Welcome to Hong Kong Lindie! I am so happy that you enjoyed yourself despite our notorious hot & humid weather (but hey getting drenched in sweat is definitely part of the HK experience too haha!) You did good finding your way without a map, you were in Central (the financial district/one of the main "downtowns"), and the bridge you crossed to town is exactly how locals get to and from the station :) If you ever had time to learn a bit about Cantonese in Hong Kong, especially in how it continues to evolve and how it's always coming up with new slangs, I think you will find it fascinating too.
It was so nice to see Hong Kong with you - thank you for sharing this layover with us 🥰 Sending you hugs 🫂❤️ It's so encouraging to see your steadfastness in your faith - honestly, I've been feeling a bit emotionally distant from God lately, and your video was a great encourage and remind to me of God's continuous presence and steadfast love, so thank you 💕
Thank you for sharing your feelings with us, we are always here for you with so much love!! Hope you have amazing memories and gain growth from those too ❤️🩹
So interesting watching a video of you in Hong Kong and speaking Afrikaans. Very relatable since I was born in South Africa and live in Hong Kong at the moment. Also, your spontaneity in this video is a good change of pace😊. Hope you are enjoying yourself and have safe travels.
I'm really enjoying these travel vlogs Lindie! It's really nice and cool to see the adventures you get up to this was so interesting and fun to watch and switching languages is so cool. Take care of yourself as I can imagine its a bit hard this time of year without your mum and I'm sending love and hope this year ahead is healing and brings you lots of good things and joy. Hope you have a good time in Japan :)
i'm glad to hear that you are coming to korea soon, i'm a big fan of you !😉i'm sorry to hear that your mom story again.😢i believe in you that you can get through it same as always, you gave me so much inspiration about learning and studying english. i'm still learning eng but skill is more way better than half a year ago. thank you. i hope you to be feel more better and comfortable than other place while you are staying and traveling in korea. btw you looks so cold. korea is very cold now so, you should prepare some warm clothes for the winter. anyway i hope you to have a great time in hong kong. travel safe.❤
7 hrs is tough because the airport isn’t on HK Island. If you’re there again maybe go see the famous Tian Tian Big Buddha which is on Lantau island like the airport.
Lindie thank you for your video. I like so much your video. J'aime tant tes vidéos. Je duis touchée par ce que tu nous dis à propos de ta maman. Qu'elle repose en paix. ❤J'ai beaucoup d'affection et d'admiration pour toi. Bon voyage! Profite bien. ❤️❣️❤️
Sorry to hear about the creepy toe woman on your flight. 😢 On a recent flight someone behind me kept leaning forward and coughing and of course I caught his cold. 😒 Thought it was covid actually because it was a dry repetitive cough that would be like *cough cough* and then stop for like 1-2 minutes then *cough cough* again, and repeat. 🙃 I'm only just getting over the cold about a week later and I'm still not fulling recovered.
I would love to take my dad to Hong Kong one day. He was born in HK and spent some time living in Singapore (he's British but his father was in the army so that's why he's born there) but it looks like it has completely changed since he was there in the late 50s/early 60s. It would still be nice to go though. Although I don't think I'd survive the humidity and heat as I have thick curly hair and asthma. 😂🙈
damn it looks so hot, at what time did you go there? i don't know if i could stand those levels of heat 😭😭😭 but i would love to go to hk since i'm studying in china now haha
I'm glad to see you here again. After your last video (which I couldn't entirely understand because of the language but from which I gleaned enough to get the point), you disappeared for a while and I was honestly kind of worried about you. But you abode in my prayers on your behalf, and I knew that God and your faith in Him would carry you through. Your trust in and love for our God is refreshing and inspiring, to tell you the plain truth; and for that reason I have peace knowing that you will never go astray and have unperishing riches and life everlasting laid up for you in the Kingdom of Heaven, where you will be reunited with your dear mother and all those faithful beloved whom you have lost in this vale of shadows and tears. All the blessings and grace of God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord remain on you always. Ή χάρις του Κυρίου Ίσου μετά σου. Άμήν. Amen. P. S. I did watch the whole video, and I didn't even speed it up as I'm wont to do with longer videos, especially when there are many I want to see in one sitting. 😉

That logo looks like the Tifinagh letter yaz, the one on the Berber flag. Are there Berbers in Hong Kong?
Hello, can you tell me why 不想 can't be "don't think"?
Wow. Love adventures
안녕하세요.정말 오랜만에 당신의 영상을 우연히 지금 보게 되었습니다.당신에게도 많은 변화가 있었던것 같군요.당신이 항상 건강하고 좋은 일이 많기를 기도합니다.힘내세요!

“Sorry for looking like a potato..” Lindie! 😂 “And Im in the adult section, I just need a toilet”. 😂 Sounds like an adventure. 🙏🏽
欢迎你来到香港🎉🎉🎉
Obsessed w you
Lol $106, HK is awesome though. Eat at the more traditional places.
Everything was closed at 7am and I only had 4 hours 🥲I wish I could have!
@@LindieBotes Is it your first time in Hong Kong? Spent four hours in a city like that is not enough to know even downtown. 😮
Yeah like I mentioned it’s a stopover before another flight and I didn’t have a plan to go out beforehand unfortunately!
❤ love you
Can i be your friend? I adore languages too but it's so complicated to find a polyglot friend
You're complaining about everything being closed at 8am on a Sunday, while in Germany, most stores don't open at all on Sundays...
I guess I'm used to life in Asia where everything is almost always open!
