Even though I'm not a Ty Gibbs fan for a 20 year old to lose his dad, is heart wrenching. I know how it affected me when I lost my dad , and I was in my 50s. Especially after winning the race in such a dominant way. His car was hooked up. He drove away from everyone. My thoughts, and prayers to the Gibbs family, and everyone arJGR!
My brother and I have been talking (we lost our dad at 46, 8 years ago now), we all have our time, and no one knows when it will be our time except God. I wonder if Coy's time was delayed just a little bit so that he could watch Ty win it all. I was cheering for Noah to catch him on Saturday, but looking back, that would have been even more heartbreaking, if Ty had just come up short and had his dad pass the next day. We can't pick our time, but if I could, watching my son win a NASCAR championship in my last day on earth sounds like a good way to spend it. Prayers of course for the Gibbs family. Ty will get through this, but it's not going to be easy, and I think the whole NASCAR community is ready and willing to give him grace and support to get him through.
I am not a Ty Gibbs fan, but I'm sorry beyond words for what he and his family are going through. I'm hoping Joe Gibbs can muster the strength to help himself and his loved ones heal during this incredibly painful time in their lives. Rest in peace Coy and may all who loved him be blessed.
It's something we all go through though. Sure we can have sympathy because we will all go through what he is, but he shouldn't get a pass because he is going through something we all will go through as well.
I lost my mom almost 3 years ago and it's the worst. I have empathy for Ty and the entire Gibbs family. It gets easier with time but it's ok to grieve. This has nothing to do with racing for those who forgot.
I lost my younger brother at 36 this year and when I heard his dad passed the very next morning it broke my heart for him....can't imagine losing my father at 20 yrs old but I looked at it like thank God he got to see his son win the championship.
His brother also was almost the exact age when he passed (8 or 9 days off), so crazy it all happen that way. I feel bad. So many things. Dang man. Condolences to all.
Unbelievably tragic story. I am glad he lived to see his son win that championship. Whatever people think of certain racers and whether they like or dislike blah blah, the one thing we can all understand is family. Condolences to the whole Gibbs family in this rough time.
Absolutely devistating. But truthfully he's a lucky man for dying in his sleep. He never suffered and he got to see his son on top of the world. RIP Coy, Your presence will be missed.
My heart ♥️ hurts for Ty he will never forget the last night he had with his dad my prayers are with the Gibbs family I have lost my two younger brothers both of my parents 😢you hold on to the memories God Bless you Kenny and your family ❤

It’s crazy to witness how ironic the Gibbs story is this year and sad this has all become. I hope Ty can gain the strength to hold the torch for the Gibbs family next season in Cup. It could be a huge story if he can handle it all. I wish him and the family the best. Life is a gift.
Nobody should lose a parent any earlier than it should. It sucks so bad! I lost my mom last year and it still hurts. But the one thing I love about Kenny is that my parents had a couple family friends from church that reminds me of Kenny in a lot of ways.

Life happens to all families. Weve lost 7 family members in a fairly short amount of time. Makes you wonder, with all the glory, money and success how such a man loses two sons likes this. Its almost scary. Look at hendricks as well , same deal.

When God calls your number you go. Condolences to the whole Gibbs organization. Ty has a opportunity to prove that he does have what it takes by racing whatever car he can. Most of the time when behind the wheel the issues outside the car go away. 🍺 Very well said Herman 👍

Prayers for the Gibbs family.
I was part of the many criticizing TY throughout the year. Just when he took 1 step forward, seemed to take 2 steps back. After he won his championship I was still not a big fan. That being said, I hope he finds peace. He's not even 21. To go from that big of a high to that low feeling, i can't even imagine. He deserves privacy and peace, and I look forward to seeing him race in Cup.
Well said Kenny!
@KennyWallace we all say your the real deal.Nobody’s writing a script like GOD .
God has better plans for Coy Gibbs. God Speed prayers for the Gibbs Family.
Rip Coy
Life happens to all families. Weve lost 7 family members in a fairly short amount of time. Makes you wonder, with all the glory, money and success how such a man loses two sons likes this. Its almost scary. Look at hendricks as well , same deal.
I,m sorry Coy Gibbs brought up a horrible human being, then passed too Young, r.i.p.
That's one hell of an expensive title!!!
Amen Herm what a Sad sitchuation for sure , ya just never know when your card will get pulled , My Mother keeps getting on me about seeing a doctor for my high blood pressure I'm going to make an appointment for sure
dying in the sleep is not a tragedy ... people die ... dying in a race car crash is a tragedy ... helicopter crash is a tragedy ... dying is the sleep is a blessing ... we cant all be that lucky !
Ohh Kenny you keep getting your words turned around 👍🐄🐮
Feel for the Gibbs Family.. Also might say, alot of people sheeting on TY Gibbs as a result of his behavior, i'm sure was tough on his Dad .. And than he clinches the championship.. A real emotional rollercoaster. Of course the world is seeing a lot of middle aged healthy men, just pass on, and it should not be ignored!
Dirt Floor Garage Coy was not well. He had a degenerative brain disorder, the same one his bro died from.
@@wysetech2000 thx for the info
@@Mainekarter2004 No Problem.
I don't know the Gibbs family, but it seems that they forgot to discipline that boy. You can win every race Ty, and still be a lover. My condolences to the family.
I still wonder were the petty racing would be if Adam was alive. The same with Davey Allison. History would be different.
When God calls your number you go. Condolences to the whole Gibbs organization. Ty has a opportunity to prove that he does have what it takes by racing whatever car he can. Most of the time when behind the wheel the issues outside the car go away. 🍺
Very well said Herman 👍
Can’t deny the kid has guts, courage and persistence
Lost my mom at 15 and my dad I lost at 32 when I was 30 weeks pregnant with my son he also died in his sleep at 62 my mom was only 48
It’s almost like it was Gods way of letting coy see his son win the championship. And then took him home . Well said Kenny take care bud .
There’s one question or piece of info missing, one of these days it’ll surfaceRIP
kuddos to Jr
My grandparents buried both of their sons in 4 years. People have no idea what that does to an entire family.
I hate what he did but I hope he’s okay. That was a shitty way to wake up in the morning after a nite of celebrating! My heart goes out to the Gibbs family. We dont see eye to eye on stuff but they are family in this community and we should all support Ty in this time of his life like we did Dale jr!!
Thanks Kenny love ur show
