The visibility from that cab is appalling. There is no way the operator should have to be leaning forward like that to see what is directly ahead. That there is a good enough reason not to buy one. What other ill conceived and not properly thought through design flaws is this thing hiding?

you must not know about weight displacement my friend. Thats the beauty of track machines. The width and length of those tracks would allow that machine to cross an ordinary roadway without doing any damage. I regular triaxle dump truck weighing 40 tons would do more damage on footings than a tracked machine of this size. All the weight is distributed to each track and the length of the tracks and width.

ArcticAstrophysics They are for working on a hard surface like rock. If the tracks were wide they would get bent. Wide tracks are only needed to spread the weight of a machine that has to work on soft ground.
Not really this class of excavator is pretty much designed to sit in one spot and dig only traveling to the next area.. When I see these excavators like this with tiny tracks it reminds me of someone that is paralyzed from the waist down that lifts weight the top is big and solid but the bottom is unusually small.. *I don't mean that in a disparaging way

That concrete slab is quite sturdy.
The plates spread the weight over the whole area of the plate otherwise the tracks would be punching holes through the concrete.

They used slave labor. One man operating that bucket could do more in a day than 10,000 slaves could do in a month.
This machine is not strong enough to lift the pyramid blocks so they would not be impressed
@Katie Giles considering I run them for a living and know what the can lift I don't think so maybe you should research the weight of the blocks.
