It's been a very long time since I have heard these remixes. But these pretty much introduced me to Final Fantasy, a series that's now a favorite of mine. I used to listen to the battle themes and wonder what each story was about based on seeing what the protagonist looked like. Thank you for making these, this was a fun thing to rediscover

I think FFI works better as the wild Pokémon theme.
I thought FFV and FFVI fitted a wild Pokemon battle more. The rest don't sound like any Pokemon battle theme to me because... well they're not lol
IX works so well for the grunt theme.

FF4’s theme sounds like a more intense version of the original, I like it.

FFVII’s is easily the best! FFX is my favorite game, but after hundreds of hours grinding multiple times I’m so sick of hearing FFX’s battle theme.
