I'm not sure what is being said at 5:40. Is a 9v regulator something that needs to be purchased separately? I have a Vista going into an iFlight Mach r5 today which I imagine is a power hungry quad. I really don't want to fry it as this is already a replacement to a Vista that fried during firmware update. It has a Beast F7 Flight Controller AIO ESC with a plug for the Caddx Vista. What do I need to do to protect this thing from frying? Thank you!!

i have a zeus25 v2 aio f722 flight controller and the remote sticks are not showing any movement. I have burned hours trying to find out why my Dji remote does not show any stick movement on beta flight. I know its bound and so are the goggles. Everything is on the latest software. I have the HGLRC Petrel 120X HD 3" 4S Toothpick Racing Drone w/ Caddx Nebula Nano. I know that Betaflight connects fine but I go to the receiver tab and nothing moves. Please help. I have the black Dji remote. Thanks.

Checked cables everything is plugged in right , saucer Ed it directly to battery on a 6s and used 12 volt pad on flight controller and still nothing. Maybe a firmware downgrade ? Thanks for the video. I setup the exact same way with my Vista but it won’t arm my quad. I connected the Sbus to the Sbus pad on FC (F7)and selected Seriel RX UART in Betaflight accordingly. Any idea why it won’t arm?
hi there, I have a KISS FC / ESC setup, with XF nano. It was originally supposed to be an analog setup that ran ImpulseRC OSD and a TBS vTX. However, I received a caddx vista and i would like to utilize it and get into HD FPV with this very setup. Any idea what I need to do to get the caddx working with KISS and get at least voltage read out on the DJI goggles? Is it safe to power the caddx directly from the KISS ESC board? Thanks a lot.

How can I get into dfu mode Please? I have wanted to flash my new boards for years but cannot flash.. When I try impulserc driver fixer it just says cannot access com3. Failed! How can I fix? I can connect to betaflight and have the latest configuration and don't want to mess up my drivers.. Can someone please help me😔

Thank you for all you hard work, I follow you on UA-cam and have a question regarding the vista. I purchased a Kopis mini without the Caddx vista because I bought the vista separately. There is a 20x20 mounting pattern on the vista but do you know what size screw is needed to mount the vista on top of the ESC that is on the stock Kopis Mini Caddx Vista? Thanks Kevin
Just another way to solder the wires on which is safer. Tin the pads ad usual with enough solder. Set the Vista on it's opposite edge and lay the tinned wire in that little divert and proceed to solder so the wire is at right angles to the pad. With the correct amount of solder on the pads plus the wire it provides a really tough joint with the wires facing the right way and compact.
haha, one week after i setup my first one... did you know that the cable of the vista is shorter than the one of the dji airunit? lucky for me the cables are compatible, otherwise it would have completely screwed over my last build
Great Job. I really like the way you explain (in detail) AND LOVE the new format where you draw lines to connect one thing to another. Keep up the Good Work. Just a note: the digital video is just way to costly ... goggles alone are terribly expensive...plus I wear eyeglasses which complicates things a bit. The only goggles that I have found that work well are the FXT Viper V2 which fit well with eyeglasses (without the diopter change outs; more money)... and they are NOT digital. The DJI gear...forget it. How about some cost effective digital goggles; that might make it worth it (???)

This is really bad advice. You don’t need to remove the board to solder to it. In fact when you remove the board you broke the thermal compound on that center ic. Don’t do this.

Thanks for this great video. At 1200 mW at 50 mbts can the vista get to the same max distance as the standard dji air unit ( 13.2 km hard limit)?

When flying the air flow will help. Just don't leave it powered up for long before flying
yes upgrade, it's much better, just don't let the quad sit too long armed and not moving

I have the beta95x, seems the S-bus does not need to be connected, is that correct? FC On those is an F405 for 4S and I am not using a DJI Remote.

The Caddx was designed to be used with DJI goggles. It is pretty much a clone of the DJI Air unit. You can use a different transmitter however.

just save up or buy with affirm financing on the dji site, nothing analog comes close, it's so much better

A good casting rod and reel can help with high strength magnet to drag it or lower it out.

that is not how you install the antenna it is supposed to go under the heatsink cover on both sides
