Thank you, an excellent review. Having purchased a 920 a few years ago and the Brio just recently, I would say the Brio is a significant upgrade in dealing with different or difficult lighting conditions. Auto zoom can be a little touchy, however, overall I'm very happy.
Thanks so much! I've been looking around for a good low light test and it was awesome to see it side by side with the Sony camera to get a sense of how dark the room actually is to see just how good the low light setting was. I won't be in a room that dark (I only have a ceiling fan for light) but good to know it'll still look fine if needed! Also good to know about the Logitune software, I haven't seen anyone else that mentions that. Nice review!
Could you please explain how you managed to get the camera to record with the lights off? I have explored the app but couldn't find the corresponding settings. Thank you in advance for your time!!)
I did notice the brio had kind of a tinny sound to it but all in all it really wasn't that bad. Anyone serious about making content will buy a professional mic anyway. I don't think they planned on people actually using it unless it's a business that doesn't want to put out the money. Very good video
@@TechVisibilityVideos i have 2 blue ports on my pc plus some of the normal ones i bought the cam and its plugged into my blue port......is this a better quality connection than the normal port? is it for 4k? if im not using 4k will it be better if i plug into the normal one? im also getting flickering unless i go into the hub and press off......which is the best software? hub.....tune......i dont really like capture
Now I got a clearer view on Brio. Thank you very much! I like when you compare with Sony camera and also inform us about the software. Now it's confirm I want this webcam although it's a little bit pricey.
there are videos showing how to properly remove the camera from that clip, if you want to mount it to a tripod for example. don't just try to pull it off.
It is supposed to kick in low light. There is a sensor on the camera and it raises the brightness in dark settings. Make sure you don’t have it switched off if you are using the Logitech cam software. Otherwise it’s on automatically.
Excellent and very informative information. However, I just bought mine at Best Buy in New Jersey. I thought this is a new product, yet there are some videos about it that are 5 years old. I have also noticed that multiple model numbers exist for this webcam. I know that you set it up on your monitor, but I presume like other Logictech webcams that the piece on the bottom comes off so that it can go on a tripod. Is that true of this one? Also would you please consider a review of the new Zoom Q8n-4K Ultra High-definition Handy Video Recorder, which is a camcorder, which although aimed at musicians seems great for making UA-cam Videos. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Three comments: 1) I wish you would have taken more time to walk through the steps to downloading the software and to explain the benefits; 2) I wanted to see if the camera’s recording light would display as green because mine doesn’t and that makes me wonder if it’s working properly; and 3) in case you didn’t know, some laptops don’t have the USB A port. Therefore, most people purchase a usb port station to connect the camera. Unfortunately, using a port connection does NOT work. You must have direct camera to laptop connection. I had to purchase a USB connector with USB A on both ends.
Is this compatible with a 2010 Mac Desk OS computer 10.13.6? Thank you. Can I also ask is my built in camera hard to disable and restart when using the Logitech Brio ?
This cam films in 4K only connected to Win10 on USB3.0. If connected via USB 2.0, there is only HD available. Also, the socket on the back of the camera (to connect the cable) is very loose. The thread for mounting the camera on the tripod is accessible by pulling the plastic rack out, which is unexpectedly primitive method for a webcam of this price. Apart from filming 4K and easy access to FoV, I see no advantage over the classic Logitech 920 and 922.
For the price especially, it may not be a worthy upgrade, but the low light feature did work well for our testing. Also, the comparison from a $1k camera and lens vs this Brio was a good indication of what the quality you get. Thanks for your feedback and watching.
@@TechVisibilityVideos Well, yes! But if the cable socket falls out or if following few manipulation the plastic rack gets damaged, then the high quality will be worthless. I expect a cam in this price range to last long. Imagine a BMW that will have the doors blocked after one year and having contact keys like the ones at the grandmother barn doors. :-). Thanks for the answer! Well done review!
I set up my Brio 4K camera. However, when I use it on Zoom, It gives me a mustache, eyebows and a goat-tee. I don't have any of the filters on. Please help me to get ride of it.
I had it for some time now and the video is now foggy, I am not sure how to fix it. could be because of the top lens have had scratches? I already tried contacting customer support but we don’t have any service center in the Philippines so I am stuck with a foggy video whenever I use it.

problem. disorientation. i move to left, my computer window moves to right. & vice , versa. if i move to my left, i want my computer window to move to left too. logitune software setting does not cover. how can i correct this. can u or anyone help.
On the 920 the custom settings remain and more options are available if the user is logged in to the Logitech website during the use f the cam. I do not know if the same is true for the Brio.
This Logitech 4K Pro is NOT Pro at all, because if you plan to use this with Webex, or Zoom or Microsoft Teams; than all these apps will slow down and eventually hang your whole of the machine - regardless Windows or MAC, the Logitech camera 4K has major flaw at software driver level, 4K will crash your video call apps, so the only solution is to use UBS 2.0 and NOT UBS 3.0 which means you will not get 4K and slower the stream. It is rubbish expensive camera - do not bother! I have already contact Logitech and the support person already confirmed this to be a major flaw. So unless you want to use 2K than go ahead buy it! Instead my suggestion is get a non branded 4K which actually works much better and you save 50% or more!

Man I'm so damn mixed on what I should buy.. I don't make much money and only have 20 subs on my horror review channel (wink wink lol). I have an external mic that is decent but do u think that this would really be a good choice for having good 4k video??? Thanks and great vid bro!!

Something that is driving me ABSOLUTELY crazy. I purchased one from Amazon. The Box says "Ultra HD Webcam" underneath the BRIO in the top left on top of the box. It looks like a Brio, has the 4K Business Pro paperwork in there....but it says Ultra HD on the outside....WHY
The amount of post-processing on the logitech camera makes the image so far from truth. I wonder if this filter can be turned off otherwise the camera is worthless to me.
The mic quality for the Brio isn't bad at all. A little echo but not much. I was expecting it to be terrible but it wasn't. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for watching Tim. Agreed for the price it’s a great camera.
From what I can tell from reviews, I’ve watched, the sound quality of the MX. Brio 4K is superior to the Brio 4K.

Depending on if you are using windows or mac, there is additional software you need to download from logitech to make these changes.

Do you notice that the video quality change when you use it for Teams.
Teams may have a limit to the quality as well. For example, Google Meet premium does 1080P but most companies will only go to 1080P vs 4K
