I installed this in my JK over a year now. I really like it alot. That stinky carpet from getting wet and that moldy smell I don't miss it. Not a cheap mod by far, but you get what you pay for. I can't wait until they sell the final back cargo area for my JK. I will definitely be ordering the final piece good riddance to all of that carpet.
If you loosen the front seat brackets, it’s easier to install, I took the bolts out of the rear seat and held it up to slide the flooring under, it worked well. The torque for the seat bolts is 55 ft lbs.
You pull the drain plugs. They have information on their website. Will the Armorlite flooring material mold? No, the bottom insulator layer is made of 100% polyester insulator, it resists mold and mildew and its fibers do not absorb water. Therefore, it dries quickly and eliminates the issue of smelly, moldy carpet.

Update, I ordered and installed mine, took about a hour. This stuff truly is a great addition to the Jeep. I own and 2015 Jeep JKU and it’s a perfect fit and couldn’t be happier with the product. If you are on the fence, buy it. You won’t be disappointed. Great job, Armorlite
I just installed my full kit and everything fits well however I'm having an issue with the center console not fitting exactly like it was before. I could snap back in place from where the cup holder part is but towards the bottom by the parking break there is a part that is still lifted up. Gotta Figure this out.
The JK two-door kit is planned to launch this year. In the meantime, if you would like to stay up to date on the latest product news and launches please sign up for our mailing list at goarmorlite.com
@@goarmorlite OH wonderful. Thanks. I have you guys bookmarked on my browser and will be checking. So, only one month left in the year. I hope it will be out before Jan 1st.
@@goarmorlite OH wonderful news. Thanks. I will go check it out. Thanks for the link. It looks awesome! I hope I can pick one of those up for my two door. I do my share of jeep videos here on my channel. Never been a fan of the carpet. Recently went ducking. That was fun.
@@goarmorlite Good morning, I have a two door JK as well, but my carpet is removed and sprayed with raptor liner, will that cause any issues installing this? Thank you
How does it hold to rain water sipping in from our piece of crap jeep door and roof seal design? Looks like its carpeted under and thats the main reason I pulled my carpet long time ago! My carpet was always wet and smelled like mold after a while from the rain water sipping in and staying under the carpet for days, even now everytime it rains I have water under my mats and if I install your product I'm sure it will still have water sipping in
J Ried I’m with you sir! What’s your take on wanting it to run all the way up the sides like the BedRug version of this product? No doubt it seems the Armorlite is far superior product from the other which is what has led me to them! Just to me it seems just coving the floor and not the rest of the tub seems silly, am I wrong?
David Thomas i think they will come out with it eventually. They’re fairly new and the machinery to do it is expensive, plus the whole corona stuff. I’d get the full 2dr kit and just rattle can bed line the exposed part until it’s released. If it doesn’t look like the 2dr will be anytime soon i might be forced to go bedtred route
J Ried ya that’s what I’m afraid of is going the other route too, not that it’s gonna be a total shit show but just prefer to have a higher quality product! I could always get it line-x’d for 460 and that’s true line-x but just don’t wanna have it fully committed if for some reason down the road carpet is needed if you feel me. I understand cost of R&D and such just really excited for the product!
This was extremely difficult to install. This is a marketing video and is NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. Do better and make something that actually has tips on how to make the installing easier. I had to at a minimum loosen the bolts of the seats and made a crucial mistake of not sliding the mat under the second center console piece that does not pop off. Doing that last was painful, actually painful. I’m also now concerned that if I totally submerge the cabin that I should pull this stuff out and let it dry. At least I know the tricks now I guess if it came to that but wow, what a pain. Thinking I should have rhino lined instead. EDIT: Watching this again she installs both front mats INCORRECTLY under the center console. It will not clip back down into place if it only goes under the unclipped piece 🤦♂️
It took me 20 minutes to do both sides, if you loosen the seat brackets it’s easier to install. The back seat I took the bolts out, and lifted the seat up and it was pretty easy to install. I let the flooring sit out in the Florida sun for about 20 minutes or so, maybe that helped.
@@Suncoastrealestatemedia Exactly my point. This install video was crap and unhelpful. Loosening the seat bolts definitely helps here and I’d argue that it’s required.
Why do we have to have the terrible ZZ Top rip off music? Just give us a voiceover explaining what you're doing so we don't have to keep pushing pause or rewatching to read all the instructions.

This looks way better than weather tec mats

This video is very misleading. Installation took hours!
the rear install was a major pain for me haha!
Will you design with the terrain style pattern?
There is a difference in JKU interiors between 12-18. This fits them all?
This does fit all model years.
Most jeeps get water intrusion at the front door. It will get in behind the plastic panels. What and how do you prevent water from getting under it?
They dont hence why they have not replied to you yet.

The center console looked a bit flimsy after the fact. Does it connect back snug again?
It does indeed lock back in place. Check out this video VictorVectorJKU made about installing our product ua-cam.com/video/TJ4sQunxmiU/v-deo.html

I suggest crying. Oh wait...
I didn’t have any issues, took maybe a hour to do both front and back.
