OMG, that idea about including enough boosters for the first split is genius! I've never bought a variant from the shop as I felt it was too expensive but if it came with the boosters...I'd totally start grabbing some. That was actually a strong reason I ended up buying the Apocalypse bundle.
Ha! I paused the video to make the above comment then when I hit play and you talked about just pulling Crystal...that was EXACTLY what I got in my reserve when I boosted Apocalypse. Unbelievable!!!
@@gold119 Crystal demands a rework she is abysmal. Mr. Negative needs a rework cause he completely alters how the dev team balances the game. I'm wreaking Havoc on the ladder rn with Mr.- it genuinely feels like an exploit
imagine after playing all infinity stones and thanos whatever is the last card ... thanos goes into animation i am inevitable rather than just add power .... that would be so sick
I love Galactus, I got him at CL 1378 right after the update I feel like all my wins are from people still not expecting him yet, but either way I love that it creates its own archetype and the games play out so much more differently than the other games of snap I've played
I am loving this podcast. Definitely my 2 favorite Snap YTers. And also, it was kinda weird being behind on boosters and not credits when I bought that bundle lol. Sitting on 4K credits right now.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. This show is phenomenal and I hope it never ends. I’d also love to see you guys get Ben Brodes one day to talk to him.
Great idea about the boosters Cozy!! I've yet to buy a variant, but if they gave us enough boosters to hit the split, I could see me buying from time to time.
I just lost the game! Galactus lol That was an amazing line. Love the Snapchat keep up the work. It is definitely my favorite time to listen to you two chat!
27:18 I am actually happy they touched Mysterio, because he was overshadowing Lizard. At the same cost to power, PLUS the benefit of Angela+Bishop interaction, he was really oppressive. Now, people may have second thoughts of whether they should use him or Lizard or some other alternative.
I used Uatu when Bifrost was hot, it could completely kill my strategy and I needed to know if it was coming. If he worked from anywhere I think he'd be a super great card. Knowledge is power. Dropping a 1-power card in Sanctum or Death's Domain before they're revealed can be what wins you a game sometimes.
I think it would be valid if they reduced his power to 0 and let him work from everywhere, he's whole thing is that he sees everything but does nothing
@@danielmilcent9654 Hell yeah, that's a great idea. Even make him a 2 or 3-cost just so he's a little harder to abuse with Blue Marvel/Mystique or some kind of other buff combos. I'd still use him.
Hello, thanks for making the audio version available! I couldn’t find the link for Overcast nor Spotify. Could you please provide the link? I think the name snap chat is almost the same as the app Snapchat hence it’s a bit hard to locate. Thanks!
Rhino needs some love fore sure. Even if his power cost stays the same. Tweeking the ruin location to also add rocks to opponents deck too or something.
I bought Thanos and am working a Jockjaw Zoo deck with him. Thanos allows you to play all of the good zoo cards, while not needed 1 drops because he brings them. He got me from 57 to 64 in a few hours, it works more than it doesn't(Would have gotten higher but no time to grind). My deck looks like a pile of jank, but it all works. All but the Power Stone are gas, often I have 3-5 cards left in my deck when I pop off. I think Thanos is definitely looking S tier, with him definitely having a high skill ceiling
When Alex talked about old Hearthstone decks, I'm from that era - 2016. I used to the play toxic Secret Paladin decks in HS, with Mysterious Challenger. Took me to Legend more than a couple of times That was a fun deck to play, but I gotta admit, people HATED that deck. :D
Sorry! Some regions aren't showing yet apparently. I'll work on getting a full list of links set up. In the meantime, here's the spotify: open.spotify.com/show/6WQZxXEe3jyeqiXBVzD9HA?go=1&sp_cid=77132eb966ebcac6f2958926e0de16d5&nd=1
I hadn't used any gold since starting beta, and the cyber off was what I was waiting for. As a part of using the upgrades, I unlocked Galactus from the collector's reserves. I haven't gotten to try Thanos, but I tweaked my ramp deck for Galactic Death Ramp. Electro on 3, Wave on 4, Galactus on 5, Death + whatever you haves energy to play on 6. It's not always going to work, but it's beautiful when it does
I really would love if when thanos is played , he snaps the infinity gauntlet while saying "I am inevitable" then slams down hulklike and then adds the power , surely loved that 🔥
i play Crystal in my Mister Negative deck, i negative on 4, crystal + top deck on 5 or 6 if i get to play magic on 5, and then get a full hand of negative cards for the final turn
Ok can we be clear that the 7500 gold bundle is predatory? It's an exclusive variant on a limited time bundle, with an ooh look you can buy a few cards attached to it, and priced in gold so that it isn't immediately obvious how expensive it is. By the very definition it is a predatory deal.
You could run killmonger with galactus to destroy rocks, ninjas or squirrels. Use green goblin and hobgoblin to fill up the opponents locations. You could get death for free maybe Spider-Man to prevent the opponent from playing
I think that thanos would feel a lot better if he started as a 6/5 or 6/6 and his effect said “ongoing: +1 power for each stone you’ve played this game” and then the power stones buff could be adjusted to make it still cap at 18. This change would make him feel a lot better to play on 6 because even if you didn’t draw enough stones you’d most likely get to 10 or 11 power at least. Right now, his stats are worse than Chavez. Right now, it’s extremely difficult to get all the stones AND thanos down and even if you do, it’s very unlikely you’re winning a second lane, so making thanos still feel like a decent play on 6 would make it feel a whole lot better personally.
So I've said this about thanos since before he came out and we knew what he was gonna be. I think he's great but I really think another card is coming to make him absolutely LEGIT
I unlocked thanos with the cyber bundle tokens. And I’m running an interesting version because I’m still in middle series 2 not 3 yet but I’m basically using sunspot armor and bishop as stalls til I get thanos obviously the stones help bishop. And armor protects em. I also got hobgoblin in as a tech card just to help me win if I don’t get thanos. It’s pretty fun and I’m at rank 35 now so I’m climbing
thanos dilute your decks like no tomorrow and that's something you don't want on a 12 cards deck. I am not sure if this is something that can be fix.... Remember, you can normally only draw one card at a time, and you only have 6 turns to get 6 stones AND thanos out. This is hard to pull off consistently even if you use Magik
So idk if this has been asked. From reserves, is it not possible to pull a series 4 card until you get all series 3 cards? And also can you not get series 5 until you get all series 4? Has this been explained?
I think they should make it so that if wave is played, she hulk and death will be at 4 cost no matter how many cards were destroyed or how much energy was unspent the previous round. They can just nerf wave’s interaction with she hulk and death instead of nerfing the card as a whole. If it’s still too strong than they can nerf the card
Honestly adding boosters to variants feels like must have now...totally not just saying that because I just got base Ghost Rider Also why not just make Rhino a 3/5? A bigger body would definitely bring his value on par with Scarlet Witch. You can essentially make him a Dethlok aimed at the location itself instead of your cards
I still really love Galactus! He’s always been my favorite marvel villain in general! And I haven’t seen anyway try a huff Galactus strat, I’m interested to see that tested 👀 Obviously there’s ramp but what else you know :)
I think you guys are missing a bit on Galactus. No you cannot really build your deck around him. But I use a variation of the Infinaut control deck. You need Hobgobby for consistent turn 5 and 6 plays. but I've Turn 3 Waved into Galactus, skipped 5 and played Infinaut. You only need 1 other card to really make him work. Is it consistent? Not at all, but it is fun to watch someone set up their Patriot or move combo and you just destroy all of that work. You only have to take out 2 cards to put him and Hobby into an Infinaut deck. Cards that work well with Galactus - Daredevil, Killmonger (get rid of ninjas, raptors and rocks), Nightcrawler to free up a lane, Ock to clear out theit hand before you Galactus. You can really get hurt by the location though. And don't use Jubs. She'll pull Galactus in every time...every time.
Honestly, the Angela nerf doesn't feel that significant in the grand scheme of things. Angela's OPness mainly comes from her +2 everytime you play a card at her location. So my Angela is often power 7 or 9 every game. Now with the nerf, Angela is power 6 or 8. I mean she's weaker, but not that significantly weaker. Now if they decreased her power from +2 to +1, that would be detrimental.
Where the heck do I find cozys thanos decks? I can't even find where he stream or anything. He seems so convinced but he doesn't have any content about it on his own channel
I think Areo is much more problematic than Wong is. wong is really easy to counter (enchantress, cosmo, shangchi) but Areo is real hard to predict on top of her having a VERY high power for what her ability does. Sera i agree isnt actually a problem but i also think Wong isn't. Forced movement is much harder to counter / predict than a card that sits static in a lane.
I wish they would refund credits people spent on nerfed cards like in Hearthstone so we have a choice of if we want to put those credits back into variants of that card or spend that into something else. It would suck to buy a card with collector tokens, saving for weeks/months and it's nerfed and all that time is lost
Thanos is definitely a heavily skill dependent deck... I've encountered 5 of them, 3 the opponent misplayed either by location or timing and I won easily, the other two played perfectly and destroyed me (on the last turn both times btw).
As someone who's played alot of thanos since he's come out testing alot of variations. And for sure thanos is skill intensive deck no matter how you build it. I think the biggest mistake people are making with thanos atm is trying to put him into the wrong decks. Also really fully utilizing the stone's effects is big too.
I am gutted cos I spent 1200 gold saved for challenge resets to reach 1000+ before the update for the tokens. Would have enough to get the bundle without paying if I hadn’t 😭
Couldn’t disagree more with y’all’s opinion on Galactus. I think he’s bonkers. I get him down reliably by turn 4 or 5 in about 90% of my games. And once you do it’s just an easy dub. It’s so easy to win one lane when you’re deck is built around doing exactly that (especially since death discounts off of cards he destroys). It may be because I’m low rank, but I’ve had him for 3 days, and have gone from rank 45 to 70. On the off chance you do lose, it’s nearly always a 1 cube loss, as you can see it coming, whereas it’s almost always a 2-4 cube win as your opponent doesn’t expect you to drop it. Just wanted to share my two cents on it
Galactus is not healthy for the game. It's not a huge problem right now because there very few around but as more people get the more evident that a card that just wipes the entire board just sucks the fun out of the game. Also disagree that is not a card that you build around. In the contrary, it is a card that you build 100% around it and you will very seldom lose. You might not win a ton of cubes because people will retreat but you won't lose.
Thanos needs to be indestructible if you play all of the stones. To much work to just be killed or change it so he snaps and kills some of the enemy's board
@@cloutjumper4852 you're right, working on one card for the whole game for a pay off just to have Thanos destroyed on turn six by shang chi is good game design.
To be honest, if it was any other game I would judge people who bought the 100 dollar bundle. But then I grow and realize, this might be my favorite game of all time and you guys (whales) are supporting it! F2p guys don't keep games running. Heroes of the Storm 2.0 was extremely f2p friendly and Blizzard deemed it unprofitable and put it into maintenance mode. I want Snap to outlive Heroes of the Storm. I want Snap for 10 years atleast
I think they should be very careful with balance because the meta, sure it does exist but the majority of the player base doesnt have all cards to play the meta decks. when it comes to nerfing pool 2 cards its even worse because thats the only cards people have. so they need to be careful
I Don't like the Dracula card. Instead of being able to choose which card to discard the game randomly selects a card from your hand. If he was cloned and you get 4 copies in one location, he will have 4 different power levels. I was looking so forward to using Dracula but not if discard is random...I just laughed to end a game with 4 Draculas with zero power because I had Rocks and other cards but the system chose the rocks...I even had Infinaut in my hand... Dracula was such a bust😭 Now, Nick Fury is a huge game-changer and you can build a deck without any 6 energy cards...
I’m gonna be honest, I’ve played vs a lot of Thanos decks in high infinite rank and have not lost a single match.. I love the character and the card flavor but he’s really bad.
I call move decks big brain decks. You have to always be juggling and it's a lot of Sleight of card. Not my style. Thanos is like that. It's a big brain deck. You have to be calculating and strategically placing. It works better for me because I play a zoo and a destroy-er deck so he goes great in both. Galactis is a trickster deck imo. Harder to pull off and less reliable for sure. You have to Mr negative, psylock, electro, something to get him out way earlier. Funny enough, a Galactis/Thanos deck would be great. Just so long as you don't destroy the stone you're great. They will never expect Galactis and you've got enough card draw to guarantee a whole hell of a lot. Electro and then eat him or send him to the opponent. Along with a psylock. Titans deck for sure.
I gotta disagree on thanos being bad. Thanos is for sure high skillcap card and people thinking about him in the wrong decks. playing at 1700CL and at infinite the deck I've come up with after a lot of testing different variants I got one that has consistently climbed and is for sure an infinite deck.

got both. so far i like galactus more.. but neither fit my playstyle...
Thanos needs to be indestructible if you play all of the stones. To much work to just be killed or change it so he snaps and kills some of the enemy's board
This why we don't let players balance the game lmaoo
I'll be honest here... Serra shouldn't have been touched at all. If anything, Hella and Dino are more broken than serra
Am going for obviously Galutas
I think they should be very careful with balance because the meta, sure it does exist but the majority of the player base doesnt have all cards to play the meta decks. when it comes to nerfing pool 2 cards its even worse because thats the only cards people have. so they need to be careful
Galactus and spider man most crazy combo if u can play galactus turn 4 using wave on turn 3
galactus Is the exoudia of this game
Thanos should be 6\10 with is current gimmick.
Wait, what? Darth Vader is Luke's father?
😮
Already own galactus and pinned thanos! Hit monkey will be amazing with thanos
Cozy where the tweet man🥲
I Don't like the Dracula card.
Dracula was such a bust😭
Now, Nick Fury is a huge game-changer and you can build a deck without any 6 energy cards...
Dare devil before 3 wave on 4 galactus on 5 gg wp
Titans deck for sure.
wave into galactus into knull might break the game
I don’t even mind the Thanos decks. Constructed Galactus decks are so BS though.
Thanos and Galactus.. mehhh.. great to collect tho
My UA-cam premium is money well spent You can shut your screen off and listen to videos on UA-cam
This video did not age well :D
nerf Watu
I gotta disagree on thanos being bad. Thanos is for sure high skillcap card and people thinking about him in the wrong decks. playing at 1700CL and at infinite the deck I've come up with after a lot of testing different variants I got one that has consistently climbed and is for sure an infinite deck.
