idea that I'm hoping to write about in the future, the time period of the book would range from 2015 to 2035, start of everything going bad to when the world is finally recovering but will remember it.
If I was to describe the atmosphere of Post Rapture, it has an Last of Us and classic Fallout feel with some bits of The Division in it. The book would be like a fictional journal of a man called "The Wonderer" collecting other journals- family diaries, notes, pictures of someone's loved ones; it's gonna be really hard to pull off but I think I can do it.
More on Post Rapture.
It's meant to be a realistic take too, using reference of the atomic bombs on Japan in WW2, pandemics, how would a country would fall apart and much more catastrophic disaster events.
The winters are much more harsher due to the volcanic ash up in the atmosphere
Summers are killer because normally during that time of the year, the sun is beating down on the surface of the earth causing heat
"You will own nothing, and you'll be happy"

@@cryochamberlabel interesting how come copy right isn't an issue? also instead of using mods i just use my steam overlay web browser to listen to the albums i like for example i listen "dark gothic" "steampunk" "fallout" albums etc. for fallout games. i just mute the music and let it play on the background. anyone who plays fallout 76 / 4 should try those i mentioned above. it really feels more like a fallout game. sure those games have excellent soundtracks but saying that they are "out of place" would be too kind. for comparison listen listen to "metallic monks" or "vats of goo" from the original fallout games.
@@merihaday5067 We tend to allow use of our music for non-profit projects like mods.
@@merihaday5067 You are right, you could simple play it in the background but there is an advantage if you have a mod that integrates it in the ambient music. When exploring places there is sometimes a short music clip that sounds like"this used to be a nice place full of dreams of a prosper future, now it looks like *insert badly managed city*"( I don't know the title). Or some areas do fit for a particular set of soundtracks better, like in Nuka World the space themed part(it cries on how much potential for this civilization was lost). As far as I know ambient sound packs can do that. If you don't need/ want that, thats fine. The OST are not bad, but like with modded soundtracks you need a change once in a while.
Now about the copyright issue, I would pay for such mod as long you can use the titles also on other devices( like you pay for good music). But like often with paid mods, patreon is a pain in the ass, I just want to buy the one mod, and not getting drained every month. The Creation Club is cancer since it ruins your modded game. I personally like the "space" themed song better since they are less dominant in the mood they set.

You people made me feel I belong somewhere for a second. Mad respect for you Cryo Chamber for this disturbing piece
😃 This looks like my cat from behind! ❤❤❤
Please tell your cat that I love him / her
@Telios Abraxas All animals on this planet have an evolved intelligent form somewhere in the Universe. On this planet its Humans/Apes, on some other planet its Cat people/Cats.
Lol
Mate, this soundtrack came on randomly. I'm glad it's a cat watching the end times. Good cat.
Pertaining to the recent die-off of crabs up north this was truly ahead of its time.
"Identity Theft" has been a favorite of mine for years.
Civilization will soon die and the whole world will be thrown into eternal chaos and nightmare. Soon there will be nothing but darkness, destruction and misery. But at least that's fair in a world full of lies and injustice... I long for that day, for only then we would be equal
In some far off distant corner of the galaxy thousands of light years away, in a dwelling on a small, cold, dark planet circling a dimly glowing, blood-red dwarf star sits a creature, unable to rest, flipping through spacetube, and happening upon this video. It looks out it's window into the gloomy, shadow-strewn 'day', seeing dim pale red streaks bracketed by inky black shadows across the landscape amidst it's icy dead world. With a depressed sigh thinks- "Finally, it's my jams".
Compared what's going on this year, this music still seems more calming than hopeless
Perfect for my new novel. I also start college in 2 weeks so I can better chase my dream of being an author.
All the luck to you Internet stranger!
I too, wish you the best of luck, Internet stranger!
Hi! How about the novel now though?
@@shapeshifter8778 I haven't worked on it a ton the past few weeks but I got up to chapter 3 and a good part of the plot mapped out
@@Fearsia Oh, Wow! Thanks for answering. Do you posted it on Wattpad or somewere else so that there's a chance for me to see it? If you don't, It's okay. Hope you can finish it one day.
Life is Beautiful
Time is Cruel
The title of this mix really symbolises the current state of the world.
It truly feels like 21st century will be last century of humanity
@@ethanmcfarland8240 I really think that is true, due to everything we have done to the world, we may disapear by the end of the Century

OMG. How hauntingly beautiful is track 2?
Track one is my favorite 😊.
Edit: I have actually been replaying track one, and didn't really listen to the second one. And OMG! Now I'm just gonna keep listening to the second track for whole day, till I proceed to the next😅.

The end is relaxing. Finally, a coming to terms, surrendering to what really is...
2022 The Soundtrack.
Gotta listen to this while slightly stoned and write
This is the music that gives me peace of mind. God knows why.
Everything will disappear, nothing will be left of us, time will take everything, even memories...
Even if things were going perfect...itd still be a dying world
Dying worlds are part of the universe, so it is perfect.
Your mixes are always full of lovely surprises
The recent mixes you folks have put out have been amazing.
Thank you.
The first track, They Took All I Had, will be the defining music of 2020. Melancholy but beautiful. The music, not the year.
I came here just for the cat...what a cute...
There´s something beautiful in witnessing the world dying
This is a banger of compilation. Hats off to In Quantum.
Some of this tracks gives me lots of Halo 3: ODST vibes and I love it.
wow! this is basically a list of my top fav cryo chamber tracks, thank you!!
Thanks a lot, CC. Love your music!
The lone cat watches as the world ends. Not that he has anything left to lose. To his eyes, he was immortal, a god. He knew that once it all ends, he would be reborn. But something was so... peaceful about watching a world end. A soothing tone filled his cat ears as he watched outside at the end comes into sight. Regardless of what it was, it was beautiful.
An hour and fourty-seven seconds past... and suddenly, he felt it. The end of his fleshy existence. But he knew, in the end, there was no death, but only, rebirth.
Eh
He isn't watching the world end, he's looking at another building you edgelord.
@@arieson7715 it's a poem/story for the video, he's not serious
@Ivan S. Oh hi
@@ivans.191 hi other me from another universe
I love your music. This is seriously a masterpiece.
It reminds me of a place I lived. It as in the country in the northwest. It would snow and...there were always empty mountains and woods for hundreds of miles, devoid of human life. Nothing but the wind sometimes as the snow crunched under my feet, my bow and quiver on my back as ny breath became frost. It wasn't dead...but it was alive simply in a different way. Sometimes things have to die to become the fertile soil upon which life may grow again.
This all flows together really nicely. Feels like one long piece with several parts.
Красивая и очень атмосферная музыка👍
Beautiful and inspirational collection ! Thank you for introducing us ❤️
One of your best playlists yet. Have been listening to this all weekend long. Thank you so much :)
This playlist is so damn good. just play it everytime weather is cloudy and boom just vibing.
Another great collection to escape with. Thank you In Quantum and Cryo Chamber 🙏🏻
I love this! The beginning of the first one reminds of track 3 in the game Talos principle and i love it!
Keosz - Clearance ❤️
Awesome, another one hour mix to chill to
I'm only 4 minutes in this and I already love it. Music good for the night :)
Music for quarantine... I luv this channel... ❤️
This great playlist has been in my collection for years, a gift that keeps giving. Thank you CC for taking us where we needed to be, somewhere where we can trade darkness for inspiration and float on the quiet delight of deep, authentic emotions with gratefulness for nostalgia. Magical.
First track is a perfect opener for the rest of this amazing mix. A perfectly consistent tone throughout, much like Dark Underwater Ambient. Fantastic job putting this one together.
Fantastic mix!
This is both haunting and so calming at the same time!! Perfect for helping me sleep and for writing my novel.
Eternal dark night... thank you Cryo for these Dark Ambient masterpieces!
Lately I've been seeing playlists like this being recommended and the timing could not have been better
All the songs are awesome, but the last two, I just.. fell in love with them
Absolutely the best channel. Love your music for long introspective walks, reading, driving, going to sleep, and so many other instances. Great work, yet again.
This is giving me a serious "Songs from a distant world" vibe by Mike Oldfield. I love your work Cryo. Thank you.
Somethimes I wish I was on a dying world, not from war or destruction but just empty, a place were you had to travel to meet some one and most buildings are just full fo shadows, a cold and dark place, It's so weird to feel some peace thinking of a place like that? I'm the only one?
Yes keep'em coming!
This is deep. Eventually, our planet, Earth, will one day be devoid of life, and fall apart to just be another lifeless cluster of rocks with a voided atmosphere. Depressingly sad. In the end, nothing matters. We're all just rocks and space debris, washing through an infinite universe.
Physically, I am tired, I am weak.
Mentally I am wearing a mask, I'm funny, I'm making the best of things. People like me.
The truth is, I've recently lost everything and am still picking up the pieces. After listening to this for an hour, my mind and body are in sync.
I rejoice for you to of found some peace. May I one day find the same. This music gives some temporary relief from the hell. My problem is my life has made me very tough but at the cost of almost everything that is important. May you continue on your journey to a better future.
This is crazy amazing ❤️lost myself completely in this♥️
