Thanks for the comment, Sir. We took the weight of copper + steel portion of the statue only, which is 312,000lbs or 141.5 metric tons (www.nps.gov/stli/learn/historyculture/statue-statistics.htm). If you noticed the statue is shown without its pedestal or foundation in the video. So it comes down to 375/141.5=2.7. It is still a little bit exaggerated, that's why we used the magic word "almost".
@@digndoze The problem is that you didn't stick to a standard metric. You started with comparing the truck to elephants and the next one to hippos and the third to the statue of Liberty.
@@saysimonsaid1576 Of course! Because we have a far better understanding of the weight of elephants, hippos, wheel barrows, brake rotors and plasma cutters than say pounds and or kilograms 🤪.
The analogy of Carrying "57 adult male elephants" doesn't seem so much...No human has ever lifted an "adult elephant" so; it's not as impressive...400 short tons is 800000 pounds which is ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND GALLONS OF MILK...160,000 5 LB BAGS OF SUGAR, 2928 CASES OF WATER. Those are things that give better perspective...
