Nice review Simon 👌 I have the black version of this car and run it without the magnets or sometimes with just one magnet . Enjoyed watching your post 🤗
Thank you. I am running stock tires. I find when I remove magnets they get overly slippery. But I plan on keeping this class of Modern gt, stock for close digital racing. With the group 5s I am thinking of pulling the magnets and running urethane tires. My group 5 porshe is by far the fastest but came with a crazy high magnetic down force. Maybe I'll do a review on that car tomorrow!
For the digital carrera cars full voltage. I believe that is 14.8 volts. For my revo slot escort I use the 60% setting as that keeps it controllable in a smooth manner. Although now I think of it, I think I set the fast revo lap on full voltage as well. I just prefer to drive it on 60%
I have the 1/24 scale version. Don't have it in 1/32 yet. Great looking car. The 1/24 runs great. A fishtailing monster that is a blast to run around the track. Shoulders are a must of course. :)
Sadly I don't have the space needed for the shoulders or i would also get some 1/24 cars. Carrera really do a good job on their cars they all look excellent. In 1/32 this likes to be tail out more than the others I have reviewed so far. I think the BMW m6 is longer in the tail so that may be a little more tail happy! I plan on keeping this layout for a while but when I change it up I will make room for the shoulders.
Nice car review.
Thank you.

What amount of voltage are you using?
