Samsung A80 is one of the most innovative phones came out recently....However, still think that note 10 will be the best phone in 2019.

That's awesome. Stick with your S10e for as long as you need and upgrade whenever you feel like it. (=

Ezra Hagar I just use contracts so you can get a better phone for less money essentially. Because your not paying £700 or $700 at one moment

Before everybody gets too excited by this phone let's not overlook a few things even beyond the SD 730 cpu. Front glass is lowly Gorilla Glass 3, no expandable memory, main camera does not have OIS, no headphone jack, and mediocre cellular reception far below the Galaxy S10 series, S9 series, and even S8 series. A pretty screen does not make up for all that.

I bought an A50 for my dad since the price was more affordable and it's a great phone. I like it almost more than my s10 as far as design goes.
Esmeralda Escobar definitely. I really did like it and yes, you can easily compare it to the S10. That’s why Samsung is on top in the tech industry. They don’t sell junk

Thank Saki, but spec for spec, the Note 10/10+ outweighs the one attraction A80 offers, the camera. Inferior display, processor, screen, mono sound,etc., easy win for the Note 10/10+. Thanks again Saki, great review.

Very Catchy click title hehehe but they are totally different devices and purposes...
Plus, Don't forget a80 is thick heavy not good battery and this rotating camera may be easily damaged.
I would prefer a small camera outout in the middle of the status bar of the Note 10 instead plus water and dust resistance and way better battery and performance. :-)

I have this phone and love it I'm just irritated that in the us you get a free case but over here in the UK Samsung seemed to have forgot to put em in 😔
Omg yeah I noticed that checked my box twice thinking I might of not seen it hidden in the box. The UK need to put it in the box included. As the cases to buy separately are around £30.

No headphones jack no stereo speakers. No expandable storage. And those are the features that I like
I have the a50 I like the a series. I switched from the s8 and the transition was pretty much seamless. Wish I would've waited. I got the 6gb ram 128 gb memory version.
Nice concept from Samsung the Galaxy A series. But the price jump from A70 to A80 is just to much.
To say it's ridiculous is an understatement.

Hello Saki, I noticed that the A80 came with an earphone but it doesn't have an earphone jack. So how do you watch movies, listen to music and stuffs?
That's why I love Note 9. No notch or hole!
LG V40 also has all screen in videos. No notch in videos!

Does the camera allow you to use the flash in selfie mode? Or are you only lit my the phone screen?

It would have to have wireless charging and snapdragon 855 for me to get it. Only thing I’m afraid of is that motorized camera.

Can't forget that Note 10 comes with IP 68 rating unlike A80. I'm not critizising A80. But can't compare a midranger with a flagship from the same manufacture.

The 730g Snapdragon in my Samsung a80 is better than my exynos 9820 in my S10 for everything I found the exynos to lag quite a lot

Is this phone going to be available on the carriers or is it exclusively unlocked?
I wouldn't mind if they offered a version without a selfie camera altogether, then you wouldn't have to compromise the water resistance, the camera weak point, or the screen like on other Samsung phones.

It has a type c headset. I have a80. Instead of using the free headset I'm using my bluetooth headphone.

No 2K no stereo speakers no water resistance are you kidding me get a Note 9.
3:30 wait you mean no bixby button that is remappable? I'll still take the note 10 pro over anything else, good video though! also you can make the phone appear faster and snappier by turning off animations. with it on it makes everything appear much slower and it's automatically turned on with most of the newer phones. also if I'm spending that much I would want the stereo speaker option and the better finger print scanner that the note 10 pro will have.

Does it have a FLAT SCREEN ? My Samsung "humped" screen impedes my use of a stylus in typing on right side of the keyboard. Thusly I have become a LG buyer.

The only thing special about the A80 is it's motorized camera, it isn't a replacement for the Note or S-line, frankly considering it's within S10 territory in terms of pricing it doesn't seem worth the money at all.

Imagen this phone with the curves sides top and bottom. No bottom bezel and atleast a full display audio surface... that and a camera that has more megapixels then the rest.
Yup, A80 is more realistic compare to note 10 which still remains as a fantasy (unimaginable, rumour news or fake online info).
Having a moving piece seems like a backward tech move for me.
Main questions are... how durable is it? How long will it last?
I’m very sceptical when it comes to those moving parts...
I might tolerate a sliding mechanism as there is less parts involved and most likely more durable than the A80’s cam.

It is really expensive with just few good features. I think Note 8 is better even now, with almost same price as A80
I wonder how durable that phone will be for everyday use. I drop my phone from time to time by mistake of course , I have samsung wireless charges so no wireless charger makes my charging devices useless.

Samsung needs to have a flat-screen flagship phone, getting fed up of the curved screen. It's wasted real estate and more chances of accidental touches with more chance of dropping.

If Samsung has small iterations to show, then no big deal. But if there are real technology leaps to make, put them in the Note before the S. Getting just an S with a pen is what's hurting the Note and making Note users look elsewhere. Flagship dragship SMH.

I agree I've had the phone only 4 months and the camera gets stuck when want to rotate it. And doesnt fit any case without it getting stuck constantly. I really wanted this phone when I upgraded to it. But now not only is it discontinued in the UK where I'm from but it is now pissing me off with the camera. And I left iPhone for this.

@@152mmapfsds - He's saying that the Samsung A series is Samsung's test line where they release new features to test more widespread opinions. I don't know if there's any truth to it, but I do think that if they made a phone with no lost screen space, they'll probably apply that to their S11 in some way.

The A80 is nice. Note 10 isn't much better. Why did Samsung tell us about 855+ and there's that upcoming 64mp camera, and then note include them in the Note 10? Whenever there is a big leap in tech, the Note should embrace it if it comes out that year. Nobody wants to hear about new tech and then skip a year or buy an S11. Instead, we get unremarkable tech with great battery potential for an iteration. Not a fan anymore right now.
