Very interesting. I didn't even think about that point. You are spot on. And it is crazy. I'd take this tremor 250 over a new taco all day for every single purpose, reliability, durability, capability, resale, etc.
Great video as always! Interesting that you say you would purchase an F-250 over any other full size truck today including any of the F-150's/1500 lineup. My only concern would be the maneuverability outdoors and the gas mileage when daily driving. Otherwise, totally agree and overall a great truck.
Those are important considerations. In my mind that are offset by a couple things. The robustness of the 250 wins over the 150. The resale wins big time offsetting the mpg loss. And the size of offset by the huge clearance I would get with the 37s. Would I take this over a midsize? Right now no. But when my kids were living at home and we used a truck as a family vehicle this would be my go to truck. Lots of room inside, plenty off room for gear on trips and can tow any of the toys we owned like campers, snowmobile trailers side x sides etc.
@theriseagainhomestead1055 you would have to look it up online. But payload 9n a powerwagon has to be low. It's a 100% dedicated offroad trucks with a super soft squishy suspension and higher clearance
I REALLY wanted to buy an F250 SD. However, I heard about problems with the transmission and I heard about engine failures with the 7.3 Godzilla. Has Ford successfully addressed these problems ??? Like I said Id really like to buy one, but, I'm not gonna spend that kind of money, if the truck is gonna spend a lot of time in the shop getting fixed.
Hard to say with ford. They are in a weird place right now. But in reality any new truck today is a crap shoot. Only way to make sure you don't get shafted is to make sure it always has a warranty while you own it, in my opinion.
@@DavidFlores-du3rm both are great and make great torque. The diesel will do better mpg wise but comes at a cost of higher duel prices, Def fluid, and more maintenance.
@@Jason-Samko w/'23 F350 7.3, I avg 7.8/8.4mpg towing a 12k 36' GD reflection 5th. I'm cruising at 75-85 w/ that, so I'm most sure an extra MPG or 2, if pulled at 55/65. Goes 55/65 up mountain passes with EASE! Bro in laws '22 2500 GMC Denali 6.7d, avg'd 3.3mpg more w/ diesel pulling 32' bumper trailer,(whether in front or behind me). I didn't buy it for the gas mileage! Not complaining about it either, was much more truck than I expected.
Both are excellent trucks. I personally Like the Ford hd better than the gm HDs. But that is just personal preference. I do not like how the at4X in the hd line doesnt have the front locker like the full size and mid size do. The superduty has a limited slip in the front that atleast helps. The gmc is straight open front diff.
@@Jason-Samko thanks for your help. Something keeps pulling me back to the Ford also. I’m leaning more towards it now. I keep going back and fourth with the tactical look of duramax yet narrow profile and the simplicity of the fords look with a wider stance. Although the tremor pkg fixes that and gives it that off road look. Thanks!
Have a video coming out about it next week. Nice truck but still lacking for the price. 20k more than this f250 tremor and doesn't even have tow hooks😂
@@Jason-Samko agree! Looked at one today. I want to like it but WTF! 75k! And fake V8 sound pumped in thru the speakers? Baby tires and you’re right no tow hooks!
I bought a '23 F350 w/ Lariat Ultimate pkg (I LOVE my music w/ 18 spkrs & 1k+ amp). Came w/ sports appearance pkg, 5th wheel prep pkg, 2kw Pro Power pack in bed, dual panel moon roof, LOADED, HUD, w/trailer assist tow pkg, full cams and the Tremor pkg, spray on bed liner, Ford tonneau cover & MORE! If this truck Identified as a female, I'd MARRY IT! It's literally THAT great! The 7.3 Godzilla gasser, 430hp/485 ftlb/tq, tows our 12k+ pound, 36' Reflection 5th wheel up through the mountain passes with EASE! No need for a diesel, my worse fear when wtty is up! MSRP sticker was $87k+, got it mint/flawless in Agate black as new w/ 6200 miles, $70k! Has 2yr/3mo left on fact 3/36k B2B & full pwrtrain wtty. When THAT's up, the 7yr/ 100k kicks in, full B2B & full pwrtrain (Fords Gold Certified wtty) so 9 yrs, 136k miles , covered!
Only around 6k more than a new Tacoma off road and so much more truck crazy

Except Tacoma smaller cab ,I'm 6'5 n can't carry or tow what this truck can
That’s what I have, but in lariat. (I like a few extras) absolutely love it.
Sure is a beautiful truck and very capable

I totally agree! I’d buy that exact truck in a short bed!
Such a great truck and priced pretty dang reasonable in today's world
What's the max payload capacity on a rig like this? I was looking at a new tradesman powerwagon but the payload is horrible.

Absolutely. Enough said.
Glad you enjoyed it
