Hi PD. Your videos are great. Thanks a lot. Just an small correction: Shoto is how Cazuo Matsumoto calls his wrist backhand shot. In your videos, you always differentiate: topspins / Shotos. I would prefer to call the second group: active blocks or hits or smash if ball is high, but not shotos. I say this just to help other people to find and understand your amazing content. Thanks again, and thanks to Ryu. I converted to jpen when I saw him in Barcelona (12 years ago aprox)

High ball isn't easy for tall people either. Tall people have to maintain a low stance. It's better to take the ball before it get's too high for tall people too.
저도 예전에 이거 때문에 고민했었는데.. 유승민선수 말씀데로 타이밍을 빨리 잡고 바운드되자말자 쇼트하는걸로 해결했습니다.. 드라이브는 호를 그려서 오기때문에 왠만하면 탁구대 끝주위에 맞게되니까 기다렸다가 바운드되자말자 쇼트해주면 뒤로 안물러서도되고 빠르게 코스 공략하기도 좋죠..

안녕하세요~~ 한가지 말씀드리자면 쇼트를 영어로 'shoto' 라고 하는것 보다 backhand block 이라고 하는게 더 정확합니다

어떤 표현이 와닿을까 고민하다가 영어권 남미권에서 SHOTO 라는 표현을 공공연하게 사용하더군요.
