SF2 is the reigning king, and although SF3 is the connoisseur's choice, it was SF4 that took the series out of the dark ages and fired up the public's interest in the franchise. SF4 has it's flaws, but ultimately is one of the most rewarding and exciting games in the genre by a long way.
Game speed is more consistent, normals are harder to whiff punish, executions, buffers are more correct than SFV, buffers can kill you in SFV cuz they are more long than USF4, better input lag, animations speed, is better to play by yourself to just watch a video Or maybe now im thinking... a lot of players switch to PC play SFV. Capcom don't know how to optimize a 2016 game in 2020 on consoles 🤦🏿♂️ what a joke
Back when Capcom knew how to make quality games. Why the **** did they stray from the path that reaped so much success? How could they be stupid enough to make casual trash like SFV when USFIV was loved for the depth hidden beneath the seemingly simple surface?
during infiltration 5-7 Poonko, if Poonko keep going with el fuerte probably he would win.He wanted to beat him playing with Seth but he could not.If anyone watched whole match can understand what i mean
personally I feel Poongko felt Infiltration adapting to his El Fuerte and didn't want to him to fully adjust so he switched back to Seth. The only reason I say that is because once his Seth lost again and he reverted back to El Fuerte but couldn't get another win.
@@aduj he did 6 win strike with el fuerte. Ofcorse maybe i am wrong. He clearly dominated matches with E.F.Also infiltration motivation lost during 6 win strike. Probably hated his playing. (el fuerte is annoying character). As a fighting gamer i understand Poonko decision
I feel like Poongko going back to Seth late in the set was either a low key power move or a flex on himself to up the ante and challenge himself. Infil clearly showed some SFIV rust, but he STILL brought it back around in the end.
The hype of the old gods is back I know they all love SF5 but there is something you can't replace of the old Seth & Akuma with those mechanics that makes it feel like a lost era.
@Ari Jappendi Yeah Seth used to be ultra insane able to both zone and all in extremely hard with amazing ease .Now he's an all in character with a different playstyle. The old Seth was a strange beast that has very few equals most of which are in the older fighting games.
This seems to happen with "hitgrabs" in SF4. A move that when it hits, it does no initial damage but goes into a throw animation. So if you trade it, and it doesn't get to do it's animation, it deals no damage. Abels falling sky works exactly the same and I've had zero damage trades with that too.
His fight vs PR Rog, where he counter-picked Balrog with fucking Hakan was legendary as fuck! Xian and his Gen were also incredibly impressive, as was Nemo’s Rolento/Yang!
Aah yes USF4 the game that actually took real skill, you had 1Frame Links and the full works infinite setups and variables the game where you watched pros play because you could never do what they could do. Then we have SFV LOL lmao SFV lol

As an El Fuerte player I'll tell you that: there is an approximate 5 frame sweet spot you aim for after the initial FP -> run. The 4th frame is the perfect window. hitting LP during the 1,2,3,or5 frame will push the opponent further away during the combo. you also push the opponent away for every frame you miss outside of the 2 frame sweet spot immediately after you cancel run linking to FP. Being late in the link, you drop the combo, being early you end up not running deep enough pushing the opponent further away and inevitably dropping, being early in the link the FP doesn't come out. Running too far in you drop the combo, running not far enough you either whiff or push the opponent away. If you can cancel into FP and run deep enough within those 5 frames you can comfortably do 7+ RSFs, but between the running and stopping and linking the FP after the stop you can lose frames in that 5 frame sweet spot on every LP and FP you press.
I don't agree that SFV is trash, but I do agree that USFIV is substantially better. I feel like you'd frequently see new and/or impressive tech each big tournament. There would be hype moments and wild counterpicks (Infiltration's Hakan vs PR Balrog's Balrog), etc. The game was so much more hype, whereas SFV is just the same flowchart combos over and over. It's not a bad game, just not nearly as good as USFIV. Blah blah blah I'll shut up now.
