I feel alot of the other characters should have been playable. Just drop out that THING and have Tails and the others playable in its place. Plus I feel it'd make the whole talk about friendship feel alot more genuine if Sonic's actual friends were by his side, rather than some no name Joe he's only known for five minutes and then will never be seen again.

Though he did appear just as Sega were shifting towards the Sonic or bust they've near enough been doing the past decade. Also with saying Silver in Rivals, I couldn't help but think he was acting as something of a high school bully to Tails, looking to take his rings/lunch money off him in the story mode of Rivals 2. Thankfully though when playing as the two tailed wonder, he can show Silver he just messed with the wrong kitsune. Those were the days for Tails, when he could actually do things...
We have an episode Shadow so it makes sense that there should be an Episode Silver but it can start in the Future then work up to the moments in the Game he was in all the way to the end

I don't understand why they could let Silver do something but they stick Tails being made try and make Classic look strong. If you think about it, Silver is indirectly responsible for the Resistance's victory. Notice how he knocked loose one of the Phantom Ruby prototypes. That is the same one that is later picked up by the rookie, and used to keep the illusion sun from killing everyone. Therefore, Silver is indirectly responsible for keeping everyone else alive. ...Which actually makes since now that I think about it, because he's trying to change the future, so of course he had to do something himself to change things.
Experience doesn't matter if someone is that much more powerful. Silver demonstrated it here. We don't know how powerful his telekinesis is or it's limit.

I feel like Silver the Hedgehog was at his prime in Sonic 06. I actually liked sonic 06 btw but anyways, i believe silver was at his prime bcuz he was a playable character, had his own storyline of him being a warrior from a doomed future and traveling to the past.(Exactly like future trunks from dbz) and Silver contributed to the final battle in Sonic 06 transforming into a super form. Now I feel like sega doesn’t know what to do with him anymore like they just include silver as one of Sonic’s friends in the game when he used to be a badass psychokinetic warrior. Nowadays in the sonic franchise it’s all about Sonic and Shadow but wasn’t Silver part of the hedgehog trio in sonic 06? Doesn’t feel like he is anymore.
How sonic forces should had been. Sonic stays locked up far longer and doesn’t come back until the rising action. With Sonics absence you play as Knuckles, Silver and Shadow. All with different game play styles. We actually get a chaos boss fight, Classic sonic stays in his dimension, NO 2D SECTIONS AT ALL. Less linear levels. Shadow can boost but gets his boost from rings and defeating enemies. And has a his chaos spear attack. Silver can glide and boost. These will have to be charged tho. Silver will have slow levels that require creativity but with occasional parts of the level that are linear and allow silver to boost just so you can get the sonic speed feel. His boost however won’t let him hurt enemies, forcing you to use telekinesis against enemies. Knuckles will be able to glide, climb and punch. Just like in sonic adventure 2, without the treasure hunting.

Well Infinite was telling Silver that fighting back is useless and that there’s no hope. if anything they did the opposite, he was able to trade blows with infinite for a while, something pretty much everyone struggled with. he was only beat because sonic and avatar double teamed infinite
For me everyone except Sonic,Classic and Rockie looks weak here. Just look how the pOwEr Of FrIeNdShIp was enough to defeat Infinite and characters like mr. Ultimate Lifeform don't get a chance.

Silver is Sonic's version of Rauru and Zero/Infinite is Sonic's version of Skull Kid. I don't see how Rauru would lose to Skull Kid. So Silver should've won. And maybe talk some sense into him.

(Just a little something to summarise what happened after the cutscene and before and after the boss) Sonic: AHHHHHHH! Silver: Sonic! Infinite: I will deal with him later, but first I will finish what I started.....(forms a sword with the phantom ruby that resembles the sword he had in the comics) BY ENDING YOU!! Infinite charges towards Silver with the sword without any hesitation or remorse. Silver thinks that it's now over for him, that he failed to protect the future and his friends, but then he remembered what Infinite had put Sonic through the past 6 months, torture. Sonic always saw Sonic as his older brother like he saw Blaze as his older sister, he would not let the people who put Sonic in so much pain go unpunished. As quickly as he could, Silver waited until Infinite was close enough and when he was, Silver cupped his hands around the blade, leaving a gap where you could see the aura of his telekinesis forcing the blade back. Infinite: Why do you resist? You know it's already over for you, with or without your blue saviour you are all but puppets to the Eggman empire, you will all fall! So just admit it, it's no use. Silver: Ngh....in the words of a great hero........"I never fear the fall".......TAAAKE THIS!! Infinite: Ngh!? Silver than removes one hand from holding the sword and blows Infinite back into the air with a powerfull charge from his telekinesis. Infinite: Nhhhhhh, looks like you have more fight in you than I thought, very well then. Let's see just what you're made of. (Boss commences) Silver and Infinite pant hard hovering over the giant snake as Sonic comes running from a cliff side and jumps towards Infinite, who counters with back hand to the face. Sonic falls down below the cyan hedgehog and Silver gasps in shock to see Sonic badly bruised. Silver: Sonic! He then floats down towards the blue blur and holds him in his hands trying his best to comfort him from his wounds. Silver: Hey Sonic, you okay? Sonic: Trust me Silver, *cough*, I've been worse. Silver: It's alright, I've got you. Infinite: Well isn't this touching, the one who saves people is being cared by those he vows to protect, how quaint. Silver: Quaint!? It's not quaint it's inspiring! Infinite: What exactly does it inspire? Does it inspire people to risk their lives for others? Cuase if so than you both are more fools then I took you for. Infinite then fires cubes of energy at the two hedgehogs in front of him. I would kill you but after what you both displayed today, you're not even worth finishing off, plus, I want both of you to see the destruction of your planet. Infinite then flies off into the horizon of the pale moon sky, becoming nothing more than a pixel of light. Silver watches as he dissappears into the sky then turns his attention to the wounded hedgehog in his arms. Sonic slowly opens his eyes to see a worried Silver looking down on him. Sonic: *cough* Silver? Silver: Yes Sonic? Sonic: Where's *cough* Where's Infinite? Silver: Gone. I'm so sorry Sonic. I couldn't stop him and now you're even more hurt than you were before! There's no need to be concerned about me, I mean look at yourself, besides we'll beat him. Silver: But Sonic, you were tortured for six months....SIX MONTHS! He's on their side so who else has the ability to beat Infinite and the Eggman empire!? What do you want ME to do relax!? Sonic: Yes. Silver was taken back by the direct answer he was just given. Sonic: Silver, I couldn't beat him, you couldn't him, it doesn't matter, sure we may have lost the fight but we haven't lost the war. Silver if it's one thing I know about you it's that you never give up, so why start now? You don't just stand there and let others beat you down, you get back up and fight back, you just did it there when Infinite was fighting against you, so do me one favour and don't worry so much, okay? It's not like you. Sonic did have point, just before Silver was about to stab by Infinite, he admitted defeat but he remembered about why he fought and the people he fought for. Silver, no matter how high the stakes are, never gave up and that's something that both him and Sonic were good at. Silver realised this and without any further hesitation he pulled Sonic into a hug crying into his shoulder. Sonic: Silver......can't......breath! Silver: *Sniff*.....Sorry. It's just no one has really said that to me before. Sonic: Well I'm honoured to be the first, haha. Silver returned his statement with a smile and with all his remaining strength left he stood up, with Sonic in his hands and flew off into the horizon, on course to the Resistance base. Silver knew no matter what he and everybody else would be safe as long as Sonic was around. Silver looked at the blue hedgehog in his arms to see him sleeping and snoring like a baby bear. Silver: Man, I'm so lucky to have you as a brother.

Silver: Ngh....in the words of a great hero........"I never fear the fall".......TAAAKE THIS!!
Infinite: Ngh!?
Silver than removes one hand from holding the sword and blows Infinite back into the air with a powerfull charge from his telekinesis.
Infinite: Nhhhhhh, looks like you have more fight in you than I thought, very well then. Let's see just what you're made of.
(Boss commences)
Silver and Infinite pant hard hovering over the giant snake as Sonic comes running from a cliff side and jumps towards Infinite, who counters with back hand to the face. Sonic falls down below the cyan hedgehog and Silver gasps in shock to see Sonic badly bruised.
Silver: Sonic!
He then floats down towards the blue blur and holds him in his hands trying his best to comfort him from his wounds.
Silver: Hey Sonic, you okay?
Sonic: Trust me Silver, *cough*, I've been worse.
Silver: It's alright, I've got you.
Infinite: Well isn't this touching, the one who saves people is being cared by those he vows to protect, how quaint.
Silver: Quaint!? It's not quaint it's inspiring!
Infinite: What exactly does it inspire? Does it inspire people to risk their lives for others? Cuase if so than you both are more fools then I took you for.
Infinite then fires cubes of energy at the two hedgehogs in front of him. Silver does his best to protect Sonic and him with he's telekinesis but one cube sends him off balance and another cube is sent towards both of them. Silver turns his back to the cube heading for him, holding onto Sonic tight to protect him and gets hit in the back by the projectile, tumbling to the ground, bruised and a bit broken.
Silver: Ahhh!
Infinite: I think I've proved my point here. I would kill you but after what you both displayed today, you're not even worth finishing off, plus, I want both of you to see the destruction of your planet.
Infinite then flies off into the horizon of the pale moon sky, becoming nothing more than a pixel of light. Silver watches as he dissappears into the sky then turns his attention to the wounded hedgehog in his arms. Sonic slowly opens his eyes to see a worried Silver looking down on him.
Sonic: *cough* Silver?
Silver: Yes Sonic?
Sonic: Where's *cough* Where's Infinite?
Silver: Gone. I'm so sorry Sonic. I couldn't stop him and now you're even more hurt than you were before!
Silver stopped when he flet Sonic's hand grip around his own, he looked down at the blue hedghog who just smiled.
Sonic: Silver, it's alright. There's no need to be concerned about me, I mean look at yourself, besides we'll beat him.
Silver: But Sonic, you were tortured for six months....SIX MONTHS! And now you're even more damaged and you just want me to not care, Sonic if I couldn't beat him and you couldn't beat him then who can, Shadow? He's on their side so who else has the ability to beat Infinite and the Eggman empire!? What do you want ME to do relax!?
Sonic: Yes.
Silver was taken back by the direct answer he was just given.
Sonic: Silver, I couldn't beat him, you couldn't him, it doesn't matter, sure we may have lost the fight but we haven't lost the war. Silver if it's one thing I know about you it's that you never give up, so why start now? You don't just stand there and let others beat you down, you get back up and fight back, you just did it there when Infinite was fighting against you, so do me one favour and don't worry so much, okay? It's not like you.
Sonic did have point, just before Silver was about to stab by Infinite, he admitted defeat but he remembered about why he fought and the people he fought for. Silver, no matter how high the stakes are, never gave up and that's something that both him and Sonic were good at. Silver realised this and without any further hesitation he pulled Sonic into a hug crying into his shoulder.
Sonic: Silver......can't......breath!
Silver: *Sniff*.....Sorry. It's just no one has really said that to me before.
Sonic: Well I'm honoured to be the first, haha.
Silver returned his statement with a smile and with all his remaining strength left he stood up, with Sonic in his hands and flew off into the horizon, on course to the Resistance base. Silver knew no matter what he and everybody else would be safe as long as Sonic was around. Silver looked at the blue hedgehog in his arms to see him sleeping and snoring like a baby bear.
Silver: Man, I'm so lucky to have you as a brother.
