Hey Ellie. First of all you look beautiful without make-up. You're giving me effortless chic. Also really appreciate your vulnerability with explaining the room. I have a neuron dysfunction that makes things a little tricky and I get it. Thank you for the relatability. Enjoy the amazing room!
Thank you so much Lulama! That really means a lot to me. Thank you for all your support 💛 I'm sorry to hear about your neuron dysfunction - I hope you're okay! Thank you again for all your support 💛
Hi Ellie!! I’m so glad I’ve found another postgrad UA-cam person at Cambridge 🥺 I did my undergrad in maths too (at Nottingham) and now I’m at Magdalene college doing an MPhil in Philosophy of Science. Your room is AMAZING and I can almost actually see it from my room at Magdalene 😂😂 would love to get coffee sometime!! 💞
Sent you an insta message!! ❤️
That view is amazing Ellie! I hope you're settling in well xx
Thank you!! Hope you had an amazing study abroad - so jealous!! Xx
It seems like your way to where you are now was never easy, but it makes your story even more motivating and precious. Keep going forwards, Ellie! I really like your channel, it helps me not to give up while resuming my astronomy degree after a year of uncertainty.
P. S. You look beautiful, it's an axiom.
That means so much to me, thank you so much! It's been a tough 3 years but also an incredible 3 years! Supporters like you make everything so worthwhile so thank you! 💛
That apartment is pure luxury I’m so happy for you!!!
Aaaah thank you I love it here!!!
I'm hopeful about going there next year to do a post grad in Population Health. I really enjoyed this video, I think you do an amazing job of giving a sense of the actual experience without any pretension and it's very comforting and sweet, so thank you.
That’s amazing! Thank you so much for your lovely comment🥺
Your room looks awesome Ellie!
Could you please share how you use the whiteboard for maths practice? I am very intrigued!
I am with Lise on that one. Thank you.
I’m also at Cambridge (2nd yr undergrad) and I share a kitchen (which is the same size as your kitchen in your room) with 10 people. Last year was the same and that’s pretty typical of most cam colleges (newnham, downing and girton are better I think). The reasoning is that they want you to go to their buttery/ canteen (which is heavily subsidised) rather than cook
👍🏻Was at Sidney twenty years back. Best formal hall at Cambridge.
It’s amazing 😍
I found you by this video and ı am in love with you and your chanel 🥺💕
Awww thank you so much 🥺❤️
Take care friend... N yur room luks rlly gud..I wld luv 2 hv smtng simlr
Just started my maths degree already considering dropping out the work is stressing me out to the point I don’t want to do the degree anymore finding it very hard to get used to the new proofs. Any advice
The jump from school to university is definitely a big jump and it can take some time to adjust to. My one piece of advice is - don't give up! Remember that first year doesn't count and you're not supposed to know everything as soon as you're taught it; that's why we have such big holidays at university! Learning maths is very different at university and it takes everyone some time to adjust to it. Something I've learnt more recently is to have fun! Remember you're learning some incredible areas of maths and you're doing what you love. Lecturers/tutors are always always always happy to talk to you about any problems you have. Also you're not the only one who's struggling! I found first year to be incredibly intense - more intense than my second and third year so you're doing incredibly well! I would say to stick at it for your first year and don't give up. Easier said than done, I know. If it helps, my best friend from maths hated it to begin with, even considered dropping out in first semester and she finished her degree with a very high first! You're doing amazing and I'm always here if you need someone to talk to💛
hey where can i find the subjects you're gonna take this sem? Is there a video about it, i may have missed it.
I will be filming a video shortly!! But this term I’m doing Slow Viscous Flow, Astrophysical Fluid Dynamics and Fluid Dynamics of the Climate!
the penguin is kinda cute haha
love it 🥺
Does Cambridge University have a master's degree in communication,Ellie?
