Miss a little left with my Ping I E series irons but good enough to stick with them. Season # 2 coming up in a few months. Changing grips may help a bit. Can't wait for the weather to get warmer. No need to change over sound. They feel good enough.
This new paint job on the i200 is the same as the iblades, has anyone had a problems with the paint chipping on the iblades, just that I've seen some on ebay with chipped paint. Good review
Hey Mike good review, interesting that you got more spin with the new clubs and about the same distance. This is opposite from the review from another reviewer on YT who lost spin and was hitting some crazy yrds with this new i200. I think your review is more in line with my thoughts how this club would hold up against the iE model ... I think I'll be keeping my 765s in the bag for a while.
Your tests are very good, but on a production note the audio needs to be better. ie wear a mic !! The on camera mic makes it very poor !!Also a bit better lighting , get some lamps !!
Great review, very tempted by these. I currently play Ping i3 Blades, would these be the modern equivalent of these or would the iBlade be closer? Also, what do you think I stand to gain most form moving to a more modern iron? I appreciate this is quite an open and tricky question given how dated my current set is. Any info would be great!
+Liam Bartlett Hi Liam. Yes this i200 iron is the modern replacement to your i3, you'd deffo find more ball Speed and distance with a proper fitted set. The feel is much softer and by far a better looking club. You must test against yours on a launch monitor.
Sorry man, I'm tired of the indoors with no variables test. Take them out on the course and test them. Testing off fake greens and no winds, no damp greens no nothing but a estimated measurement, Is getting on my nerves.

The leaked pictures of the new ping putters look nice as well, they're stepping up their game looks wise
+Cornwall1888 very much so
Ping I rocks no need for the 200 series
Good review
I hit i200s. Felt great. Loved the numbers. I hit against Apex and Apex went much farther but it didn't bother me. Great videos, Michael.
+Jeffrey Schechter Apex are strong lofts!

+Graham Stevenson I've never come across that

+john uren thanks John. Yeh I really liked the spin numbers on the new i200 and feel was so much nicer. The 765's are keepers!!
Like your reviews. Which club is more forgiving and better feel, the Srixons 565 or Ping i200? Thx.
+Manfred Weil got to go Srixon as it's forged, the Ping isn't.

That's great, thanks for confirming, will definitely give these a try.
Good review Mike.
(interesting shaft choice...)
An excellent swing!!!!
You barely hit the club face on the first ball with the I. Not accurate numbers....ball went 149....
Yeah, that really skewed the numbers. Looks like, without that shot, the i e1 had a significantly higher peak height.
Michael, you have been doing this for too long to not have good audio. very very poor audio sir.
Beautiful design except for the idiotic decision to put the club number on the face.

+Shayne sorry but simply don’t have the time to get out on the course. PS, there is no estimating, 100% accurate measurements.
