One game, maybe a Thursday night game, should be televised, but played completely old school. No music, PA, no play clock, nothing. Just cameras so we can watch it.

Two of em are packed every year so the bathrooms are like non existent my dad went when he came out he was like a guy came in and said the sink is open. Main reason I don't wash hands in a bar.

Rich Kotite when he became a head coach was shown how to utilize the play call 2 way headset system for the first time and he struggled because he was used to calling plays directly to the players as 1 ran out, or making signals to them from the sideline. As both a fan of UK football (soccer) and NFL this is a fascinating watch. This right here is essentially how every soccer fan over here watches the game. Music is only on pre match and during Half time and the only reason the PA would ever come on during play is for important announcements (safety concerns etc.). You are there to watch your team, cheer, sing and be part of the atmosphere and that is it. I wish advertisers weren't as prevalent in US sport as they are.
I'd love to see them do games like this every year, just to keep in touch with the roots of the game, and how many grandparents would take their grandkids to show them how it was when they were young.

Old school football right there. But I tip my hat to the fans and to CBS for hanging in there during that very difficult time.

Starting QB suffered 2 pretty severe concussions just before this game. He was never going to be good, but he was playing well to start the year. After this game its like the concussions flipped a switch in his head. First 6 games, ratings were 96, 120, 81,82, 92 and 114. Next 6 weeks were 67, 79, 49, 50, 121, 64. Yards per attempt dropped from 7.7 pre concussion to 5.4 post concussion. And he went from a 5/2 TD/INT split to 6/8. With the Qb falling apart, teams could lock down the run so a team that started the season averaging close to 26 points a game suddenly couldnt break 20 with any regularity. He fell apart after the concussions and went from a Middle to low end starting caliber QB showing promise and improvement to out of the league and he took the team down with him.

Starting QB suffered 2 pretty severe concussions just before this game. He was never going to be good, but he was playing well to start the year. After this game its like the concussions flipped a switch in his head. First 6 games, ratings were 96, 120, 81,82, 92 and 114. Next 6 weeks were 67, 79, 49, 50, 121, 64. Yards per attempt dropped from 7.7 pre concussion to 5.4 post concussion. And he went from a 5/2 TD/INT split to 6/8. With the Qb falling apart, teams could lock down the run so a team that started the season averaging close to 26 points a game suddenly couldnt break 20 with any regularity. He fell apart after the concussions and went from a Middle to low end starting caliber QB showing promise and improvement to out of the league and he took the team down with him.

I don't really see the difference in watching the game. The only thing is that there would be no music and no kiss cam type stuff. Don't get how it would be a dramatic change for the fans at the stadium. It would be just like high school which isn't crazy different from NFL games
