few things: acheron is indeed raiden mei she had concept art and concept kit way before hsr launched, in that concept kit she was a lightning hunt but she wasn't worked on for a long time then suddenly brought up as a reworked character who is now lightning nihility, her design is the same from one of the raiden mei's concept art but her kit was totally changed Firelfly is sam's pilot...firelfly is a artificially created biological something who was specifically created for piloting this highly sophisticated weapon sytem called SAM...but something happened and she escaped that lab and joined stellaron hunters

First of all, Yayi and Acheron could be concept art of the same character. We stopped hearing about Yayi (or whatever) and heard news only about Acheron. HSR don't release 2 5* character with so similar design. The second thing is that Chinesse and Japanesse voice actor is the same as Raiden Mei and Raiden Shogun. The third thing is that Acheron weapon is Herrsherr of Thunder weapon, and Acheron clothes are mix between Raiden Shogun and Raiden Mei APHO. There is too many similarities to think that she isn't Raiden expy

Wouldn't it be cool if Acheron can actually switch on 2 paths namely, Nihility and Hunt paths like MC? I've seen some leaks before (not sure of reliability) of some motion blur pic of her with color purple-blue AND white-red -ish colors. That does not explain much. Ppl even joked about her being RGB lol. Like that would definitely be a must pull for a unique character. For me personally that would be cool as I've never played anything but HSR but I'm so intrigued by Acheron. She seems to be a DPS like Dr. ratio which is based on debuffs. And I don't have a Lightning dps yet.
That's not Acheron, that's Yayi. Yayi concept art came later and the official Acheron visual didn't change from her concept art, so we can assume that the one who you are talking is Yayi

The only 4 star Preservation unit is March 7th and there are only 2 5 star Preservation units or 3 if you're already counting Aventurine meanwhile Abundance already has 3 5 stars and 2 4 stars or 3 if you're already counting Gallagher.

Acheron being Lightning Nihility would be a bad play on Hoyo's part. They should use up all other elemental path combimanations for 5 stars before ever considering to double dip. Bc we have Kafka as a 5 star Lightning Nihility already & now those two will be in very direct conflict with each other if Acheron is also Lightning Nihility. The far smarter play is to make Acheron Hunt Lightning. Or if it's true that Raiden Mei already has Hunt Lightning then Acheron should be Destruction Lightning.
From the leaks we have so far, Archeron has a completely differrent playstil then Kafka so there is no overlap between those two. Kafka's main focus is DOT and nothing else... while Archeron has absolutely no DOT in her pack. All we now so far, depending on the different leaks, is that she seems to have 2 different fighting modi and she has a charge up buff on herself and/or debuff on the enemy and seems to deal huge amount of aoe damage depending on the charge or stacks. Yayi (Mei) will be Lightning Hunt and, like the most Hunt characters, she has more focus on high single target dps. But like all leaks, we should take them with grain of salt... they already changed a lot of character kits in their beta tests. Also it is inevitable to get characters with the same element/path sooner or later. They release 2-3 characters per version update and we only have 7 patch and 7 elements. They only way the prevent overlaping characters with the same element/path would be to release new paths and elements but the can become very messy very fast. In the end just pull for which character you like and if you think you don't need this characters because of her path,element or kit then don't waste your resources.

By staggering the way i described you can properly enjoy your pull knowing that even even if they get powercrept by a bigger damage dealer that comes right after them, they still maintain their unique element & path for the utility that that alots them (via break & unique access to Lightcones) for a good while until Hoyo finally exhausts all combinations before they come around to a next 5 star Imaginary Destruction character.

Also think about we get another patch 2.0 what if the standard banner will be increased of the characters? As we know from HI3 hoyoverse add some of characters also to the standard banners do you rhink that might be possible it will be acheron or raiden mei into it because she is expo? If they decide to go that route and combine the two, they lose another character when they arguably setup Acheron as their Raiden expy already even though Yayi was already in the works.

Maybe it's the most Inefficient in the Current Meta (Unless your Seele or FUA) but when Hoyo drops a Single Boss gamemode with like 800K HP on 1-2 Phases. That is where the core of Hunt Shines outside or maybe the same HP boss that Spawns Trash mobs (Where Resurgance and the Extra turn mechanics shine the most)

Wait, in what leak did you find Firefly to be Fire and Destruction? Since she's rumored to be the pilot of Sam, her being Fire + Destruction is extremely unlikely because it would be redundant.
We might be able to play her and sam as one character 🤔 Ultimate skill might be her piloting Sam and having new set of abilities for a number of turns

Sam's ult is to empower his skill and maximize his talent passive. Doubt they'll change much so there's no character swap in leaks.
If they decide to go that route and combine the two, they lose another character when they arguably setup Acheron as their Raiden expy already even though Yayi was already in the works.

There is no character switch becasue they are one and the skill is fireflys skill not sam

@@XochiMictlan Next patch we're getting the new mirror mode pure fiction that will be great for erudition, whereas hunt is still outclassed by destruction in normal MoC, and I'm saying this as a Hunt enjoyer, but destruction units are just too busted with their on-par single target damage plus the extra slpash

Maybe it's the most Inefficient in the Current Meta (Unless your Seele or FUA) but when Hoyo drops a Single Boss gamemode with like 800K HP on 1-2 Phases. That is where the core of Hunt Shines outside or maybe the same HP boss that Spawns Trash mobs (Where Resurgance and the Extra turn mechanics shine the most)
