Hmmm for as long as I can remember! I've been playing for 3 years, so at least 3 years haha. I had no idea that Rawl mart has a guild on Xbox as well! You think it's truly the same guild (like the same guildmaster)? Or just another guild that thought of the same name and picked the same spot lol
“Congrats guys, we won a trader in mournhold!” is the message I woke up to from one of my social guilds that I’m in. I was super excited because we were a pretty new guild. We didn’t really have a whole lot of funds to get a trader so it was a bit surprising... I launched the game and traveled to the guild trader, and I found our trader deep within the mournhold OUTLAW REFUGE. Nonetheless, still a nice guild so I didn’t mind the little “jebait” lol
Lmaooooo omg something similar happened to a friend of mine! He saw a guild advert for a guild that said that their trader was in Mournhold and that they have super cheap dues and he was like "hecc yeah!", but when he joined it he saw that they were actually in the mournhold refuge :^) So close, and yet so far

However, while the actual zones for the "best" trading spots may differ across platforms, the information on trading patterns and whatnot is still relevant. For example, on PC EU, Vivec city is the best place to trade, whereas the best spot is Mournhold on PC NA. The things that I was talking about when referring to Mournhold in this video, would therefore be applicable to Vivec for you PC EU gamers. Hope that clears things up :)
Great video and so happy that you put this ^^PSA about what platform. I mentioned that a couple months ago that console players feel left out when 90% of any help/tip videos are always PC. Anyways it's crazy you specificlly mention Lilmoth outlaw's den. Doing the main quest in Murkmire on a new toon and went in to launder couple things and I'll always just take a look at the trader. Well there wasn't even one there!! PS4 NA also I wouldn't say actual Lilmoth is too bad, I find that any traders right near wayshrines have the post traffic. Keep up the excellent work and may The Hist guide you traveler.
A couple of points from my experience and thats just my experience, I am no expert: 1) Get a good mix/balance of trading guilds, especially if you sell many different items. For example, if I play for a couple of hours, I get 90 items, for example, I need at least 3 guilds then to sell those items, 30 items per guild. If I have guilds in bad spots, I wont be able to offload them for a good price. Another aspect - how often do you play. if you play every day, you 99% probably will have items to sell every day. So you need guilds in good spots and you need to price your items appropriately so that they sell quick enough but also so that you dont lose revenue because you are undercutting some trader who is seriously dumping item you are trying to sell. Dont go for all 5 guilds with 200k contribution per week. Also dont go for 5 guilds in Outlaws refuge just because you cant get enough sales to get in those top guilds, use your head and sell or resell so that you can get into at least 1 good guild. Add more guilds, if you need it. 2) Sometimes, just ignore those dumpers and undercutters and concentrate on TTC + Arkadius + MM analysis to determine the best price. For example if you want to offload a lot of items quickly, I suggest you use the TTC minimum RECOMMENDED price (not the same as minimum price ever sold!!!!!), round it up, but dont do precise numbers. So for example, you try to sell something, TTC recommends minimum unit price 265. Round it up to 300. But sell for 299 price. That way you will avoid a lot of competition who will sell for 300 precisely. If you want to get a good profit and dont mind waiting, then use MM suggested price, but always CHECK THE GRAPH for outliers that might be pushing the price way up or way down. You can then decrease the MM suggested price by 1 gold which can help massively, especially with mats. 3) You can also check for pricing trends in the MM graph. If most of the dots are going upwards lately, the VALUE is going up, but the MM price is lagging behind. The same with downward trends. Dont buy motifs for 100k just because the MM price says so, if the VALUE is going down (and it usually does), plus you can always check guild traders for discounts. If you are selling specific items like Mothers Sorrow, use TTC to determine where you want to stand price wise and how long are you willing to hold that item (max 30 days remember ;) 4) As Arttea said be careful with guild choice, location, longevity, if its a DLC zone/ Chapter zone / Base game zone / all of it matters. And just because a guild says they have the best spot and you should contribute 200k per month to that guild and pay 20k fee for not hitting the target doesnt mean thats a good guild or a good spot for trading. Two types of guilds fall into this category - social guilds who sometimes get together enough money to usurp a good spot, but will most likely lose it the next week. Second type is just weird people being weird or overestimating their guild and/or the spot. For example Rimmen. It was a good spot when Elsweyr was out, not anymore, imo, most people have moved on, not so much traffic anymore so yeah 150 or 200k contribution in Rimmen? No thank you. Remember that the guild only gets 3,5% of your guild sales, not the 7% that tooltip says in guild store, so it takes a lot of members and a lot of sales to get good spots AND keep them. 5) Finally, if you want to undercut your own guild mates, then dont do it by absolutely dumping the item and decreasing the value, because people from other guild traders will follow you and dump their items as well. A good example is people farming for motifs and then dumping them for half the market price just to get a quick sell, which makes no sense. If you want to undercut someone - 1 gold difference is enough. Literally 1 gold is enough, because in TTC.com you can filter by price, and it doesnt matter if its 1 gold or 10k gold difference. Doesnt matter if the item is worth 1 million or 1k.
since i am not only new to ESO but MMORPGs as a whole , your guide come really handy. For the time beeing i try the non guild options but to know what to look for and how to do stuff in the future is making the sttart so much more enjoyable. THX
Excellent tips! For the most part I just chill with FGM1 and FGM2 for my trading needs, the Grey Manes for questing, dungeons and trials (because it is filled with older folks, like me!) , the Cutthroat Mutineers for dungeon delving, and now your very own TTS guild. All of them offer me something different, and it is important to learn to understand what the specific guild is about. You’ve put together an excellent video. I’ll be sure to save this one to my library for future reference!
Thank you so much Arttea, all your guides are super helpful and i think they should be "mandatory" for all serious ESO players. this one in particular is so eye opening to me, a 6 year ESO veteran. You deserve a lot more recognition and fame for what you do! ❤🎉
That intro was perfect. Some of the best motif flipping that I've done was stuff I've gotten from Murkmire lol Always a gem or 2 in the less popular areas if you're patient enough
Absolutely, you can find the best deals in those locations that no one visits. Even more so if you go shopping in an unpopular area right as the traders flip on Tuesday! You will have guilds that previously did not have an actual guild trader suddenly finding themselves with one, so you can bet that there are so solid deals in traders like those!
This is the best information I have ever received about guilds and guild traders! I had no idea about most of this and I have been in trading guilds for over a year now! Thank you so much for this!😊
tysm, we joined a few weeks ago n thoroughly enjoy eso. this headsup will be most helpful when deciding on trader guilds...ur tuberstyle is refreshing! 🐉💅🏽
That intro is hysterical 😂 I don't know how you deal with that kind of stuff. I am just starting to get into trading and housing and your content is just excellent. Thanks! 👍
Thanks!! I’m just getting into guild trading and it’s intimidating. I’ve been binging your videos to learn all I can. You do a great job and you’re very helpful!!
Lol this really makes me like the good ol grand exchange in Runescape. This is real market and sales kinda stuff that I am not made for. I dont even know where my two guilds traders are 😂😂
I’m not going to be looking for a trading guild for a while (especially with the console UI fix likely not coming until Blackwood in June) but your voice is super chill and your videos are always high quality content
Thank you :) And yeah I heard about that UI bug... When I saw that it wasn't going to get patched until June I was mortified. That's honestly such a bummer, it would really discourage me from playing, idk how y'all do it! Once some fixes do come your way, I hope that my content will be able to help you out and earn ya some cash money :)
Recently joined Tamazon in stormhaven on xbox and ive made 200k in motif and set sales just through the blackwood event alone 😀, trying to break a million lol in my dreams, maybe if i get a great mothers sorrow inferno staff or something similar lol im so bad i dont know what im doing half the time and i always find myself back at your videos for good farming spots, so thank you for making trading a more approachable means of gettin gold 🙏
I’ve come back to the game after a long gap and am also Very Old, so I’ve forgotten everything I ever knew. These vids are brilliant for getting me back up to my (albeit slow) speed. thanks!
So I subscribed a little under a month ago and your videos have changed the game for me. I started at about 80k but now I have 528k in the bank and thats after spending 200k-220k on various motifs over the past week.
That's so awesome! I'm really happy to hear it! You will find that the more gold that you have, the easier it will become to earn gold, since more "investment" opportunities will be available to you (for example, you could stock up on expensive items like aetherial dust, or monster mask style pages and then sell them when their prices explode). I remember when I got my first million. The second million after that came way quicker, and even moreso for the third, fourth, etc. Soon enough you will have millions to spend on all of the motifs you could ever want ;)
*watches Arttea's new video to learn more about trade guilds and hopefully get gud at stacking the cheddar* *dies from laughing at the intro before learning anything* 😂 But for real, awesome video and information, thank you!
not only the videos are useful and informative (and quite funny), they for some reason help me get through hard times in my life and I sincerely thank you for that
I've watch a couple of these videos of yours, great quality and I like the frank-ness of them. I wanted to learn how to make gold and to look for a trader guild. But it occurred to me that my working hours wouldn't allow me to be sucessful. I work 3-5 days a week, 12 hour shifts. So IF my days off included 4+ hours a day dedicated to just maintaining my sales it might be possible, but I use my days off for errands, sometimes get called for more overtime, spend time with the family etc. Life things. So I may have to just stick with casual guilds and find ways to make gold with them. Thank you, and God bless you as well. Subbed :-)
Darn... Those are some hefty dues for a casual starter..... I'll have to think about what I want and can manage besides my normal daytime job and projects that I have going on. Thanks for all the tips about guilds :)
Hmm...as someone that got here via a YT Rec, I got very different things from this video than others. As someone(a 50 y.o. grandma🤗) that didn't read the comments before playing, I didn't get the point of the opening segment at all, and in fact almost stopped the vid right there(which would have been tragic!). It was only after reading comments that I learned it was part of your unique opening 'shtick', which made me appreciate it more. 😺 And... I found the information you laid out in the vid to be very helpful! It explained more clearly what had been confusing me with some of my trading guilds. See, I wanted to do trading but I don't want the majority of my time playing the game to be just farming gear to sell. That makes your 'game' just another job that you pay for the privilege of doing! So I thought I would just get one guild in a major hub and I would be set. Yeah... that doesn't work very well. Even though I was letting MM tell me what price to use, my stuff wasn't selling and I wasn't meeting their minimum quotas. This vid really helped me figure out what I was doing wrong. Thank you so much for that. Thanks muchly, and I hope you (and everyone else here🤗) has a safe, healthy and wondrous day/month/year. Love to all.❤🤍❤🤍❤=🇨🇦
@@Arttea I’m still out here playing this like skyrim multiplayer. All jokes aside, it was entertaining enough to keep me watching, especially the intro, so kudos.
Haha don't worry, I think that most of us went through a phase on ESO when we first started where we played it like "Skyrim Online". I know I sure did - playing my lil stealth archer, stealing a bunch of shit from thieves troves and doing dark brotherhood contracts and all that ;) Welcome to ESO :)
Ah Artea just love you content , i made my first million yesterday following your advice so, i would have been there sooner, but i like spending on fashion
Thanks for the sweet roll =). I just found your channel today and as a fellow active PC NA player, your information is spot on and insightful. I subscribed today and look forward to watching more of your videos (so far I have watched 3 of your trader flipping videos.) Thanks for all the info and witty humor.
It’s interesting that you place Rawl’kha and Mournhold above Vivec in PC/NA. In PC/EU, Vivec City is the highest earning trade location in the game, with The Camel Smugglers guild netting over 1B gold per week during peak events. Just a thought. Great video and loving your channel!
Ah yes, I have to admit, I am only knowledgeable on the market of the server that I play on, which is currently exclusively PC NA. Thank you for pointing that out though - for the EU viewers :)
@@Arttea No worries! Would be interesting to see a video that explores the market differences between PC/NA & EU! Right now on PC/EU, the best locations go Vivec City > Belkarth > Mournhold > Rawl’kha/Elden Root.
I’ve been in a great trading guild that is in dagger falls…it’s a great guild with no pressure to farm your life away and no fees involved…I contribute what I can..but I’ve made over 50 mill there…a good guild in a good location is key…and even more so if the leader and officers are good…which my guild I feel are the best!
For how small the player population is in this game it still shocks me that guild traders are still a thing. You would think that centralizing the traders market into something similar to what WOW or Runescape has would be a better and more efficient way of trading. Since switching to consoles this and the lack of add-ons has been my biggest issues with the game so far. Most traders hardly if ever get visited in my experience outside of the major trading towns which is a shame because it allows the more popular markets to raise their prices since people normally don't want to waste their time traveling to out of the way traders.
I'm going to go buy a bunch of stuff from the Murkmire outlaws refuge later because now I feel bad for them... If it's cheap I'll just buy all their recipes and gift them to my friends 😃
Haha honestly, I do that a lot! If I see any furnishing plans in those kinds of traders I buy them up and toss them in my social guild's guild bank so that the new players can eat them up :) You can oftentimes find really good deals in those kinds of locations, so I make the time to check them out from time to time :D
@@Arttea Yes! I'm there right now lol, seems like most people have their stuff listed for the game auto of 27 gold. I usually set stuff to 7 or 10 but if you've got a long list of stuff I don't blame them for auto pricing lol.
Thanks for the video. I still have a lot to learn. I joined a popular guild in mournhold was selling a lot but they kicked me out. I couldn’t figure out why they didn’t say or give me a warning. Then it dawned on me my status was set to offline and I had forgotten about it. I think that’s why they kicked me out.
Ah yes, I have almost been kicked out of my Mournhold guild myself for that exact same reason haha. I mostly play in "offline" mode, so I have to remind myself to change my status to online for like 1 second every couple of days or so ;p You should reapply and let them know that that is what happened!
Awesome!! You have an extremely informative video... Which has led me to the conclusion I shouldn't join a guild lol Maybe if I can commit to this game for more than a month I'll consider these tips and actually join one.
Those are some solid tips. 😀 my bank is bursting with writs to sell and I will definitely be using this wisdom to clean things up 😁 One thing I have always wondered is what it looks like when a guild tries to secure a trading spot. 🤔 I wonder if its as stressful as I am imagining 😅
Now that is something that I have 0 experience in, but from what I gather, it is incredibly stressful. Ever since the new guild trader bidding system was implemented a while back, it has become way easier for a guild to take over another guild's usual trader. I dislike it even from a buyer's perspective. When one guild loses its usual spot to another and has to relocate, a whole slew of guilds also get bumped out of their spots to make way, it's very annoying.
@@Arttea yeah it is I am mainly a Storm Haven shopper and if I'm desperate I go to craglorn. But not seeing the usual guilds I buy from there can be a little off putting as they usually don't have the selection I am used to
Once again, great video. Would love to know if you could make one for easy ways to farm/make money off of Ancestral Reach motif. Do you know an easier way to do it besides thieves troves and chest luck farming for maps? If so what's the best routes. Anywhom, just a suggestion :)
I know this is a fairly old video for some and I just started playing This video is super helpful even tho I am still confused on the whole guild think for this game but I was wondering what costume is that your wearing at 12:50
what's that? almost 15 minutes of ESO stonks and comedy? Hell yea! I was part of a Rawl'kha trading guild for a few years and kind of burnt out, then i moved to a guild with a trader in the Greenshare outlaw refuge....and yea i started to go broke real quick from selling just nothing at all. Then i found a nice happy medium, current trading guild moves around a bit between Rimmen, Vivec and sometimes Elden Root. I call this method of finding a trading guild the Goldilocks method :)
Nice one! Those are all stellar places to trade (the last places, not so much the outlaw refuge lol)! Also bless, I'm glad that the longer video format was appreciated :D
Might seem crazy, but almost all the gear I sell, is at 5k. It works I get lots of sales. It's mostly PvP gear and I could probably get more for it, but I like the idea of just having everything at one price. Keep in mind I do up the price for certain high demand items. Also, if I sell in bulk, the per unit price is less. That is how it works in the real world when conducting business. Buy one, pay more, buy ten pay less per item. I used to sell glass smoking utensils, when I bought them, I would buy at a certain price and then retail it at a higher price, but if the bulk price wasn't low enough I wouldn't buy.
I love that bugloss is just a meme in your vids now lol. That said, I’m upset that ZOS is sticking to guild traders. I would love for them to implement an actual auction house
@@Arttea Their servers couldn't handle a central auction house. I actually like going shopping porting from city to city. It gives the game some uniqueness than just standing at a kiosk with 100s/1000s of others like so many other MMOs.
lol i'm new to the game and my guilds trader in in Mirkmire. But in all honesty I've been selling stuff just fine, been playing a week just hit 50 the other day and just hit 1 million gold. Idk if that's good but it seems to be a decent amount.
Great vid, I know I would have loved to have had this when I started trading! I also had to double back and rewatch that hilarious intro. I can relate to offering free help to people online, having a minority not listen and muck stuff up, and then have them blame me. Sad but it feels good to laugh it off haha.
This isn't my first rodeo; I too have a bit of experience with providing people help online and having a small minority of those people be absolute jerks to me. In my prior experience, I had to be professional about it, but THIS TIME, I'm running a personal UA-cam channel, so I can respond to these goons and address their goofiness any way that I'd like ;) Feelsgoodman
It's a bummer what happened to their name what with the forced name change - a couple of my guilds got hit with the guild name nerf too (Lucian Alliance -> Lucian Allegiance, Molag Balls Deep (LOL) -> Molag Ballers) I can also vouch that this guild does indeed secure traders in all of these top tier locations, so if anyone is reading this and looking for a guild, check em out! :)
@@xX.D3DP00L_Xx Ayy sister guild! And tell me about it, it’s so weird. Like the name “Lucian” shouldn’t be copyrighted, it’s a normal name! One of my guildies has a pet named Lucian! And “alliance”? Come on, that seems like a pretty standard naming convention for a guild. But I guess those two words together is copyrighted by stargate or something lmao 🙄
I think I understand the system but It just feels so convoluted for new traders that don't have market niches yet Recently i downloaded 10 mmos looking to be a trader in all of them, I have about 1500 hours in Gw2 and got to be a master crafter there and started flipping on my last 100 hours I'm playing pokemmo now and I'm always flipping and breeding/crafting mons for profit I do have about 500 hours in ESO, I used to play casually exploring and questing and I dropped the game but was looking to get back for the market alone looking to get some flips done and level up all my crafting skills once and for all, I've been watching a lot of your videos because they're very good content, but still I haven't been able to wrap my head around eso market yet ;~; I have 0 guilds, about 100k gold and the goal to flip
Rawlakha is worse than Craglorn and Vivec on PS4 EU, so I never got why it's considered good on other platforms. Here it's capital traders: Mournhold > Elden > Wayrest
Thanks for letting me know! I'm sure other PS4 EU viewers that are new to trading will appreciate it :) The trading practices mentioned in the video will of course apply to any platform, but the locations for the best zones differ. Kind of funny how that is eh? On PC NA, Rawl Kha is a very social zone, lots of people go there to duel, afk and trade seeing as the bank is RIGHT next to the wayshrine, so it is a popular zone!
My guild dont require dues. But take donations. They are well know! Oh and know this... once the UI Trading bug is fixed then the market will be flooded and things will be cheap!
Hmmm, Rawl'kha is better spot than Vivec? Was thinking about where to trade but never really find any information about prestige of different places.... :( Thank you for the video, like your channel!
Really depends on what you are selling. If you are looking to sell items that are "popular" (for example, motifs or mats), you may find that you will have an easier time selling them for high prices in Vivec because you don't have as much competition from within your guild. In Rawl'kha, you will have to price those things for lower, but you will get a much faster sale, so ultimately it depends on which scenario you'd prefer: 1) Wait a little longer but get more bang for your buck 2) Get an instant sale but at a lower price For me, how I decide on which scenario I'd prefer for any given item is I look at how much of that item I have. If I have a LOT of that item (like in the video: keyfrags), then I settle for scenario 2) because I need to get rid of them. If I don't have a lot of that item (like say, if it is an expensive motif), then I settle for scenario 1). It helps to be in both kinds of guilds so that I can partition my wares accordingly and get a good mix of both scenarios. I hope that helps :)
@@Arttea well, I mostly looking for another side of the problem: where to move the guild next if we wish to grow:) so trying to create something like a "grade" of different cities to find which are more or less equeal and which are next step. In order not to change one trading spot for the simmilar one...
Ah, I see what you mean now, you are approaching this from a guild leader's perspective, and not just as a trader. I actually do have a tier list for all of the zones in ESO, I made a post about it on my website, I will link it below, hopefully it can be resourceful: tamrieltradesecrets.com/2020/12/26/the-best-trading-guild-locations-in-eso/
@@Arttea hm, I have seen that article some time ago when was searching Google but didn't connect it to you :) Now I found what was disterbing me back then: this is NA server data. And it seams it is quite different from EU server reality, don't know why... In EU Belkarth and Vevec are more popular than Rawl'kha...
The first guild trader I bought from was in the thieves den in Clockwork City because I finally figured out the search function. Where can I collect my sweet roll?
Haha nice, for me it was the trader in Vulkhel Guard - it took me an embarrassingly long amount of time before I understood what a trader was even supposed to be for, and how to access the guild store 😅 I was like “why are these always empty?!”
I just want to sell extra style pages I sometimes get from loot and events. Do I have to join a trading guild for that? Will a normal guild with a trader be enough?
Why don’t trading guilds have a 3% rule? I have been in 1 for years and have made millions of gold and no undercutting! Run it like a real Business each officer in charge enforcing a certain rule no matter what. Doesn’t have to be the wild west! Some will hate it but better than some whale or botter undercutting every 1 and everything. Great video!
That is a great idea in theory, but unfortunately one that would be very difficult to implement in practice. There are some guilds that operate on an honor-based system, where they strongly discourage undercutting and make it known that undercutting in the guild trader is looked down upon. But ultimately, having something like a 3% rule would require a lot of effort and it would be difficult to police everyone's listings. You also have to take into account the fact that not everyone would even be aware that they are undercutting! There are a lot of casual traders that do not know the prices for items, or do not bother to use the "search for item" function to check the current listings for the item that they are looking to list. As annoying as it is to be undercut by whales and whatnot, they are integral to a guild's success; and their trading practices, however immoral or inconvenient, do help fund the crazy expensive traders! I prefer being in a mix of guilds that are cutthroat and ones that have more "honorable" trading practices to get the best of both worlds (a guild with the best trader locations & a guild that does not undercut me)
@@Arttea my friend was the one who started it and there was no excuse!! You broke the rules you were warned once and then gone! It was like a job for them!! Always on i could get ahold of him at 3 am and he was there an would handle any problem at any time! If you were undercut you message this person on discord and they would deal with it! Hell i got in trouble a few times when tired and just threw something up without checking first lol! He closed up shop when he had a child an got married. But I’ve never seen the dedication that he an his officers had to this day! Man was a genius and the hardest worker i have ever seen! I told him he should start a company irl because he had mastered it in a video game!
ESO on xbox EU, the traders are bugged and we have the worst hassle trying to list items on traders, you basically have to type the exact name into your search bar on your sale screen as you cant scroll down and select it. its a nightmare
same as on PS EU servers….there are so many more bugs beside the one u mentioned, Zen must be embarrassed the service they deliver and the time they need to fix it… I hope ppl are stopping buying from the crown shop until things get fixed to increase the pressure…sadly this will not going to happen.
I am looking for a trading guild in Vivec. Would you be able to recommend yours? I prefer a guild that asks for the dues they need rather than one that is constantly telling people they won’t be able to keep the trader unless people donate lots extra.
Yeah, are you on PC NA? :D I would highly recommend my Vivec guild, Feline Good Meowporium! Very friendly and welcoming community and very low dues (10k worth of raffle tickets each week)! They have the best spot in Vivec (on the left, right as you are about to enter the city), so unfortunately there are a lot of other competing guilds (that have a reputation of knocking other esteemed traders out of their usual spots in places like Rawl'Kha and Mournhold) that have swiped our guild trader location from time to time, but I'd say that they can reliably hang onto that spot and they certainly do not beg for dues! I would also recommend AK Tamriel Trade, The Dragon Lair and Savage Blade. Those three traders, much like FGM, have been around in Vivec city for YEARS (since I started playing) and have pretty reasonable dues from what I have heard :)
When guilds set up shop in places like boondock outlaw refugee locations, do they have legitimate expectations of selling to anyone other than their own guild?
Haha I get the impression that a guild that would own an outlaw's refuge trader would not prioritize trading so much as other ESO activities, so I don't think they would expect to get many sales at all and would be happy with any amount of outside traffic - unless they are like my friend's guild that I mentioned, and they are just delusional :') From my impression, guilds that set up shop in those locations are usually pvp or social ones

He saw a guild advert for a guild that said that their trader was in Mournhold and that they have super cheap dues and he was like "hecc yeah!", but when he joined it he saw that they were actually in the mournhold refuge :^)
So close, and yet so far

**NON PC NA: I play on PC NA so evidently the data that I am presenting to you is derived from that platform.
A couple of points from my experience and thats just my experience, I am no expert:
1) Get a good mix/balance of trading guilds, especially if you sell many different items.
If you are selling specific items like Mothers Sorrow, use TTC to determine where you want to stand price wise and how long are you willing to hold that item (max 30 days remember ;)
4) As Arttea said be careful with guild choice, location, longevity, if its a DLC zone/ Chapter zone / Base game zone / all of it matters.
Some of the best motif flipping that I've done was stuff I've gotten from Murkmire lol
Always a gem or 2 in the less popular areas if you're patient enough
Absolutely, you can find the best deals in those locations that no one visits. Even more so if you go shopping in an unpopular area right as the traders flip on Tuesday! You will have guilds that previously did not have an actual guild trader suddenly finding themselves with one, so you can bet that there are so solid deals in traders like those!
This is the best information I have ever received about guilds and guild traders! I had no idea about most of this and I have been in trading guilds for over a year now! Thank you so much for this!😊
It is my pleasure! I am so happy to hear that this guide has been resourceful :D
ngl i don't even care about guild traders, just here to hear the intros and listen to the asmr content
understandable
tysm, we joined a few weeks ago n thoroughly enjoy eso. this headsup will be most helpful when deciding on trader guilds...ur tuberstyle is refreshing! 🐉💅🏽
That intro is hysterical 😂 I don't know how you deal with that kind of stuff. I am just starting to get into trading and housing and your content is just excellent. Thanks! 👍
Arttea your content is the perfect blend of useful information and comedic value. I applaud you. 😎👏
Haha thanks man, I appreciate that!
Thanks!! I’m just getting into guild trading and it’s intimidating. I’ve been binging your videos to learn all I can. You do a great job and you’re very helpful!!
Ay sweet, I am happy to hear that my videos are not only bingeworthy (Netflix is quaking) but helpful! :D Best of luck with your trading!
omg, I love you, thank you for all the work you put into your videos, thats amazing
Always a pleasure :)
As a fairly new player I found this so informative and helpful. Thank you so much 🥰
Lol this really makes me like the good ol grand exchange in Runescape.
Thank you :)
And yeah I heard about that UI bug...
These vids are brilliant for getting me back up to my (albeit slow) speed. thanks!
Welcome back to ESO! I'm really happy to hear that my content has been useful! Cheers :)
Your videos are fire - entertaining plus solid content. I feel like you're the snl of eso :)
Ayyy thanks :D
We need more trading videos! Always super helpful info
*watches Arttea's new video to learn more about trade guilds and hopefully get gud at stacking the cheddar*
*dies from laughing at the intro before learning anything*
😂
But for real, awesome video and information, thank you!
not only the videos are useful and informative (and quite funny), they for some reason help me get through hard times in my life and I sincerely thank you for that
I’m really happy to hear that my videos can help in any way (:
@@Arttea I wish the best for you and your channel, can't wait for more videos
@@olegbeon thank you kindly ☺️
If I wasn't already subscribed I'd sub for that intro alone 😂
Great info yet again Artie!
Thanks :D
Hmm...as someone that got here via a YT Rec, I got very different things from this video than others.
As someone(a 50 y.o. grandma🤗) that didn't read the comments before playing, I didn't get the point of the opening segment at all, and in fact almost stopped the vid right there(which would have been tragic!). It was only after reading comments that I learned it was part of your unique opening 'shtick', which made me appreciate it more. 😺
And...
Love to all.❤🤍❤🤍❤=🇨🇦
Hi so I just started playing the game in earnest and I clicked out of sheer curiosity. I think my brain just melted.
Hahah yeah I can see this being an information overload if you are super new to the game and don’t even know what a guild trader is 😅
@@Arttea I’m still out here playing this like skyrim multiplayer. All jokes aside, it was entertaining enough to keep me watching, especially the intro, so kudos.
Haha don't worry, I think that most of us went through a phase on ESO when we first started where we played it like "Skyrim Online". I know I sure did - playing my lil stealth archer, stealing a bunch of shit from thieves troves and doing dark brotherhood contracts and all that ;)
Welcome to ESO :)
Thanks. Lots of good advice for people who are looking to start selling items using a trading guild.
Thank you so much for your subscription! I hope that my content can be resourceful (:
Agreed! Oh wow, Belkarth is 2nd eh? That's so crazy how different things are :D
LOL fun video! Love your humor! Great info.
I had to like just for the intro 😄.was looking for vid to send to friend rather than explaine so went to my girl with fun vids. Hug

Great video and sure to help as I just joined two trade guilds! Also what chest style is that? Looks awesome!
Ayyyyy, shout-out to Sorcery! I've been in UU for a while, we share the same guild hall as LA.
Sorc is an absolute legend

If I see any furnishing plans in those kinds of traders I buy them up and toss them in my social guild's guild bank so that the new players can eat them up :)
You can oftentimes find really good deals in those kinds of locations, so I make the time to check them out from time to time :D
@@Arttea Yes! I'm there right now lol, seems like most people have their stuff listed for the game auto of 27 gold. I usually set stuff to 7 or 10 but if you've got a long list of stuff I don't blame them for auto pricing lol.
@@Arttea hey so update I just did the entire Murkmire map lmfao
another informative video, laid out in an entertaining way
Thanks for the video.
I mostly play in "offline" mode, so I have to remind myself to change my status to online for like 1 second every couple of days or so ;p
You should reapply and let them know that that is what happened!
@@Arttea thank you for the reply. I did reapply but so far they haven’t excepted me. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Awesome!! You have an extremely informative video...
Which has led me to the conclusion I shouldn't join a guild lol
Maybe if I can commit to this game for more than a month I'll consider these tips and actually join one.
Those are some solid tips. 😀 my bank is bursting with writs to sell and I will definitely be using this wisdom to clean things up 😁
One thing I have always wondered is what it looks like when a guild tries to secure a trading spot.
But not seeing the usual guilds I buy from there can be a little off putting as they usually don't have the selection I am used to
Woohoo, sweet roll!! ✌️❤️
OMG, I was in the thieves den in Murkmire just last night and noticed there was a guild trader in there and I just thought "good luck down here".
Hahahaha right?!
If I'm in a backwater area that I seen a guild store - I will look through and see if I can find a pity buy.
that intro music reminds me fixed gear bike building videos :)
Love the intros to your videos :))
I just think that people shouldn't be penalized for buying more of something. If anything, they should be rewarded.
Loool I love Arttea videos... buuuyygglooooossss lmmaaaoo. Every time I pick one up I chuckle 🤭
I just had to find a way to sneak a byugloss reference in there lmao
Great vid, the intro was gold 🤣🤣
What motifs are you wearing at the end?
At the very end of the video? I am wearing:
-Stags of Z'en chest, legs, shoulders, feet
-Sunspire hands
-Honor guard belt
-Domihaus arms pack bow
@@Arttea TYSM
This is hella helpful, thank you
OMG the first few minutes of this video is hilarious. Well done. Yea I'm going to watch the rest but damn girl that was funny.
I love that bugloss is just a meme in your vids now lol. That said, I’m upset that ZOS is sticking to guild traders. I would love for them to implement an actual auction house
I think that an auction house would be super neat!
@@Arttea Their servers couldn't handle a central auction house. I actually like going shopping porting from city to city. It gives the game some uniqueness than just standing at a kiosk with 100s/1000s of others like so many other MMOs.
It would totally break the economy. Undercutting would grind all the prices into the dirt.
lol i'm new to the game and my guilds trader in in Mirkmire. But in all honesty I've been selling stuff just fine, been playing a week just hit 50 the other day and just hit 1 million gold. Idk if that's good but it seems to be a decent amount.
Fantastic video! Is there a website for current prices? Unfortunately I play on PS4
Imperfect Cleavage (trading guild) has super low requirements and they're always either in Alinor, Vivec city, or rawl'kha
It's a bummer what happened to their name what with the forced name change - a couple of my guilds got hit with the guild name nerf too (Lucian Alliance -> Lucian Allegiance, Molag Balls Deep (LOL) -> Molag Ballers)
I can also vouch that this guild does indeed secure traders in all of these top tier locations, so if anyone is reading this and looking for a guild, check em out! :)
@@Arttea Molag Balls....Lol, classic. What's wrong with Lucian Alliance?
@@This_Guitarist It was because of some copyright issue, unfortunately, which is so odd considering the fact that they had kept the name for years.
@@xX.D3DP00L_Xx Ayy sister guild! And tell me about it, it’s so weird. Like the name “Lucian” shouldn’t be copyrighted, it’s a normal name! One of my guildies has a pet named Lucian! And “alliance”? I think I understand the system but It just feels so convoluted for new traders that don't have market niches yet
Recently i downloaded 10 mmos looking to be a trader in all of them, I have about 1500 hours in Gw2 and got to be a master crafter there and started flipping on my last 100 hours
I'm playing pokemmo now and I'm always flipping and breeding/crafting mons for profit
I do have about 500 hours in ESO, I used to play casually exploring and questing and I dropped the game but was looking to get back for the market alone looking to get some flips done and level up all my crafting skills once and for all, I've been watching a lot of your videos because they're very good content, but still I haven't been able to wrap my head around eso market yet ;~; I have 0 guilds, about 100k gold and the goal to flip
That was my go to place when I played.
I didn’t know Aubrey plaza played eso. Nice.
Absolutely Love your humor and vids.. 👊🏼🌈🦄
Thank you for the video, like your channel!
Really depends on what you are selling. If you are looking to sell items that are "popular" (for example, motifs or mats), you may find that you will have an easier time selling them for high prices in Vivec because you don't have as much competition from within your guild. In Rawl'kha, you will have to price those things for lower, but you will get a much faster sale, so ultimately it depends on which scenario you'd prefer:
1) Wait a little longer but get more bang for your buck
2) Get an instant sale but at a lower price
For me, how I decide on which scenario I'd prefer for any given item is I look at how much of that item I have.
I actually do have a tier list for all of the zones in ESO, I made a post about it on my website, I will link it below, hopefully it can be resourceful:

I actually just had to look up what ERP is. I'm very old! A whole hour?!!
“In the outlaws refuge........” lmfao
I'm actually frequenting the outlaw refuges pretty often... No special reason.
People are so stupid. They don’t know how to economize pfffft. Good thing you have these videos
Chaotey sent me here ;)
Hahahaaaaa that intro though!!!
is there any point in joining a trading guild as a very new player? I want to buy/sell on the 2nd hand market, thats like all I enjoy in MMOs
ESO on xbox EU, the traders are bugged and we have the worst hassle trying to list items on traders, you basically have to type the exact name into your search bar on your sale screen as you cant scroll down and select it. its a nightmare
Oh god that sounds terrible :( I hope they get to fixing that for you guys ASAP seeing as traders are a pretty integral part of the game
same as on PS EU servers….there are so many more bugs beside the one u mentioned, Zen must be embarrassed the service they deliver and the time they need to fix it… I hope ppl are stopping buying from the crown shop until things get fixed to increase the pressure…sadly this will not going to happen.
@@MrTR909 its awful, im so sick of it. consoles players are second class to PC players were always last for anything.

Thank you kind sir
I am looking for a trading guild in Vivec. Would you be able to recommend yours? I prefer a guild that asks for the dues they need rather than one that is constantly telling people they won’t be able to keep the trader unless people donate lots extra.
Yeah, are you on PC NA? :D
I would highly recommend my Vivec guild, Feline Good Meowporium!
I was just about to add PC NA to my comment, but you beat me to it. 🙂 Thanks so much for the recommendation!
When guilds set up shop in places like boondock outlaw refugee locations, do they have legitimate expectations of selling to anyone other than their own guild?
Haha I get the impression that a guild that would own an outlaw's refuge trader would not prioritize trading so much as other ESO activities, so I don't think they would expect to get many sales at all and would be happy with any amount of outside traffic - unless they are like my friend's guild that I mentioned, and they are just delusional :')
From my impression, guilds that set up shop in those locations are usually pvp or social ones
