  • I recently got this PS2 Gibson SG for Guitar Hero and decided it needed some TLC. The rubber cord had gotten old and stiff over the years, so I replaced it with some "sushi" paracord. One thing I did off camera was lubricate the buttons and strum bar with some synthetic-based lubricant, which got rid of a lot of the creaks and squeaks of plastic on plastic.

I’m just gonna say this and no joke since I don’t really have a full knowledge of it… I got the controller for free by the dumpster and two games on top of the dumpster and it was cold and snowy last year and the games looked like it was taken cared of and especially the controller lol 😂
Also I have no idea who left it out like that but I was always interested about trying guitar Hero years ago which is funny at my part.

@@RetrostalgiaOfficial to be honest I’m not sure if it works or not since I don’t own a PS2 to test the controller out but it seems fine judging by it’s condition. Now for the games like I said it looks like it’s been taking good care of surprisingly.

There was a guy making them on Etsy, or you can get cheap ones on AliExpress. Only thing with cheap ones is the whammy won't work
