Almost bought a protegé manual back in 2000, felt solid, tight and zippy...left a good impression on me, the corolla felt more squishy and loose, like a used buick :)
I test drove this exact spec as a used car in 2003 right before the Mazdaspeed Protégé went on sale. Should have bought the P5. It was such a deal. Ended up with a new 2004 Mazda3 a year later.
I bought my Protege5 20 years ago and still have it. They're great cars. I should have gotten the yellow... :)
me too. No rust to be seen either.
ha! got my red one new and still have it. over 300k and counting. done all maintenance. my oil is clear. greatest car ever.
We need more of car and driver and motor trend television

That car was freaking awesome. Loved her. It still breaks my heart that my brother got rid of her

Yo tengo mi mazda5 protege y es genial
I stupidly traded mine. Should still be driving it. Great car, but noisy as heck, and the stiff suspension could get tiring sometimes.
I hope the motor trend truck of the year 2002 please
My black 2003 P5 got smashed when a driver pulled out in front of me from a parking lot in 2016. That car was fun and reliable.
Worse wagon ever the pinto wagon is better
You're out of your fucking mind.
