- Scout Dike Reservoir, the home of Barnsley Trout Club for over 43 years, is off the A629 Huddersfield Road, just north of the Pennine market town of Penistone. Look for the Barnsley Trout Club signs as you approach the Reservoir on the A629.
The reservoir is approximately 6 miles from the centre of Barnsley, 10 miles from the centres of Huddersfield and Sheffield and just three miles from the Peak District National Park.
